Professor Cedar:
How did this begin? I can recall it as a day when a young trainer named Iggy walked into my lab. Just like all who come to this lab this boy had an ambition to be a hybrid trainer. So much is different in this land of Hyto. This land is different than all the other regions for one reason, bursting! Bursting is the ability to use an item called a burst heart to temporarily fuse with your pokemon. This puts a huge strain on the body so usually the max number of pokemon a person can burst with is three. The pokemon in this land are so vast, that no pokedex can record the number of them. The pokemon casually mutate into other breeds here, not to say that one species will grow extinct, but new species are made every day. This land of Hyto is completely blocked off from other regions and is forgotten by them. The job of the professor is to monitor and record every new species that comes up. Although the events in this land made a sudden change the day that boy came into the land.
Iggy had known me since he moved next door to me in my home town. I was still a very busy scientist but he decided to help with the lab. In doing so this boy discovered the legendary pokemon I had been researching. The name of this legend was Frostel the Deity of Ice. It came to the day in which he came to select his pokemon only having one thing in mind, discovering and protecting Frostel from an evil organization. I had never mentioned the organization GRASS to him but somehow he already knew.
I presented him the starters
Choleaf/Grass Stamber/Fire Frish/Water
He chose the Stamber as his partner and I had him fill out paper work. Catching him by surprise when he opened the pokeball, I pushed a burst heart into his back and he fuse with Stamber. Secretly I also injected Frostel's blood into his body. He noticed the injection but proceeded to be astounded with the burst. When time came, I taught him to stop the burst himself and he set out on his journey. The paperwork he signed was for access to insurance and pokemon centers. I gave him a set of three burst hearts and 10 pokeballs. I warned him not to try to mess wit GRASS but fate has it's turns.
This trainer had an odd gift for pokemon willingly joining him. They few pokemon he caught were quickly added to the pokemon list on the Pokenav. Although this trainer's ability had a bad side-effect. His own thoughts would influence the bursting desires with the pokemon and they would try to fuse permanently with him. Although this incident didn't take place till later.
Iggy approached the first gym with ease, maybe too much, and met this gym leader. The gym leader would never say his name but had a long beard to make up for it. (huffnut)
This leader is famous for his tastes and sits upon a tall throne that dares to break the roof. His throne being equipped with all sorts of gadgets. His gym's name sported what the man had, it was called The Gym of Facial Hair. Such as the gym with it's fine standard of hair.
The day came quickly when Iggy faced the gym leader. The leader immediately jumped out of his throne and fused with his pokemon Fthululu a water and fighting type.
Among the high standards of hair is what cleanses them such being a water gym. With the removal of his cloak he brough a tough look onto Iggy. Quickly the leader forced Iggy into a corner being that water had a strength over fire. Iggy was left with one stategy, to use those moves that were normal type and land them at the right times. He finally knocked the burst between the Gym leader and pokemon apart and claimed the badge. The badge held the move Vital Throw. The gym leader left him with his words of wisdom as a parting.
Believe in the Beard!
Beginning that night was this strange start of dreams for Iggy and the movement of an Evil organization in the background. Dreams of Frostel started to appear before Iggy, all of these he reported to the professor. The dreams showed some great battle as the professor buried inder paperwork took note of this. Upon news of the opposing team being GRASS, the professor could not wait no longer. He pulled out his pokemon left in secret Lacry.
The professor called the first gym leader with urgency to begin training once more. During this time Iggy went catching other pokemon breaking the number of pokemon he can burst with. He decided to visit to the lab. The first Gym leader answered upon the message left and openned up the back of his gym. His throne was mobile and powered by some sort of energy unknown. Iggy had arrived first at the lab. After a day long wait, the throne finally arrived at the lab. It's tall majesty towering into the sky. Although during the wait, Iggy brought up GRASS again. I had turned to scold Iggy this time as he stated that he was going to sneak into one of their bases. In the time, the little Stamber beside him saw his determination and started to evolve.
Padleaf Grass/Flambes Fire Ground/Frolish Water
The pokemon beside me Lacry was a Ghost/Normal type and for now was tolerating Iggy being near.
