I found it's better to post in here, firstly, because this isn't so dead place like other photoguilds and secondly, every post won't be.

User Image
(This is the only photo, what I have left about this picture, so don't get mad about the size of it. :/ )

Critigue is welcome, eventhought I know that the lower picture is little bit too ...grey and depressing (and it's just don't give anything to the viewer .___. ) and the upper has that overlighted corner and some little "mistakes" on the front. :3
Both are from last autumn.

I love the sepia in the first one, it's beautiful yet simple.

I agree with what page said about the second one.

I really like the sepia in the first one also, and I usually hate sepia. It's very fitting for this photo though. If I had to say anything about critical about this photo, I think the sky in the background creates a really abrupt line, thats really startling. Excellent depth of field though, and everything else is really nice in terms of exposure. Very nice for a still life / plant.

Edit: I realized after looking it for a while that a sepia might not have been put on the photo. Still, the color balance is nice although you could add a bit more blue in it to make the background less harsh. It looks too warm and overexposed back there.

I really quite like them both. The grayness of the second doesn't bother me at all.

I'm not really able to criticize photographic technique, but I do like the depth of field use and the overall tone in both.

It really is too bad that you don't have a larger version of #2. It's quite nice.
