Gold Mountain uses tokens to play Slots and Cards, renamed from Blackjack after complaints that it was too similar to real gambling. Tokens used to be bought from inside Gold Mountain by clicking on the building on the map for 1 gold for 1 token. However, when the token buying was incorporated into Prize & Joy, the ability to go inside the casino was lost.
A Brief History

June 10, 2005 the Gaia Casino was introduced through an announcement from former admin DARKNRGY. Slots and Prize & Joy were the first two elements of what eventually became Gold Mountain Casino that were added to the site, leaving Becky and Lex as the two original Casino employees.

A little under a year later, Cards (formally Blackjack) was introduced to the site on March 13th, 2006. The game presented us with three new Casino employees: Russell Ace, Jinx, and Cardbot.

After the redesign of the shop interface, the buying of tokens was moved from the Token Booth inside Gold Mountain to within Prize & Joy. It no longer even takes you to a separate page, instead having the typical pop up of any other item. This unfortunately left Lex without a job, such as Meredith before him when the trade page was redesigned.

On December 17, 2014, Lex took over management of Nicolae's shop Back Alley Bargains after Nicolae's failure to pay his taxes caused his wagon and horse to be repossessed to pay his “substantial” debt...of 40 million gold. The shop has been retrofit to sell grab bags for zOMG, GoFusion charms, and occasionally gold-to-Gaia Cash converters.

Jinx appeared in the 2007 Summer Event on the Isle de Gambino team with fellow islander Sasha. They used a giant catapult shaped like a shot glass that launched ice cubes. Isle de Gambino came in fourth place. emo

Becky served as the event announcer and announced score changes and prizes won.

The 2011 event Pie Hard featured all Gold Mountain employees, save Cardbot who does not possess a mouth, as contestants. The results were as follows:
Russell Ace=last place (I'm pretty sure I was the only one feeding him)
Lex was the next to be eliminated in the next round.
Jinx made it two more rounds before being knocked out of the running.
Becky managed to make it pretty far, being eliminated just two rounds out from the final 6.

”[NPC
Cindy Donovinh”]Vaguely sleazy casino dealer Russell Ace likewise had a hard time generating heat on the pie court; despite making every effort to cheat his way to victory, he'll be among the first to go.

”[NPC
Cindy Donovinh”]Despite his background as an amateur entertainer, Lex couldn't keep an audience interested in his campy pie showmanship.

”[NPC
Cindy Donovinh”]With Jinx out of the running, Gold Mountain's Pie Hard hopes are pinned entirely on Becky.

”[NPC
Cindy Donovinh”]Becky's fans kept her afloat for far longer than most of us expected, but she's finally been sent packing.
Manga
For being such a forgotten group, the Gold Mountain group has managed to have a fairly prolific life within the Mini-comics.
The first mini-comic appearance of the Gold Mountain crew was the comic Horsin' Around where Jinx asked Becky why she did not dress for Halloween.
The next appearance was made by Lex (and Becky in one panel) in the comic Gold Mountain After Hours showing Lex's secret life as an Elvis impersonator.
Following that one, was the comic The Beard Contest where it seems Lex's mirror universe twin was competing against Liam and Gino in the manly pursuit of beard growin', or trying to win a date with Josie, whichever. However, they were all trounced by Peyo with the most epic chin growth outside of a Tolkien dwarf.
Lex (are you starting to sense a pattern here, because I am) once again appeared in the winter comic FanservICE where he appeared in a very yaoi-esque panel at the end. That is one very lucky pole.
The Gold Mountain Basement not only boasted yet another appearance by Lex, but also the return of Ian after a lengthy bout in Witness Protection after he was shot.
The whole group made their comic debut in the comic LeXbox where they explained the story of the RIG of the same name.
The last (so far) appearance by the Gold Mountain crew is the comic where Lex officially took over Back Alley Bargains from Nicolae.
Relationships
So far, none of the Gold Mountain crew are in relationships, though it's hinted through Russell Ace's defeat dialogue that he may have a thing for Becky. Speculation abounds about the romantic leanings of the crew though there have been no official word on the subject.
Trivia
Becky's shop dialogue consists of three phrases, the same as they have been since 2005.
Cardbot is the only Gold Mountain employee to not posess a SDPlus doll.
Russell Ace, Jinx and Cardbot do not have NPC accounts.
