Name: Takeshi Nakashima Gender: Male Age: 18 Personality: The Takeshi of the alternate dimension is a lot less fearful and optimistic than his counterpart. His attitude has almost always consisted of skepticism and a complete disregard for others. There are times when he is just depressing and a bummer to those around him when in reality he is just a hardcore realist. He always sees the dark side of people and can never fully feel safe. Constantly paranoid his fear of death is what drives him to survive, it is perhaps the only hing he and his counterpart have in common. After what he has seen in his world it became increasingly harder to trust people. Eventually he just closed his heart off from others for awhile looking out for himself. He has no hope that his dimension will ever change and become a place similar to its counterpart. While he strongly disapproves of the Lord Death from his home, denouncing his cruel and unjust use of his power, he doesn't seem to be willing to take up arms against him knowing fully well that it'd just result in a meaningless death for himself, which he believes will be meaningless in the end.
After coming to the counterpart dimension he has decided to remain hidden from the radar. Spending time in the dimension has been an all new experience to him. At first it was so overwhelming that he wasn't sure if he had died and gone to a better place. All of those smiling faces invoked feelings of joy and eventually stirred up feelings of hope from within him. Still he remains skeptical knowing that Lord Death would attempt to make its move on the dimension. And so Takeshi took on a sort of persona. A carefree and gullible kind of guy that can be oblivious from time to time. He took on a new personality so he could try and blend in just in case the alternate Lord Death's operatives were already in the vicinity of death city, able to recognize him. There are some people he deemed he could trust, especially after the events of the Machinist, but other then that he has yet to feel safe showing his true colors and taking down his mask.
The real Takeshi does not seem to care for morals in battles as much as others do. This was seen for the first time when he captured Becky Dutrow in the Machinist base to convince his enemies to stand down for a hostage. In his dimension he has seen very little people abide by honor. The idea of a battle with morals and unwritten rules is lost on him in a match for survival. As long as it can be considered a real battle, Takeshi will do whatever it takes to win.
History: Takeshi was born in the alternate dimension by a witch and sorcerer. His father was notorious for his work under Lord Death's reign, contributing as much as he could to help the cause of world domination. In a world where everything was restricted there was not much else to worship but the almighty shinigami. In other words, this Takeshi was never exposed to the cult dedicated to unsealing Asura from the moon as his parents would follow in the fearsome reaper instead. His father worked in Death Magic Allegiance as vice principal molding the young minds of sorcerers, witches, and demons alike to become mindless soldiers. There wasn't much freedom and rules were strict. Disobey them and there would be serious consequences. Out of fear the majority of the student population followed in the regulations closely. It was the bible to them. It was none other then Takeshi's father, Kohei Nakashima, who had a hand in making lots of cruel punishments after he supported administration with tons of sinister ideas, which they took. "A strong school has a strong foundation. Reinforcing the pillars that hold up justice must be our top priority. A school with a weak foundation will never last and crumble by the weight of its own magnificence." he told the head. Takeshi's mother, Aiko Nakashima, was a lot less fearsome. She could have easily been one of the most compassionate creatures in the alternate dimension. She worked as a nurse for Death Magic Allegiance, but she hated her job simply because she was stationed in death city. She hated the way things worked and couldn't stand her husband. Their relationship was just barely platonic. Aiko never really loved Kohei. The couple's union was at most a security measure to ensure her safety. It was really Aiko's family who pressured her to marry Kohei.
