Demon Names
This is a list of taken demon names. WE HAVE STARTED OVER. If you were part of the Aikanaro'hini and would like to rejoin it as the Aegnor'hini, there is a chance the demon name from before is taken! We're happy to work with you on an IC reason as to why their demon name may have changed! If it isn't taken? Then of course no figuring out needs done.
Aside from grandfathered demon names that do not fit the mold and certain plot/cosplay-related exceptions, demon names will all be in Latin, or be names of demons/devils/youkai/dark gods/etc. known in fiction or demonology. Please provide a source if not Latin! Dark gods/spirits/creatures MUST be something associated with evil or 'dark' ideas: lust, sacrifice, night, the underworld, etc. Gods such as Thor, Zeus, or Ishtar don't quite fit the bill, but Lorelei [a siren who lured people to their doom], Nyx [a goddess of the night], or Jinn [an evil spirit from Middle Eastern culture] do fit the bill!
Demon names with a '-' between two parts generally indicate that the member is believed to have two demonic souls within them. These are rare cases, and will be approved on a case-by-case basis. As such, the parts of their names are not available to be used singularly, HOWEVER can still be used as part of a longer demon name.
