[Fight!] Ooljee x Olu

Olu let out a righteous roar, dug his claws into the sand and stood his ground. He had blood on his maw and shoulder, making for a rather gruesome sight now that it was allowed to freely flow, but it didn't seem to affect his mood. Olu rolled his uninjured shoulder, soft silver eyes never leaving her for a moment.

He was slowing, but not so much that he could avoid her. Since she was playing favorites for attack points, he went for her throat again, hoping to hit a vital point to finally knock her out for good.

Even with his passion Olu was having trouble walking. His face he could ignore, but the burning ache in his shoulder made it hard to keep his balance. Every step seemed like a stumble. He found himself panting more than snarling now, and cursing his luck all the while.

He couldn't avoid it. Olu roared, feeling the full blunt of her claws on his face, marring up what flesh wasn't already torn. The male tried to push her off, but with only one forepaw working it was a jaded effort.

He could hear the battles raging on around him and knew that his kin were fighting just as hard as he. Though he doubted any would have such a hard time seeing through the blood dripping from his forehead around his eyes, or having such a hard time breathing through what was surely a broken nose.

Olu would kill her. If he could get his claws on her he would tear out her heart with his teeth before he dropped dead, if necessary. Seeing her going for his leg he wobbly moved away and brought a paw up to weakly smack her across her brazen face!

Olu stood standing, but he wasn't moving as much as he had been. He was sure if he moved too fast too dodge that he would fall, so he tried to bolster himself as solidly as he could. The male was older, battle worn, and hardened by a life of war and hate. He wouldn't go down like an old wild dog!

He watched her as closely as he could. His bloodloss from his multiple head wounds was doing more damage now than the actual hits themselves. This would have to end and fast!

HP: 3/10 (Though 2/10 when it's all calculated)

I swear, I am on the edge of my seat and the adrenaline is having a field day in me! xD

Olu felt he could drop at any moment and that worried him. Even if he were to faint, what would stop this lioness from snapping his neck while he slept? He had to end it, had to. For the glory of the Qyrhyeshti! This territory would belong to them!

He waited, biding his time as best he knew and when she came he was ready. Olu threw himself back at her, coming in at an angle to try and knock her to the ground with a strike aimed at her already wounded throat. He poured everything he had in it. Another hit, another lunge...he didn't have it anymore. This had to be the final move!

Olu's body fell near the lioness', landing with a sharp cry on his bloodied shoulder. As if enough sand hadn't already clung to the raw tissue more was added to the mix. All he could do was hope she didn't take advantage of his position and try to make a move. He still had the drive, but his energy...that was long since gone.

With the sheer grit of a stubborn git, Olu rose slower than his opponent. He had to squint his eyes to avoid the spray of sand, but it was well worth it. She had put up a good fight, but she had finally given in! Olu snarled. He'd wanted her heart in his fangs, though fate didn't seem to be on the same path. Today she would live. If fate were merciful still, she would set an infection on the wretch and be done with it.

That is, if she didn't already have one in mind for him.

Victory burned strong in him, but it didn't make him move any quicker as he hobbled away from the battle ground towards his comrades. (With more than a few stops along the way).
