Electrike clambered to it's feet, breathing heavily and glared at Trish and her Fennekin, who appeared to be just as winded as it was. It darted around with Quick Attack and, using it's speed to it's advantage, it climbed up a nearby wall and pushed off, canceling out it's attack and throwing up an electric cloak. It's Quick Spark came flying at Idina with great speed and force but the Fennekin was prepared thanks to her previous uses of permanent speed increasing moves. She took a few quick steps and when Electrike hit the ground, it crashed face-first and flipped over, landing prostrate on the ground, facing Idina.

"No mercy, Idina. Not right now. Hit it with Psyshock." Trish said preparing another Safari Ball. Idina nodded and did as she was told, striking Electrik with the psionic bullet. It's body spasmed as the pain shot through it but otherwise remained motionless. Trish walked over and tapped it with the Ball, hoping to contain it now.

Electrike was drawn in and the ball shook violently in the girl's hand for all of half a second before it's captive simply gave up entirely and it pinged. Electrike had given it's all and had nothing left to fight with for now.

As the girl returned to the main entrance to wait for the other contestants to finish up she failed to see the three other, much smaller Electrike watching her from the nest the one she'd caught was protecting. Or the Manectric slowly creeping up to it, She should hope she never comes back to this area again. There will likely be a Pokemon Mafia out to get her next time they see her face.

Finally, after innumerable twisting corridors, Isaac's persistence finally paid off. The final hallway opened up to reveal the main generator room. Large turbines connected through massive cables dominated the center of the expanse, with smaller cables crawling throughout the room. For the first time, there were just as many wires and cables threading their way throughout the area as there was evidence of invading flora.

Isaac was momentarily overwhelmed by the expanse of technology arrayed before him, before he was yanked backwards by the straps of his backpack. Caught completely by surprise, Isaac flailed wildly a he crashed to the floor. Slipping free of the straps, Isaac grabbed a Pokeball from his pocket. Whirling around, he hurled towards his bag with an accompanying shout, "Head Smash!" The emerging Aron careened into the thing mauling his backpack. As the two Pokemon violently collided, Isaac realized that the Pokemon tearing through his bag was in fact a Mawile.

"Uh oh," he muttered, realizing too late what was inevitable. The larger mouth released the backpack before chomping down on Angron with a Crunch. Lifting the smaller Pokemon in the air, the Mawile flung Aron back towards Isaac. Rushing forward with a muttered curse, Isaac knelt down next to his Pokemon and help him to his feet. "You alright?" he asked, recieving a quick nod in return.

The pair returned their attention to the offending Mawile, who had finished tearing through his backpack, and was now tearing into the sandwiches it had retrieved from within. "That's it." Isaac growled, loosing patience along with his lunch. "Bulldoze it," he ground out from between clenched teeth. As Angron began to charge towards the feasting Pokemon, Isaac reached into another pocket, retrieving an empty Great Ball. As the two Pokemon collided in a cloud of dirt, floor tiles, and backpack remains, he hurled the ball into the fray.

As the dust and debris could dissipated, Isaac noticed with annoyance that the Great Ball had failed to hold the Mawile. The wild steel and fairy type was looking around in confusion, presumably looking for the source of the ball that was thrown. Quickly, it spotted Isaac, just in time for him to toss another Great ball at it.

The Great ball rocked gently a few times, before coming to a rest, its prize contained safely inside. Tucking the ball into another pocket, Isaac rummaged around in the remains of his backpack, retrieving the last uneaten sandwich. Giving it to Angron as a reward, along with a few pats of approval, Isaac returned to examining the dilapidated generators that were likely to become a new project of his.
