Most of the manor's residents turned in for the night after an especially taxing day. Yet despite having quite a day of their own, Terra and Aeris remained at the dinner table. There they sat, silently, as they contemplated everything that was going on around them. Knowing that Barton's fate rested in their hands, among a few others, placed the weight of the world on their shoulders. Neither of them really felt ready to deal with all of this, not even the normally confident Terra. How were they supposed to deal with the doppelgangers outside, let alone the greater threat in the town, when they still haven't even figured out how to transform? They certainly didn't want to feel like deadweight to the others, but how were they supposed to help out? The two shot each other an anxious look; they were feeling rather hopeless right now.
It was at that moment that conflict erupted just outside the manor walls, and a series of loud crashes startled those still awake. Before the two could really even process what was going on, Prim suddenly rose from her seat and spoke briefly, but with great urgency. And while things certainly did feel hopeless at first for Terra and Aeris, Prim's few words managed to put things in perspective. The situation would only feel even more hopeless if they just sat by and did nothing. It wasn't long after she stood up before Prim bolted out the door to face the new threat, an action that caught Terra and Aeris off guard.
"Where is she going? Is she outta her mind!? She can't face them by herself!" Terra exclaimed, giving Aeris a look of concern.
"No, she cannot. But she took it upon herself to lead the charge. The very least we can do is back her up. I will do whatever I must to protect my town!" Aeris replied. She gave her companion a look of reassurance and extended her hand out, knowing full well what they had to do next.
Terra shrugged off whatever doubt remained in her mind and took Aeris' hand, and the two bolted out the front door. As the two stood behind Prim, a sudden surge of energy began coursing through their bodies simultaneously. The ground beneath their feet began to tremble, and a gust of wind blew in from behind. At last the secret to their transformation has been unlocked; in a bright flash, the forces of earth and sky were reborn in Terra and Aeris.
"Whoa! So that's how it works, huh?" commented an awe-struck Terra. The orange-haired teen found herself carrying a massive hammer in her hands that appeared to be made of molten rock, while her teal-haired companion wielded a distinctive, curved blade.
"We are right behind you, Prim!"

Aylin ran across the soft manicured grass of the manor grounds her bare feet barely registering a sound against the carpet of grass. The pixie warrior was fairly well versed in the art of stealth having learned the tactic during her years in the military. And while she was no expert by any means Aylin knew enough to be effective enough with her stealth attacks when combined with her sword skills. The only sign the experienced warrior had been heading towards the ensuing battle was the soft glow of the trusty sphere of light that served both as light source and weapon.
Aylin knew from her last battle with the Dopples that her sword would prove ineffective against the water based creatures. However, she knew a more solid being had been causing the noise at the gates that had the remainder of the manor guests, most notably Prim, in such a frantic state. The sword in Aylin's hand would be useful should she find herself going against the individual that broke the evening's silence. However, that fight was not to be hers that night as out of the corer of her eyes Aylin saw the young man called Leif engaged in single combat with the source of the night's disturbance. Her focus was now directed at the task at hand, dealing with Dopples still standing watch over the gate.
As she neared the gate in what looked like a blur to the human eye Aylin leaped high into the air sending her sphere of light in her left hand towards the nearest Dopple before taking her brooch out of the pocket of her pajama pants as she dropped her sword and called forth her transformation. "Ventos Alnair!" Aylin called out as the familiar lines of magic enveloped her changing her to Sailor Alnair once more.
As she laded on her knee next to her sword, Ayin looked up at where her attack had struck the Dopple she had targeted. There in the chest of the watery female looking creature who was someone else's double was a hole the exact size of her light sphere. The human looking water double had been weakened. It was then the realization hit her, the magic of someone not its double would be able to weaken and eventually take it out.
"Go for anything that doesn't look like you," Aylin called out before sending forth her wind blade attack, "Ventum Lamina!"

Zephyros pounded his fist into the ground, staring at the town denied to him by the barrier recreated by Venilia so long ago. "Why am I here when I cannot do anything..."
Wisps of light gently illuminated the sky, it was like seeing little falling meteors, as though the girl could see a meteor shower after being in the dark so long. Vivid sparklers to her, something so familiar yet worrisome. She only allowed her eyes to linger for a moment, for all was stolen time now, and the hands of the clock spun even more quickly for her.
...help...help...what's going on? Why can't I speak? Where is Yin? where is my precious dragon....I don't understand, what...was... I ...doing...who is....Ethelinda?
The girl could easily hear the terrified voice of Ethelinda, but the consciousness was too wounded to even converse with at the moment. Something had to be done.
"You will become my loyal warrior, and we will take back this land that sealed me in. We'll turn it into it's rightful state. My state."
DV looked and Melinda and nodded. The dragonness grinned, looking at the sunrise. DV's hand slowly crept toward's Melinda's ear.
"What are you...? Eyahhh"
A small blue jewel of an earring was ripped from Melinda's earlobe. Melinda, sensing the betrayal, growled loudly and shifted quicker than a blink. Dizzily fast there was no sunrise but darkness and DV was grabbed by a much larger and more massive tail. The alpha dragonness took on her full dragon form, several stories tall and DV wrapped tightly in the long tail with blood red spikes. A tiny flicker of power came from the blue jewel, and Ethelinda regained her consciousness from the pure healing energy just in time to realize that she was staring in the face what the grim reaper wouldn't wished on his worst enemy. A female dragon scorned.

Not to be left out, Terra and Aeris had their own doppels to deal with as one materialized right in front of them, drawn by the sudden burst of energy from their transformations. The Terra look-alike simply stood there, almost puzzled, by Aeris' presence. Suddenly, the watery creature began to ripple and distort, and the creature split in two with the new doppel taking the form of Aeris.
"What the..." expressed Terra in disbelief
"It... is... me?" said Aeris, echoing her friend's disbelief. "Goodness! I feel quite beside myself," Aeris quipped, much to Terra's displeasure.
"Aeris! Now is NOT the time for your terrible jokes! These things are trying to get us!" The doppels lunged for the two senshi, trying to get a hold of them to drain their energy. Terra and Aeris were much quicker, however; they easily dodged the oncoming attacks and countered with their own. Yet no matter how many blows they landed, their watery clones would not falter. The two were starting to get frustrated when they heard Aylin call out from near the manor gate, having discovered a strategy to defeat the doppels. In one swift motion, Terra and Aeris swapped positions to match up with the other's doppel and charged at them before they had a chance to respond.
"Gale Blast!" Aeris called out. She spun around rapidly, violent winds circling around her. Upon breaking from her spin, a blast of wind struck Terra's doppel.
"Seismic Strike!" shouted Terra as she smashed her hammer into the ground. Her attack sent powerful waves of earth based energy toward Aeris' doppel. With their foes incapacitated, Terra and Aeris joined up with Prim and charged toward the barrier.

Back-flipping and dodging out of her doppels grasp, Seren slashed at other doppels as Aylin suggested, but they were heavily outnumbered, her breath was already becoming labored there was no way they could keep this up, they needed to make some breathing room.
turning to slash behind her, she caught sight of Terra and Lunette, an idea struck her, both of them appeared to have atttack with a wide range, if they could lure a large group of doppels into there range they could have a chance to even the odds.
Terra, Lunnette!!! Prepare an attack in this direction when I give the word let it loose, everyone else lure your doppels this way!! then get out the way!!! she called out as she danced out of her doppels grasp catching there attention.
