[PRP]Sisters make the best hunters -Sobala/Yimvelo/Kokuzalwa

Grinning, Sobala couldn’t keep still, pacing back and forth in front of the old lightening blasted tree they had agreed to meet at. It was their usual spot and her sister’s weren’t late, she was just early, as she tended to be, far too excited about their impending hunt to keep still or wait elsewhere in the pride.

Turning round in a tight circle as she struggled to catch sight of either of her two siblings, Sobala forced herself to plop down in the long grass, though she kept her head high and eyes scanning the horizon for any sign of her sisters.

"Don't injure each other before we hunt." Her voice called as she strode towards her two younger sisters. Bopping them both on the head Kokulzalwa, chided her youngest sister. "You know better."

Settling herself in to a comfortable sitting position the oldest sister gave a sigh, it was hard being the oldest sometimes, it was hard to be sensible all the time but she had to be, she had to protect her sisters. It was her job.

"There is a large herd a few miles out, wilder beast, zebra and antelope as well as a few straggling giraffes and half a dozen ostriches. What do you want to hunt?" She raised a curious brow, thus was always her first question and everyone would want something different as always, it was rare for her sisters to agree on what they fancied for dinner but she still always asked.

Sobala flicked her ear, patience had never been her strong point but the thought of their impending hunt at least provided a distraction. Too much of one as it turned out, as her youngest sister came flying out of the grass, sending both of them tumbling. Laughing aloud Sobala twisted, ending up on top as they slithered to a halt. “Yimve! Got you instead!” Smirking at her smaller sibling she gave her a wet lick playfully before their older sister’s voice called out to them. Chuckling at the familiar scolding she winked at Yimvelo and climbed off her sister, trotting over to Kokulzalwa and rubbing her head up under her elder sister’s chin affectionately. “It’s fine Koku.” Purring happily she twisted round, rubbing against her sister’s dark-furred side before stepping away.

Having greeted her siblings she tipped her head thoughtfully. “We haven’t tried Ostrich for a long time… “ Truly, Sobala didn’t mind what they hunted, but the idea of eating ostrich again appealed to her. They were tasty, and quite difficult to bring down.

The oldest female smiled at her two sisters. She could never stay mad at them for long, they were her younger sisters, it was her job to watch over them. She grooms Sobalas cheek as she brushes past and rolls her eyes. "I swear you two will be the death of me." She sighs in exasperation and nudges her head against her youngest sibling. "Stop pulling that face, you know I can't stay mad at either of you, you pair of reprobates." She laughs and takes a few steps away from them.

"Ostrich it is then." She picks up her paws, they had at least a short distance to travel before they found the herd they could walk and talk until they were upon the creatures.

Grinning at her eldest sibling's affectionate exasperation, Sobala purred loudly under the brief grooming before turning to pad after Koku, automatically falling in behind her. "You would miss opus of we weren't here.. " She replied with an easy laugh, jogging forwards in order to catch up with Koku and playfully bump shoulders. Glancing back at the youngest of them she grinned at Yimvelo, knowing she would be as excited as Sobala about hunting the large feathery beast.

Addressing both of her siblings the middle one grinned. "Any exciting gossip today?"

Kokulzawa gave a chuckle and shook her head. The oldest lioness shook her head “You shouldn’t believe all rumours Yimvelo.” DShe smiled lovingly at her two siblings. “Let’s get a move on or we will never bring anything home.”

The dark lioness broke in to a quiet run expecting her sisters to follow suit to the hunting grounds and their opportunity to take down an ostrich. The feathers would come in handy for one thing or another as well so it would be a doubly good hunt for the three sisters.