The four of us waited outside until the towering throne did arrive. No (as what we call him at times) appologised and jumped down from his massive throne. We walked to behind the pokemon center. Lacry was eager to see the pokemon that No had hid for so long, much as it had been a while since I saw No. Iggy in losing all atention suddenly lost control of his Flambes as it bursted with him. He suddenly was unable to de-burst and Lacry stepped up. The Ghost like pokemon jumped into Iggy and tore the connection apart while talking some sense into flambes. Although Lacry was impatient and wanted to battle an old friend. No released his Garvedence (dark/fighting)
With hellos said by each pokemon we both bursted and began the battle. It was instantly an intense battle as we introduced fusion moves. The battle ran on for a while and meanwhile Iggy became bored of learning from us and set out for his original plan. Iggy was planning to find a ghost pokemon to spy on GRASS. In doing so he found a hurt whispine and interrupted the battle with his pleas to help it. The professor had no choice but to use his once a battle ability to heal the pokemon. With the loss of the ability, the battle slowly became one sided as No crushed the ground under the professor. The professor and Lacry were buried under rubble, being hurt. After some rest and healing we parted ways. Iggy off to his journey and the professor and No to the gym to fix up some lighting for his throne. The gym leader had already gone ahead and the professor walked alone. This was a mistake.
GRASS began their attacks
A few of the grunts knock out and capture the exhausted professor and drag him away to one of their labs. In three days time Iggy had come to No asking if I had visited the gym. No had said that he hasn't and mentioned that professors can take care of themselves. The professor wake up in a lab chained to a table, not to long before his pokemon Lacry comes in and releases him. The professor goes into the base for an attack. In doing so an explosion is heard in the town of the first gym. An opening crumbles as attacks of all kinds poor out of it. The bursted professor flies out with several injuries and lands in the town. The town is soon evacuated as GRASS starts their march. The people in the white and green uniforms organizing.
Time passed and repairs and medical emergencies hit an end, but Iggy was another case. Somehow he was slowly turning into a Frostel Hybrid. In the mess, the second gym leader wakes up in a mess of a destroyed lab. He woke up in pain from destroying the lab the previous night and went back to his gym. Iggy went to this growing a prosperous town famous for it's hybrid training centers and spent the night in a pokemon center. The professor was still in pain from his injuries and walked to that center without the others' knowing. The professor asks for himself and his pokemon to be healed. During that night in the gym, the gym leader mutters something about hyto's dark past..
...What have you Done! you cant juts throw loved away like this! *he shakes his head * if you don't stop this cloning and testing... i will see to it that this lab is destroyed...even if i have to do it my self!
The next morning Zero is woken up by the sound of a challenger and prepares himself for battle, unknowingly to others without a burst heart. His appearance close to that of a Zorua.
Answering with riddles to determine the challenger's heart, he starts the battle. The leader holds something back in the entire battle as he shifts into two forms. Iggy uses the different pokemon he has to take advantage of types but finds no avail. The battle was drawn out with the use of healing to suppress the de-bursting of losing. (even though Zero couldn't deburst) In the end it was Zero's Giga impact that turned the tides. Losing damage to recoild and not doing enough himself he gets thrown back by Iggy's final blow. Zerox almost disappears in a mist, leaving his custom pokeball in his place. A shadowy figure lures Iggy to the back of the gym and presents the badge. Iggy does not notice that this back room was no less a lab and that the custom ball was put into a machine to analyse data. He removes the shroud as Iggy leaves and he pulls his pokeball from the machine. He mentions to Iggy that he should get the blue scales on his body checked. News of Zero's defeat reaches the other gym leaders. Zero records Iggy's data and his into a computer and decides to leave the gym for a while. In the mean time, the professor waits outside the gym for Zero. They meet and converse many things in secret. The professor goes back to the lab as Iggy was training to see tables covered in dust and his pokenav with a message. Iggy stops by the lab the next day for a physicial and blood test. Suddenly and expectantly Zero knocks on the lab door and I rush out of the basement to check on everyone. In the mess of things a girly voice appears of that who was expected today. N (female) has appeared
N overheard the need of a blood test and mistook that as her having to. N sat down in the examining chair expecting to be punctured by a needle. She met up with Iggy while waiting and conversed with him. I jumped out and waved my hands in panic as I explained that the blood work was for Iggy. N heard this and instantly jumped up in relief as I noticed that Iggy's Pokemon evolved into it's third form.
