I recently bought a new tarot card set, in the store I was really into it, but now that I've brought it home I don't get the same "buzz" from it that I had in the store and I experience with my older deck. I thought it was weird and performed a simple cleansing but it didn't seem to help. Any suggestions on what could be going on or what could help is much appreciated.

Was that the first time you'd ever seen that deck, and/or have you been wanting it for a while?
Hmm...it may have been an impulse buy, which is why you can't feel anything. Having said that, maybe that was the deck trying to catch your attention, now all you have to do is work on it. As Angel suggested, do a couple of readings and see what happens.

Thanks for the advice, my older sister recommended the same things >~< After using the deck and carrying it with me I feel the familiar buzz again, like I made it my own I guess.
i would do several readings with it to get a good feel for the deck maybe try drawing a different card everyday looking at the imagery and the meaning before you decide for sure if its not for you and what others suggested sleeping with it under your pillow or leaving in moonlight/sunlight for a day and night sometimes i find useful if i'm find a deck tricky is sometimes talking to it especially oracle decks