A long time ago just after Japan was taken over by the reaper's forces, there was a young sorcerer. His name was Kohei, a simple soldier for Lord Death at the time. He caught sight of a beautiful women which would later become his wife. Back then Kohei was a little more kind and persuasive when trying to get what he wanted. He was stationed at Aiko's village, luckily for him. It was where he would come to know true beauty. The day his eyes laid on Aiko he just knew he had to make her his. In order to win her over he introduced himself to both her and her family. No one really liked him and flat out acted rude towards him. The village was just transitioning after agents of the evil Lord Death began setting up shop. Kohei didn't take much offense for Aiko's family though. He was doing this to obtain her, not them. Their relationship at that time was somewhat friendly. Aiko did not approve of Kohei and what he was doing but treated him fairly anyways. Kohei knew of Aiko's disapproval but didn't give up hope. He tried his best to make himself appealing to her. After Aiko's village was deemed a territory of the shinigami, rules and regulations were placed. Men, women, and children alike were to be in their homes before a certain hour of the day. There would also be no holidays or festivals unless they were passed by the higher ups. The system was corrupt and the agents would abuse their power. What really got the villagers riled up was the officers that watched over the town. The way they abused their power caused the villagers to deem them as filth. Everyone despised the presence of these crooked forces and wanted them gone. It was really the fear of the reaper that caused them to withstand the officers as long as they did without a riot. If it weren't for the officers though then Aiko probably might not have appreciated Kohei so much that it may or may not have convinced her to marry him. It was because Kohei was granted a chance that he was able to sway Aiko's opinion about him. One day Aiko was walking home alone from a friend's house, when she was stopped by two male officers. They tried sweet talking her which she didn't dignify with a response. When Aiko tried walking away from them they stopped her. They said that if she didn't do what they said then something bad might happen to her family. It was clearly a threat. Aiko was infuriated and bordering on losing control of what she might do to the two men. If Kohei didn't come at the right time then Aiko may have very well turned the two officers inside out, which could have granted her a death penalty for attacking Lord Death's agents. Kohei stated the consequences of what might happen to them if he informed their commanding officer of this. The two were angry at Kohei but knew they had to leave, or else suffer the consequences. When they left Aiko expressed her deepest gratitude. The two talked a little bit and Aiko left thinking that maybe not all of the officers in the village were bad.
Everyone in the village was fearful and mad at the changes to come which threatened their peaceful and free way of life. Tension was building slowly over time so it wouldn't come as a surprise if the villagers fought back. How dare that reaper just take what he wants and push the world around like this! This is just unacceptable! Let's fight back, we can take em all down, starting with those damn officers! Lots of the villagers felt this way, including members of Aiko's family. Kohei was in the same village for months so he would be there for when things reached a boiling point. Eventually a riot broke out. It was a revolt against the shinigami and the crooked officers. The villagers outnumbered the agents by a small margin, but the forces of evil were much more powerful then they thought. These operatives were trained for stuff like this. The crisis lasted about three hours before all the rioting villagers were defeated. Blood flowed through the streets and alleyways. A once beautiful place was ravaged. Before the riot there was an abundance in sakura trees, but after the riot most of them were found burnt to a crisp. The remaining trees retained battle scars and lost branches. Aiko and her mother hid during the riot as war and death infested their home. Kohei also abandoned his post to stay with Aiko just to make sure she was okay. He avoided having to kill anyone and seemed displeased in his job, which made him seem all the more reasonable to marry Aiko if he asked. In total there were seventy-two casualties for the villager's side while thirty were dead from the shinigami's forces. To make a point to the village, the agents stationed there were to round up ten of the injured villagers that had participated in the riot and publicly execute them in the center of the village. They had to do so as they had received orders from Death City. The people were allowed one week of peace and grieving before the day of the execution came. There was a rising tension as the days of that week went by. Rumors of another riot tried to manifest, but there were too man casualties already. It would be foolish to stand against the shinigami's forces a second time. People knew that there would be dire consequences for the ones apprehended. Families held their breathe as they waited out to see who would suffer the death penalty for their crimes against Lord Death, hoping that none of the men from their families would be the ones to suffer. Aiko and her mother were especially worried as Aiko's two brothers and father were caught by the shinigami's forces. Each day Kohei tried to reassure her that her siblings and father would be fine. He explained that the chances of one of her brothers, or father, falling victim to the death penalty was slim. Either way she thought that this was unnecessary and had to stop.
