Ranks By Species

Lions & Lion Hybrids
Lions are considered full regular members of the pride. Since lion hybrids have a lion parent, they are simply considered to be lions or part lions. These SoA can take on any rank available.


Cheetahs, Leopards & Hybrids
Non-lion SoA are not considered full regular members of the pride and cannot take on positions of authority. They can generally take on Civilian and Default rankings. Since females are dominant in this pride, non-lion females can take on the Warrior rank but cannot take on Guardian or Master ranks.

The Royal Family

Queen
The ruling female of the pride, her job is to uphold the laws and traditions of the pride and maintain the warrior system, her word is final. She is ultimately responsible for the lives of every member of the pride and must take her job seriously in order for the pride to be strong.


Soulmate
He or she is the chosen mate of the Queen and is the support behind the Queen's power. Due to the power of this position, whoever the Queen chooses to bond with for the rest of her life will always go through a soul bonding ceremony with the Queen and become the Queen's Soulmate. This creates the special bond needed for the two of them to act as one force. The Soulmate also acts as the Queen's personal consultant and aids in her decision making.


Princess
The daughters of the Queen, growing up they are expected to learn studiously from the Masters and their mother to gain as much knowledge and as many skills as they accomplish. They are taught the value of the sacrificing oneself for others and working hard for the good of the community. As adults they can hold the title of Royal, take on a civilian position, or become warriors, the Queen will chose one as an heir.


Prince
The sons of the Queen, growing up they are raised just as any other male cub in the pride. Since a prince will never inherit leadership over the pride, they do not have the same expectations put on them as the princesses do. As adults they can hold the title of Royal or take on a civilian position.


Royal
These are blood relatives of the Queen.

Warrior Ranks {Female Only}

Master
{This rank requires one spirit quest RP and one general pride RP. The spirit quest RP can be of your guardian going on the actual quest or an RP of her after the quest}
Masters are warriors who have trained for a long time, and have gone on a spiritual journey to learn about their inner selves in order to awaken their truest potential. They are the highly respected teachers of the pride, they teach everyone from cubs to guardians to the royal family.

They are said to be very disciplined and balanced individuals. They also act as a council for the Queen, protecting her and helping her make decisions.


Guardian
{This rank requires one training PRP or SRP in which your SoA learns or demonstrates a skill or warrior value that they have learned in their training}
Once warriors have proven themselves to be competent, they can take on the rank of Guardian. Guardians are responsible for watching over the pride's borders and making sure that no strangers make it inside, they take turns working day and night so that there are always watchful eyes protecting the pride, if any danger where to actually appear, the guardians will alert the warriors and together defend the pride with their lives.

Guardians also maintain peace and order within the lands and resolve issues between members, acting as a small scale justice system such. If there is an issue among the civilians or even among warriors, guardians will do their best to help and make difficult decisions.


Warrior
The pride's source of strength and leadership, the warriors protect and fight for the pride, ensuring the safety of their rainforest. To be a warrior is an honored and respected job that not everyone can perform. They are the students of the Masters and of life in general.

Civilians

Spirit Guide
These members of the pride are highly spiritual and help others attain personal balance and understanding of spiritual matters. They are commonly known to act as therapists. priests, counselors and healers of the spirit. Some of them are seers, and some of them simply have a stronger than usual connection to the spiritual realm.


Storyteller
These pride members uphold the history and oral tradition in the pride, they pass on the knowledge and history of the pride by telling elaborate stories about the important events and figures in their history to the youth and other members. This rank is sometimes passed down to cubs of storytellers depending on the family.


Healer
These are the midwives and general healers of the pride. These members also specialize in herbs and medicines and give aid to the sick and injured, they do their best to keep everyone healthy and happy.

Default Civilian Ranks

Sage
The default rank for adult females in the pride, they are well respected and generally watch over the cubs of the pride. Females are believed to have heightened senses and abilities and an innate sense of knowing beyond that of their male counterparts. Any sage can begin training to move into the warrior ranks at any point in her life.


Provider
The default rank for adult males in the pride, they are responsible for hunting, providing the pride with outside resources, and generally caring for the pride and making sure everyone has what they need.


Daughter
Female cubs & adolescents of the pride, they are expected to spend their time playing and learning from their elders.


Son
Male cubs & adolescents of the pride, they are expected to spend their time playing and learning from their elders, as they get older they begin to learn how to hunt.
