With wings stretched wide, Dolly soared above the land, blonde mane and tail whipping in the wind. This, this was freedom, her mind usually laden down with heavy thoughts was empty and a heart that usually hurt was currently beating with exhilaration and joy.
She swooped and doze, doing large loose barrel rolls and occasional loop d loops.
But she couldn't stay aloft forever, her lungs were straining and her wings were burning. She looked around with large brown eyes, she seemed to have landed in the open prairie. Tan grass tickled at her fetlocks
Banking slowly, wings flared to catch as much drag as she could, Dolly arched towards the hard earth bellow. Her hooves touched down with a heavy thump, and the steel balls on her rawhide bracelet jingled together. "Whell, I haven't been here in awhile." she spoke with a bright sing song-y voice that had a slight southern twang.
She sighed softly and folded her wings against her side before moving along, searching for .. something ... but she didn't know what.