The day of execution she was with a friend who had lost a husband during the riot. She was comforting her as best she could but the poor thing was a mess. It would take time for her to recover from hearing that her husband was dead. Meanwhile people were gathering in the village square to see who it was that would die for fighting in the riot. The style of murder, hanging. After about an hour the village square was full of people. With so many people gathered it was the time to set an example. Agents brought out those that were selected to be executed. Families watched in horror as fathers and sons were brought before them. The captain of the forces stationed in the village made an appearance. He gave a speech to the villagers there why this was happening and that they should just submit to the new changes willingly. The chief also said that the rest of those involved in the riot will be released afterwards, free to return home to their families. Aiko had entered the village square after hearing rumors. They shook her to the core and had made her wish that this wasn't true. The rumors going around suggested that Aiko's father was among those selected to be publicly executed. She originally wasn't going to watch the horrifying string of events, but she had to know if her father was okay. Meeting up with Kohei, he escorted her to the front along with the other families that had members involved in the spectacle. When she made her way to the front she couldn't believe her eyes. The rumors were true, her father was among some of the other dead faces. He was shackled, both his arms and legs were bound. Aiko's father also had fresh new wounds on him. She believed that these weren't done in the riot, but afterward. She knew that they had been beating her father after they took him into captivity. Aiko was so overcome with emotion that she was paralyzed. No matter what she tried she couldn't gain control of her own body. In the village square there was a large stage set up. It was big and seemed sturdy enough to hold all ten prisoners. One by one each man stepped onto the stage, then had a noose tied around their neck. The platform below where each prisoner was stepping on would be removed upon the climax of the execution, causing the men to die from hanging. Aiko watched helplessly as her father was minutes away from death. The beaten and bruised father looked down at the crowd, then turned to his daughter and smiled, his last words following. "I only regret not being able to see the downfall of the b*****d responsible for taking all of Japan! Aiko... Please look after your mother and your brothers for me. With her father's last words she gathered the strength to feel again. Aiko could feel the weight off of her shoulders fade away. She tried springing to her father's rescue but couldn't go through with it in the end. The witch tried to run on top of the stadium and save the men but was stopped by Kohei. He held her back and told her it was helpless, and that if she did so she would end up with a similar fate. With tears streaming down her face she screamed for her father. The two made eye contact, her father shaking his head gently. He didn't want his daughter to interfere. Aiko picked up on this realizing for the first time that she could not stop this from happening without a tragic ending. The father smiled one last time at his daughter before one of the officers pulled back a lever causing all platforms beneath the prisoners to shift. Aiko turned away as she couldn't bare to look at what was occurring, her head buried into Kohei's shoulder. She could hear the cries of the other villagers as she begged for it all to stop. When it was all over and done she turned to see her father's lifeless body. Her eyes couldn't turn away as the memory of his face was engraved into her mind. All she could recall after that was how numb and desensitized she felt after seeing her father along with the other nine rioters. Hours later the other rioters were released from captivity, some of them also beaten and injured by the abuse of the Shinigami's agents.
With the public execution over with, Aiko and the rest of her family went into mourning. She was depressed and anything that reminded her of her father made her want to cry for hours. He was a big role model in her life, someone she could go to when times were rough. Her depressed attitude continued for two months, with Kohei by her side the entire time. During that time the village had completely submit, no more rumors of rioting would break out. Anyone that threatened the status of the village was beaten to a pulp publicly, making a big spectacle of everything happening. Time had passed and pretty soon Kohei would be leaving the village to move on with his life. He was an ambitious man with big dreams, he would not let himself get tied down to Aiko's small village. One night Kohei approached Aiko's home, a beautiful ring at hand. Opening the door was Aiko's older brother, neither him nor his younger brother cared for Kohei's job. They appreciated what Kohei had done for their sister, but despised him because of his affiliation. He tried to get him to go away but he wouldn't back down. Aiko eventually came to the door and sent her older brother