Leafroon Grass Dragon/ Flamguard Fire Ground/ Washu Water Fighting
Zerox was growing concerned about Iggy's change as the professor let N choose her starter. She chose Choleaf and instantly the pokemon tucked itself into her shirt, popping her head out of the collar. N decided to name the choleaf Teacup and the professor handed her the burst hearts and pokeballs. She filled out the paperwork rather easily. The professor then gave her a pokenav to record all pokemon she finds. The professor turned to Iggy and told him to lay on the table as he started to explain Iggy's condition to Zero. N went out and easily formed a bond with Teacup. The went to train and Teacup went up to around lv.15 and after it all N went home with Teacup and prepared for the end of the day. The professor drew Iggy's blood to start the blood work and set him off again. Zero put his custom pokeball on the table and went inside it, informing that he was there if needed. That night N had a strange dream like Iggy's earlier ones but different
"Huh...where am I?" I muttered, looking around. It was somehow a greyish scene with fog, causing me to unable to look around. "Whats going on?" Suddenly two roars echoed in unison, causing me to jump. At my right side, a silhouette of black with red eyes while at the left is a white silhouette with blue eyes, and both of them seemed to stare at me. "Who are you two-I mean what?" I stuttered, wide eyed. "You do not need to know who are we." The creature at the left spoke. "You will find us." The right one added, lifting the head. "Or we will find you." Both of them spoke, before my sights turned hazy.
That morning N set out to train again and Iggy set out to meet her. No wandered around the region only his destination in his mind. N and Iggy set out to the first gym and along the routes, N bursted with teacup for the first time. The sudden burst surprised N as she slipped out of her clothes just barely (it's not like you turn into the pokemon it's more half-half). Quickly N got used to burst battling rather easily. N imediately evolved Teacup after while still in burst. After slipping on her clothes while in burst, she called the professor wondering about the evolution. In the wait as the professor suffered several more accidents in the lab, N noticed a large white object fly over her. The pokenav cut off and they continued to train while walking along the path. After a long time, they finally reached the town of the first Gym, thanks to N going to get a brochure, they pointed out that the place is called Steamgreen town. A sudden ring of N's pokenav made N answer. The professor explained the evolved form and how bursting works. He also informed that Iggy's results were done. Iggy imediatelly left for the lab, leaving N to go to the gym. N entered the gym finding that No had left the gym abandoned. N went off to get supplies for the following journey before being attacked by people. N was knocked out unconscious and dragged away by GRASS. Teacup gave chase to the culprits and only was able to recover the pokenav. Iggy had noticed N's kidnapping and chased to recover N. Teacup followed Iggy to a lab where N was tied down. GRASS imediately responded but to no avail. Iggy, Flamguard, and Teacup got N out of the lab. N was marked by GRASS and explained that something in the lab was calling him. N wondered why GRASS kidnapped him and not Iggy due to Frostel's blood. They escaped back toward the lab, in which Iggy burned GRASS's tattoo off N's arm. They banged on the door with N in pain.
The professor opened the door and rushed them inside. The professor found his assumption of N being special to be correct. The professor provided medicine for Iggy to hide the Frostel scales and gave N a set of pictures outlining a black and a white set of objects in the sky at different times. N went on about talking to these two figures and before long N brought out an ancient legend of Hyto
Two dragons that appears at the opposite times...say it's to balance the nature of day and night. The balance is needed for two jewels guarded by them to be in full power in order to seal a being that once almost destroyed Hyto Region.

After long talk of ancient Hyto, it was decided why N was important. N's family was one of the last of Hytians. Although there was question as to why Hyto was left abandoned long ago. The professor knew of why and Hyto's dark past came out
It was forty years ago in Hyto....
The land was abandoned, of which no one knew what happened... Pokemon like your starters walked around in this vast land, undisturbed by humans. It was peaceful and left secret from other regions. One day, a group came into the region and settled the first foundation in Hyto. Along with these people, were burst hearts. Burst hearts at this time were still in their ancient form. The pokemon were trapped in these crystals and were forced to fuse with those who owned them. Once a burst heart was broken though, it could not be remade and the pokemon was set free. As the records say, one person in particular had captured one of Hyto's pokemon. He slowly formed a bond with this pokemon and one day, he was stuck against a horde of pokemon. He was going to use his burst heart to battle them, not wanting to hurt his friend. His pokemon forced it's way out of the pokeball and touched the burst heart. For some reason the pokemon inside was released and the person fused with his Hyto pokemon. He experienced greater power in bursts than before and once he stopped the burst, he thought his friend would be trapped in the crystal. To his surprise his friend was sitting at his feet...
