User Image When Luci was first pregnant with their first litter. Kowab was more than just over protective. He went obsessiveness with her care and protection. Much to the annoyance of his mate. But now that he got the hang of being a father, in which he would have never dreamed of being blessed with becoming. They found themselves pregnant again. This time- he was ready and gave his wife space but still doted on her. He was a scribe in their pride and now with the downfall of the pride, he kept them strong as a family unit. This time, this litter- he found them quite out numbered but thankfully their first litter ( some ) decided to stay and help take care of them.

Today, he had sent them to school. With the downfall of the pride, without those who left- those who stayed had to change professions in order to keep who was left united. Ebio'Femi, their grand aunt was their teacher. He had missed his children ALL DAY. Last night, he had even stayed up all night to find each other them their 'own' stars.. Yes. He was an astrologist of sorts. A grin painted ear to ear as he arrived at the foot of the temple opening to pick them up. After a few moments, he started to see the small hoard of cubs flying down. Their parents picking them up while he patiently waited for his to come out.

"My kin- my children~" He sighed happily. Fixing his 'glasses' as he waited.

User Image Like mother, Lucrecia already had males coming up to her and trying to sly their way in to her heart but she was far from knowing what they were really up to. She instead, was focused on her grand-aunt Ebio speaking of their pride's history. Ebio's history lesson was about The Goddess of Confusion and her story.. but ended with her having cubs with the God of Youth..He must have been a cool dad, heck he sounded super awsome!

She wondered if that was how father was with mother. How they interacted vs the way she saw some parents interact was much different. He wasn't at all interesting while mother seemed so strong and so much cooler. Father... was overwhelmingly nerdy.. how could he have ever won their mother's heart! He was so.. lame! When he would come pick them up, she was certainly the most embarrassed of the litter to have Kowab as a father. Although he was big- he was such a push over. As soon as she took a step out, she had hoped mother had picked them up.. but much to her disappointment. It was their dad. Ears flattened against her skull. "Hmph..." She pouted as she stood near the vases of the opening.. not daring to be the first one to run to father.

Whilst Ket-t found the lesson interesting it was hard to keep her attention on it. The young cub would much rather have been out playing. She gave a mighty yawn and shook her head to keep awake. The lesson she found was a bit hard to follow, confusing even. Maybe that was to be expected with the Goddess of Confusion?

She stretched when the lesson was over and followed her siblings out. "Don't act like that," Ket-t said mildly to her sister as she passed. She waved her blue tail at the lighter cub. The young female strolled down the steps as though she was the only one on them and other cubs weren't racing by.

"Daddy!" Panya called upon exiting the temple school. She couldn't help the desire to run up to him excitedly. After all, she hadn't seen his giant frame or heard his voice since the lesson had started. Granted, she would have acted as equally excited if it had been their mother to show up.

The fact was Panya had started to miss their parents, even when they hadn't been away for all THAT long.

"Daddy! Daddy!" She continued to call excitedly. "We learned about the goddess of confusion today! Did you know she... um... had cubs with... the um.. . God of Youth!"

Khayri was right on his sister's tails when leaving the temple. During their lesson he had a tough time paying attention. He had been fidgety, impatiently waiting for when they could leave the temple. It wasn't a boring lesson, he actually thought it was pretty interesting, but he would have rather been able to run around instead.

He ran up to his father and stopped right in front of him, a huge grin on his face. “We learned a lot today Dad! I think it would be fun to meet a goddess, or a god.” He imagined playing games with a god and how good they would be at playing games. “It would be neat if there were still gods in the area. We could meet them and play lots and lots of games.”

User Image Joy took the giant over as he saw his blood come down the steps of the temple, he couldn't have been more proud and blessed to be a father. "Oh the Goddess of confusion - I see...?" Looking down at his son and daughter that made it to him.. Then he looked up for the rest of them and wondered why his daughter was standing at the door way still.. Sluggish looking. Maybe a bad day at school?

"I was there when they had their cubs- But I just came to visit once in a while.. Didn't get to meet them all too much." Nodding softly as he awaited the rest. Looking at his son, he could see his playful side in him. "The Gods' daughter from what I remember loved to play games.. well I guess it could be because she was the goddess of playfulness." He laughed whole heartedly. Giving a nuzzle to Panya. "She did- she did." Just as interested in knowing what they had learned but more so how they reacted to it.

"So does anyone want to become a historian like their grand aunt?"

User Image When her sister called her out, she gave her a look of distain. If he wasn't so lame- she would have been acting like the rest of her siblings. Of course, that wasn't the case. "Why did HE have to pick us up." Slowly trailing behind her sister.. Sluggishly.

Seeing her brother race past her and then her other sister. "Where is our older brother or sisters when you need them. Heck, even they would have been better." Finally getting up to their father but staying a safe enough distance to show that she was ready to go- yet not so close to be 'happy' she was there. "Where's Mom." It wasn't even a question by this point.

She rolled her eyes and shook her head. Ket-t didn't understand her sister's problem with their father. "What's wrong with him picking us up?" The dark female wondered if an extra cub had been added to the litter at their birth.

Ket-t finished her dignified decent down the steps in time to hear their father's question. "Mmmm, no I don't think its right for me." History was interesting most of the time, but not that interesting. She watched two of her other siblings go racing past. The talk of gods and playing with gods sounded interesting. "Wouldn't a god have something more interesting to do than play with cubs?"

The female graced her reluctant sister with a scathing look for her statement. Maybe the teacher should go over manors next lesson. Ket-t distanced herself from Lucrecia to show her disapproval. "What are we going to do now? I want to run or hunting lessons." Much better than sitting on a temple floor getting cold rumps.

"Maybe... Maybe not Daddy.." Panya told her father in response to his asking of her career choice. "It's fun to learn, but it's um... Confusing." Confusing indeed, the facts she had learned spun around Panya's head like a web as a spider weaved it. She was struggling to keep her new knowledge straight, and the lesson faded quicker and quicker with each passing minute. After all, her attention was shifting constantly.

"Gods need to play too, don't they?" Panya asked. "Otherwise they'd be bored all the time!" Panya couldn't imagine a world without play. Play just seemed so natural to her at the age she was. On the topic of play, the words "Let's play tag!" Slipped from Panya's mouth. As she suggested it she gave a light smile and bumped Khayri' shoulder with her paw. "You're it!"