away. The two conversed and Kohei told her that he would be leaving the village soon. Aiko seemed a little sad to hear this but she could understand, Kohei had been restricted to this small village a long time. What came next would absolutely shock her, he proposed. Kohei had asked for her hand in marriage and for the opportunity to move with him to death city. Aiko didn't know what to say, she had her family to think about. And if that weren't all, death city was the source of corruption spreading across the world. It was the base of operations for the shinigami, just one of the people responsible for her father's death. She couldn't turn him down so she told him that she had to think about her decision. Kohei didn't take that all too well. The man pressed on, trying to convince her on the spot to join him. Aiko couldn't though, she had to talk with her family before making such a rash decision, one she would have most likely said no to due to her father, had it not been because of Aiko's mother. That nice she told her family the news as they were eating dinner together. She explained that Kohei wanted her hand in marriage. Her older brother was strongly against the idea, especially because it meant Aiko would be moving to death city. Her younger brother was hesitant to say that he would give her blessing to Aiko because Kohei was working for people that could not be trusted. When it came time for Aiko's mother's input, her response shocked all three of her children. She said that she should marry Kohei. If she were to wed with him then it would mean a more secure future. One in which she could feel relieved to see for her daughter. Aiko's mother said that if Kohei made her happy then she should do it. Aiko's older brother objected saying things like Kohei's kind are responsible for what happened to their father and why there is so much corruption in the world. Once dinner was over Aiko felt exhausted. In bed Aiko thought of what she would say to Kohei tomorrow. On one hand she could live a semi-happy life with a man who could be a lot worse, find a job in death city to better support her family as they were already bordering on poverty, and like her mother said, she could live a safer life without too much fear of persecution. Then again she would be leaving death city and going against her father's last words, watching over her family. She was tasked with the job because her brothers were rash and would need someone as level-headed as her to keep them in line. Giving in from frustration on thinking of the matter she escaped to dream land.
The next day Aiko continued with her usual activities, avoiding areas where Kohei may be. She even snuck out of the house at the break of dawn to avoid talking to him in the morning knowing that he would be knocking on her door at any second awaiting a response. She just couldn't deal with that at the time so she went off to have some time alone. And so she thought some more about her situation and weighing out her options. Eventually she had to cave in and
When she was pregnant with Takeshi she had moved back home with her family as her husband was too busy with work to watch over her. In Japan she spent months happily with her family outside of death city, the center of darkness in a world where the sun's rays rarely show. In Japan Aiko was much more happy then she ever could be in Death City. She was surrounded by family in her hometown, which despite being under Death's authority, things were a lot less corrupt and restricted than death city. Aiko knew how things used to be before Lord Death had extended his rule. She remembered a world in which she didn't need to fear talking out of line or worship some glorified fiend. There wasn't much going on during the months that Aiko was pregnant with Takeshi. She exchanged a few words with her husband

The Dark Arts: Death Magic - Death magic is most likely Takeshi's second most powerful weapon at his disposal. At the expense of his mana he can create, shape and manipulate the essence of Death, which is present in all mortals throughout the universe. It's intended purpose is in it's name, death and destruction. Gaining this magic by normal means is impossible as it can only be learned by being passed down. Once obtained it is usually seen as a curse more than anything. Those that have obtained the ability to use the magic are plagued with lack of control when first starting out. If not careful they tend to cause serious damage to those around them. Death magic can take on multiple forms but the same principals apply when used. It grants incredible power to the users giving them magic made to kill, but the catch is that if one doesn't learn to control the magic it can cause death to whatever lives. With this Takeshi can manipulate the essence that allows death, destruction, decay, and corruption to exist. The powers greatly vary with each magic user but so far the only known user that can use this magic is Takeshi for logical reasons which can be read in his bio. When used by Takeshi it commonly takes the form of a black miasma. In this form anything that miasma touches is drained of it's life-force. Once this gaseous black air is released it can be a danger to anything around him that