[ Fel Essence Submission ]
Fel Essence Name: Rebellious Mercury Description: This metallic element, also known as quicksilver, is the only known metal that is liquid under standard conditions for temperature and pressure. It is a poisonous chemical if ingested or inhaled but is used for a variety of equipment in our daily lives from thermometers to fluorescent lamps. While standard mercury will be in a liquid form at temperatures above −38 °F, anything colder will render it solid. This particular sample does quite the opposite, liquefying at low temperatures and solidifying when exposed to heat. Though mercury in its liquid form is especially buoyant, nothing is able to float along this essence's surface – it instantly swallows whatever material is introduced to it! It seems this has affected the mercury's ability to bond with other minerals, and instead of mixing with them it leaves objects corroded and decayed while in liquid form. Thankfully, it is rendered completely harmless in its solid state and is very easy to store at room temperature! Appearance: An isometric cube roughly the size of a fist sits undisturbed in its bottle. It is shiny and reflective, clear and smooth on all sides though its edges are a little rough. Something like this. Jar or Vial: Jar

Fel Essence Name: Unlucky Clover Description: Due to its rarity, a four-leaf clover has been long coveted as a symbol of good luck and fortune. It is estimated that there are 10,000 three-leaf clovers for every single four-leaf, though it's often said that the green hills of Ireland have the most four-leaf clovers on Earth. Keeping a lucky clover is thought to bring someone good fortune in love, wealth, and all ventures they attempt. However, not unlike the tale of the monkey's paw, this innocent looking shamrock brings nothing but ill will and misfortune to those who possess it. It always starts small, first they stub their toe, then get locked out of their car, next thing they know they broke their arm in three places from falling down a flight of stairs. It seems to draw the line at bodily harm, as no one who was unlucky enough to own it has met with a terrible fate. In fact, the clover almost seems merciful once its mischief is done as it goes missing and finds a new victim once it's through. With each touch of the clover, another unfortunate event occurs. Keeping it locked away is strongly advised. Appearance: Physically, there is no difference between this four-leaf clover and any other. It is small, green, and has four oblong leaves as well as a short stem. It may be a little dry and worn with age but it is no less vibrant and eye catching. Anyone would mistake this shamrock for the ultimate good luck charm. Jar or Vial: Vial

Fel Essence Name: Malleable Diamond Description: As a specific form of carbon and one of the hardest minerals in the world, diamond is prized in both jewelry and industry for its special properties. This shimmering pile of goop doesn’t look much, but closer analysis reveals that it is, in fact, a diamond. Acting more like putty than a precious stone this diamond can be stretched, squeezed, and molded in numerous ways – though it will always slump back into an indistinct lump, and interestingly, cannot be separated or cut in any way. Not quite what someone may have in mind for a diamond necklace, but at least it still sparkles in the sunlight. Appearance: When resting the diamond has a similar shape to molten glass or putty that has been left to sit for a while, somewhat like this (rounded edges, indistinct shape). Color wise, it is transparent with incursions of color (think the shape and numerous colors of diamond facets, but distributed randomly throughout the goop), and the colors shift depending on how light is hitting it (pretty much just super sparkly). Fel Essence Name: Androgenic Spearmint Description: The antiandrogenic properties in spearmint are known to reduce the levels of free testosterone in the blood, which helps stop excessive hair growth, such as in women who have conditions like hirsutism. However, this cluster of spearmint rapidly accelerates hair growth and makes the total amount of testosterone in the body rise dramatically, causing all sorts of physical and emotional changes. The most common effects are a sudden deepening of the voice, uncontrollable hair and muscle growth, rapid bone growth, and a very foul temper, but other things such as acne and increased strength have been reported. Appearance: A cluster of spearmint, possibly saturated in tea or water. It looks harmless. Jar or Vial: Vial
