Apparently Gaia has a lease that tektek is violating some terms which look like a copy right even it was shared and created by someone who works for another site called color.me
To be clear, Gaiaonline does not own tektek.
Because of this, tektek has been shut down (as in the same unplug they gave to zomg)

So yea.... we cannot tektek to make avis.... we have to manually make them on here.....

Gaians are gonna be so pissed at this.
I understand why Gaia sent this letter and asked them to stop
However, It's not like tektek used Gaia to make profits.

Tektek is a 0 profit site and all
but the fact that gaia did not own it is what caused it to go down
and already gaians are pissed about this (well mostly about making their avis).
Im more piss that they did not own something so simple to begin with... xp
There is some controversy about gaia making a tektek like feature but lets get real.
They cant even make the search tab easier when trying to find the damn beyond series (like beyond brown) XP
If they cant fix that then they cant fix s**t lol

Welp, the only thing that Gaia is gonna get from this big drama is a hord of angry people.
Hopefully they'll work out some sort of tektek feature, like you said. :c

A feature to replace the loss would be nice, but if they were really going to don't you guys think they would have shut it down sooner...? I can't help but wonder if they hoped it wouldn't be an issue and then decided that it was after so many people became horridly dependent on it's search options.
