Hello and Welcome to Team Rocket Headquarters! We're a Breedable/Changing Pets shop as well as an active RP community.


New to the B/C? Start here!

If you're new to the Breedable/Changing Pets forum, also known as the B/C, what that means is that it's possible to win and buy pets - in our case, Pokémon - made by our artists. This sets us apart from regular RP communities in that you need to buy, win, or otherwise earn the Pokémon your character owns instead of just stating that they have them.

First and foremost, TRHQ is a B/C shop with fairly standard B/C rules. We highly recommend you look over the front page of the main thread to familiarize yourself with our rules, especially if you're not familiar with how shops like this usually run. Please make sure to do so before asking questions. Naturally, if you find anything confusing, we'll be happy to help you understand!

Reading the front page will basically catch you up on what we are as a B/C shop, and from there you'll be ready to take part in any events and sales to net yourself your first Pokémon!


Thinking about RP? Read on!

Aside from its B/C aspect, TRHQ is also a flourishing RP community. To encourage and reward activity, RP comes with a number of perks, including things like character promotion and discount coupons. You're welcome to begin RPing even if you don't already own a Pokémon, but you'll be limited to a civilian character - neither a member of Team Rocket nor an active League trainer - until you get a Pokémon.

TRHQ prides itself on its somewhat darker, more mature approach to Team Rocket and the Pokémon world. The story takes place in the small island region of Kodo, where the League has little presence and a new Team Rocket has established a growing empire of crime and terrorism. It's a struggle between the trainers, fighting for a way to save the region, and Team Rocket, striving to expand its power and influence while confronting enemies such as the League and rival teams like Team Galactic.

The heart of our RP is the characters developed by our players, and as such we value character development immensely. The way our game runs, we like to see that characters start at or near the bottom and, through spending time in-game and accumulating experiences, eventually grow and blossom in both expected and unexpected ways. Every new character starts out this way and works their way up. This makes for a lot of fun and challenging experiences that help develop not only our characters but also ourselves as writers!

If you're interested in joining in on RP, the first action you should take would of course be to read over the Roleplay Rules. Like with the front page, this information is all vitally important if you plan to participate in the RP community, so please read it carefully before you begin thinking about characters and plots.

Once you've read and understand the rules, your next step is to create a character. To help you keep organized, you can head over to the Journals subforum and set up a journal. You're not required to have a journal, but it can make it easier for others to learn about your character.

It's also highly encouraged to chat about your character in the thread if you're comfortable doing so. Not only does it help introduce your character to other players, but the regulars really love hearing about characters and are always more than willing to answer questions or offer suggestions to help you and your character become more comfortable with our RP setting.
