[PRP] Welcome... Back? (Faatina x Kamir)

As much as Faatina enjoyed being back in the Bahari lands, she sometimes found herself missing life as a rogue. The unpredictability of it all had been enjoyable, really - never knowing what was around the bend. In the Bahari everything had started to feel safe again. Familiar. Nothing was new, save for the few interactions she had with unfamiliar lions, but even those were infrequent. She needed something new. Which was why she had started wandering out, every once in a while, to the bordering lands. Just to explore a bit more.

The last time she'd been out this way, Faatina had joined a group of Kizingo'zaa and Bahari lions alike in search for some missing comes. She smiled at the memory of the mother reuniting with her lost sons and pressed on, further into the roguelands. Glancing around, she confirmed that nothing so exciting would be happening to her today. It was just a normal, routine day of adventuring. Or so she thought. Having not quite reunited with all of her family since she'd been back, it would come as no surprise that she wasn't the only one misplaced by the semi-recent disasters. But it would come as a surprise that they were still alive, and just around the corner.

It had been a long time since Kamir had seen the sea-side lands of the Bahari. The last he remembered of it, he'd been fleeing the tsunami. He'd run 'til he dropped from exhaustion, only to wake up confused and utterly lost. His wanderings seemed only to take him further away, but determination and persistent questioning of passers-by had finally brought him to jungle that maybe, almost, looked familiar.

Planting his rump, he pondered his next move as he took a breather. If he was getting close, he'd have to keep an eye out for guards...

Ruler of Everything

A passing breeze caught and blew over Faatina. Her head tilted and she lifted her nose. Something in the winds smelled familiar. This caused her paws, almost involuntarily, to switch their course, in an attempt to track down the source of the scent. It didn't take long for Faatina to stumble on what appeared to be a relative of hers. Not too surprising; she was pretty sure her lineage made up more than half of the population of the Bahari. But what was surprising was that they were out here in the roguelands. "Aren't you a little far from home?" Faatina called, smiling while she continued to pad forward. Hopefully that would make them turn around so she could figure out who it was.