That's when Hyto changed. By that time towns were being build and an organization called GRASS was peacefully exploring and learning about the land. They're efforts found that burst hearts grew in caves under this region. Caves that chilled you to the bone. The scientists soon found a way to modify burst hearts so pokemon and human can live peacefully and independently. The pokemon were no longer caged in crystals and the relationships eased between burst trainers and pokemon....
One day in exploration of the caves, they wondered to the center of the region. There, they met a dragon of ice that had the powers of a Deity. He was able to change the form of whatever pokemon he wished into a new breed. Frostel was not kindly taken to being found and attacked the explorers. In their struggle they managed to capture, not in pokeball, Frostel. Frostel eventually found it's way to GRASS's labs. They did horrible experiments when they found the cause of the burst hearts was him. In doing so... they released a virus... an airborne virus that only affected pokemon.. It was made from Frostel and quickly swept the land, causing all of the pokemon to mutate and each generation, forming a new breed. GRASS's efforts were stopped by a lab explosion made by some sort of great power. Frostel fled and continues to flee from GRASS today. Since then GRASS abandoned as the main government to go underground. They conduct strange and horrible experiments and constantly try to find ways to make themselves stronger....
This has been in secret for a long time, all officials have a duty to stop them, but some of GRASS ave gone too far. They turned themselves and others into monsters already. Hybrids as you call them, but not like Iggy. These people have taken away pokemon's lives by permanently fusing with them. Their lust for power has made them chase down the legends of the region. They won't stop trying to evolve themselves and by doing so have polluted this land. Arceus is even in disgust and has no intervention with this land. He has left it to Frostel to fix the problems that were made from him. This land is cursed and forgotten by it's creator....
N was left unfazed by this as somehow his family had predicted it.
As if the tension wasn't enough, Zero who's pokeball was still in the table had an accident. His custom ball rolled out and hit the ground with a thud. Immediately green sparks exploded from the ball. The professor jumped and ran to the pokeball. He put it inside the machine and tried to forcibly hack the safe-release. The pokeball opened just enough for an injured and electrocuted Zero to escape.
N went off as this incident happened to investigate the black dragon. Knowing the route she got to the town in only a few hours. When she checked the lab that was near the gym it had been cleaned and left vacant. She was then greeted by a GRASS professor as grunts filled the room to capture her. The roof suddenly exploded with white flames and something snatched N and Teacup away. N was knocked out by the rubble that fell.
During this event the professor bursted with Lacry and flew off to bring Zero to a pokemon center. He flew to the closest center and submitted Zero to it, making sure his files would be deleted. He left Iggy behind to chase after N. The professor stayed there the night waiting for Zero to be healed.
N woke up on a bed with a bed made of grass for Teacup beside her. A blond haired office working man looked at her and announced that she was saved from GRASS and not just by anything but the white dragon in it's nest of trees, Shiravern. The man told her that the legend to the side would fill her in.
Iggy saw the white dragon take away N but had no other choice but to continue his journey, hoping N was safe.
No in the meantime has come across a silhouette and is pondering what to do about it.
Iggy approached the third gym in Ferium to challenge the gym leader Lucifer. Lucifer stood above the town watching it until the notice of Iggy to the gym. He looked down to Iggy in surprise and revealled his real name Saburo, he threw his first pokeball down from above and bursted with his first pokemon, only to land in front of Iggy to battle. The steel-type leader's first pokemon was too slow and was knocked out immediately. His second was much faster and gave Iggy a hard time. Almost at the end of the battle, the roof suddenly caved in as Grass grunts poured into the gym. Saburo de-bursted and went to Iggy's side. He asked him to pull out a burst heart and to trust him. Iggy bursted with Saburo(Lucifer) and began to fight GRASS.
In the meantime No returned from his journeys back to the gym. Apparently he handled his earlier situation.
Zero woke up in the Center with the professor waiting for him
Back to the battle is when it got grave. Saburo revealled that he was a pokemon and a legend to add when he bursted with Iggy. He would not explain why he could burst with others but fought as one with Iggy against GRASS. Although Iggy's heart was clouded with too many questions and the burst ended abruptly. GRASS separated Iggy from Saburo as the legend fought against the grunts that filled his gym. GRASS knocked Iggy out and left his belonging behind as they helicoptered him away. The legend almost destroyed the gym befor finally knocking out all the grunts. He returned to human form in regret as authorities arrived to capture the members of GRASS.
Now our story continues. What's going to happen next?
