For some reason, call it a feeling in her gut, Xibalba was worried. There was a sense of impending doom, perhaps it had something to do with her meeting the god of hatred, or perhaps it was something she had not seen or even done yet. All she knew was that Maya was still out there and her horrible sister was not dead yet. That needed to change. But if these feelings were true, that something was going to happen to her...she needed to make sure that her desire would be carried on.
She knew she was over-reacting by calling Nepenthes, one god that had agreed to help her slay her sister, to the Haven. All time had been lost to her while she had been up on the mountain's peak. Had it been hours, days, weeks...even months since she had sent that bird while still down on the mortal plane to find him, find him and tell him to come here. Of course said bird could not accompany the large and lumbering god, just as no mortal can. Still, Xibalba found herself pacing back and forth. All of her children had vanished from her side, even the one she had snatched on the outskirts of the Pridelands. Well...all but one, her one faithful daughter. All others though, the ones she had deemed weak, inefficient and troublesome. Those were the ones she had left elsewhere to fend for themselves.