lives, the most common targets being plant life and those of a considerably low stamina amount. In this state it doesn't cause physical damage but simply drains the target's stamina. In this state it can be mistaken as an altered form of wind manipulation as Takeshi is able to use this miasma in such a way. Takeshi's death magic can also take the form of energy-like constructs. In this form it can be seen as a lot more dangerous. In it's destructive energy form this magic seems to eradicate anything in it's path. Those that have the misfortune of coming into contact with this magic while in this energy form will just experience an intense burning sensation topped with stamina sapping. What is not surprising is that his attacks seem to have a black coloring, but depending on what spells are used by Takeshi it can have secondary colors, and even seem to have added elements as well. An example would be to use a spell to create an orb of using the magic and then finding that it has a white outline with purple lightning around it. This doesn't mean that Takeshi has mastery over the lightning element, but simply that some spells take on that appearance. One of the more peculiar effects of this magic is it's ability to negate healing. If targets are constantly hit with this magic then they won't be able to use any abilities that would allow them to recover from the solid aspect of death. Even though the name of this magic is Death Magic I am not implying in any shape or form that users can induce instant death. In the future this magic will never be able to induce instant death nor will it ever be brought up that it has caused instant death. Maybe for bio purposes I can have it believed that it can induce instant death, but that will never happen. If someone is hit by this magic whether it be in it's miasma or energy form, they will always have a portion of stamina drained. How much is taken and how fast this happens is up to that user's decision making skills. Healing abilities won't be able to be used within three posts each time an enemy is hit by this magic. If Takeshi's opponents are constantly getting hit then the post duration is refreshed back to three post rather than stacked. Here is my example. It's pretty much just a watered down version of Zeref's magic with my own personal touch so I'd be able to use it.

Bio: Takeshi was born in the alternate dimension by the same but alternate parents of Takeshi Nakashima the meister. Just like the Takeshi from the normal dimension, Takashi also shared the witch blood passed down by his mother, except his father passed on the blood of a kishin after he gathered enough pure human souls, which differs from the original father of the Takeshi from the normal world greatly. Despite being a kishin, Takeshi's father managed to create a baby with a witch. When he was a baby he was raised by the two parents in a middle class environment. It was a pretty normal life for him but his parents were always leaving him with a nanny. As he got older he would one day come across these strange garbs when searching his mother's and father's room, the young boy wouldn't see any significance until he learned the symbol of the kishin. Since he would soon find himself awakening his magical powers he would begin going to the alternate DMA academy. Life there was pretty normal for Takashi, if you count the bleak outlook of the world as "normal". From the day he enrolled he would be taught to follow Lord Death's orders. Despite the hordes of students announcing their loyalty to Lord Death, Takeshi was pretty much against the shinigami crazy for world domination. This boy just didn't have the same ideals as the other people that lived within the confines of the twisted world. Although Takeshi did not believe in this dark alternate world, he didn't say anything. If you did what you were told and didn't act out of line then you were fine.
One day at school a terrible accident occurred. All of the sudden the madness within Takeshi would awaken and manifest, as an actual being that in a sense, "lived". It corrupted everyone around him at the time, causing them to go insane from the madness wavelength that came with it. The crazy thing about it was that there was no madness detected within the boy beforehand. It was a result of his freakish and cursed breed as an incomplete Kishin. When this accident happened his parents began to act odd towards him and would keep a careful eye on him. Since he couldn't go to school until he was stable again, he would be sent to a well known facility to be rehabilitated. Takeshi's madness messed his mind up pretty bad after the incident in school. He would also need to spend a lot of time in treatment because of his unique condition. It wasn't normal for sorcerers to emit a madness wavelength after all. As time passed he was free of any real danger towards himself, or others. It was the strangest thing as a matter of fact, the madness wavelength remained, yet he had better control of it. Basically, the madness was actually dormant, but it still remained. He would later on learn how to use his madness without having to worry about it overpowering himself. One year later he would move on to graduate the DMA with high honors, surprisingly.
