I've gotten thoroughly hooked on Alpha Sapphire!
Which is funny because I've played the original Sapphire on the GBA lolol

Just finished X and got Omega Ruby as an early Christmas present, so I just started that yesterday. :3 I never played Ruby or Sapphire, it's the one generation I skipped, so it's all new to me.

Ruby and Sapphire are 3rd gen, so they're the first ones to come out on the GBA.
Then because it was so WILDLY popular (colors! animations! OMFG!!) they remade Red and Blue for the GBA i.e. FireRed and LeafGreen.
And then the irony is that they now took the old GBA gen (Ruby/Sapphire) and remade them to the latest gen i.e. 3DS lolol

I have Pokémon X as well, but I haven't finished it. XD
Mostly because I can't be arsed to go fight Team Rock- er... Team ********, who can keep track at this point... |P)
I also haven't beat the first gym in Alpha Sapphire yet because I've been puttering around with the poké-radar.
I managed to find a Poochyena that knows Fire Fang!
The one I have in my team knows Ice Fang. Pretty sweet.
