Top Tier Ranks
Big Mama/Papa: The head of the mercs. They direct daily life by settling disputes, listening to concerns, confirming/disbanding treaties, and generally making sure the Kuuza are ready for war whenever summoned (1/1).
Lil Mama/Papa: Second in command. This role takes the place of a shadow master with paws in most pridal activities. It is their burden to see the Big’s ideas come to fruition, though through their hard work they have earned a rank that cannot be taken from them through challenge. (1/1)
Leading Ranks
Butcher: They command the healers of the pride, and are therefore the most skilled. (0/2)
Mole: Every snoop reports to the Mole and they in turn are only required to share their gathered intel with the Mamas/Papas. (1/1)
Chief: Someone has to train the new recruits! It is a Chief’s job to weed through potential candidates and pick the most promising to become Venturers, as well as to lead them into battle. These are usually seasoned vets who have proven themselves in battle, and hold effective leadership techniques. (2/3)
Basic Ranks
Sawbones: With a lifestyle based around rough physical contact, scrapes and breaks are bound to happen! Someone needs to be around to patch up wounded Venturer’s, or even deliver a mercy kill.
Snoop: These are the eyes and ears of the Kuuza. It is up to them to maintain information on as many prides, coalitions, and packs as possible with all reports going to the (whatever the spy master is called). For this rank speed and stealth are valued, as well as an ability to blend in with outside groups. Some snoops have even been known to join other prides and live solely as informants.
Venturer: Venturer’s make up the bulk of the fighting force, and will be trained with militaristic precision until they are seasoned enough to develop tactics of their own. In times of peace they may be asked to assist with guard patrols as well as regular training exercises.
Grave Dodger: The elderly and/or those injured in battle to the point they can no longer perform normal functions. They are tasked with watching over and teaching the youth. In most cases they are the first to recommend certain cubs/pups for specific ranks.
Squirt: General rank for cubs. Adolescents will take the rank of their future profession.