As he would begin to move on with life and move out of his parents house he would eventually find his own home. His original intention was to join the alternate Lord Death's army, since there were very few options besides that. His father, a pure kishin, was among the ranks of this army. After awhile he would get these strange dreams about the mark of the kishin which he had learned about at the DMA. Pretty soon he would recall events that happened long ago which hadn't even taken place in the current dimension, such as a girl wielding a scythe along with a boy that had light blue hair. It would all turn out fuzzy but then as time passed by the dreams would become more clear and unveil themselves. Vivid and clear now he would learn from his dreams that he once battled three meisters along with their demon weapons. Memories would begin pouring back as he fought against Death the Kid, Blackā Star, and Maka Albarn. Little did he know that the dreams he saw were placed in his head by his parents to prepare him to be the next Asura. It began to bother him more and more as time went on, pretty soon he would need to see a psychiatrist about these dreams and what they had meant. His world was falling apart as more odd dreams began to surface. Creepily he would know all about this man known as Asura and how he was the son of Lord Death. Takeshi would also recall how he was one of the Eight Powerful Warriors. Conflicted and beginning to lose his sanity he would turn to his parents for help and guidance. When he went back to his parents he would begin to tell them all about the strange dreams that he had been having. As he told them more they looked at him with more interest, after he was done telling them about the dreams they would tell him to follow them, which he did.
Takeshi would soon find himself in an abandoned hospital after an hour road trip, with the mark of the kishin written everywhere. His parents would lead him to a large room where he met a strange old man. The man called a meeting and all of these strange looking people with the very same robes that he had found in his parents room as a child would come in and sit down then proceed to watch, including his parents who had been in the front row. Following the meeting Takeshi stood awkwardly on a large stage as the man began a long speech about how the group would finally meet their goal. Towards the end the strange man who wore similar but more fancier clothes then the rest of the crowd would walk up to Takeshi and tell him in a gentle manner that he was the new embodiment of terror and bred to be the next Asura and bring his original mission to completion. His purpose wouldn't be to stop Lord Death, but take him and the rest of the world down with him. Hard to believe all at once the boy managed to piece together some important details like how his madness level was far above that of the average Sorcerer. Takeshi would find himself being worshipped as if he were some almighty god which he enjoyed almost too much, they addressed him with respect and obeyed his every command, including his parents. Yes, it was nice for him and he enjoyed it, but there was no actual intention of going along with this plan. They were crazy people.
Takeshi would move into the abandoned hospital which actually met the living requirements once you found the secret floor isolated from the rest of humanity and hidden away. Erecting special barriers, they were able to avoid being found from Lord Death and his minions for a great deal of time. There he would be taught how to use the madness to his advantage and unlock strange kishin like abilities so he could one day encompass the world in fear. One of the most sacred rules he had to follow was to never leave the hospital again until he was ready to take on his true mission by continuing where Asura left off. Towards the end of his training he was conflicted on what would happen next. Years had passed and there was no doubt that he would face trouble. The plan was for Takeshi, as well as the cult, was to join a resistance group and help put and end to the shinigami's reign. Then Takeshi would betray the resistance group and kill them off, believing that by then his would-be kishin powers would be mastered. The boy had always been a good person that genuinely cared for others so this was no way coming to pass. During the time there he would be fed pure human souls so that he may become a kishin quicker for their master plan, as he ate more and more he unlocked kishin like abilities which was very odd since he wasn't a full kishin yet. Gaining the power yet not fully becoming a kishin, more of the cult would learn of this new breed. After awhile he said he would capture more pure human souls on his own after his training was done. Takeshi never wanted to eat those souls to begin with, but so long as his father, a full kishin, hung over his shoulder, he couldn't refuse. If he left the hospital then he would die, if he refused the cult, he would die. And so they respected his statement and stopped feeding him human souls. Takeshi would begin to ask more questions as he trained such as how did the cult know of the Asura from the original dimension, the cult leader would be the one to reply and say that he was originally from the normal dimension and had come here so he may "enlighten" the people of this dimension. Asking more questions he wanted to know why wasn't his father, as powerful as he was believed to be, not the one they put their faith into. Apparently he had more potential to get stronger because part of him was a Sorcerer still, able to use magic.
Together the cult leader and this strange person which he was kept in the dark about met. This person revealed himself to be known as Gusion, a strange name Takeshi wanted to make fun of him for. Unbeknownst to Takeshi, but they had been able to track him by using a special power which would allow the cult leaders partner, Gusion, to trace all past lives of a human with a single glance. Desperate to drown the world in madness the cult leader jumped at the opportunity to use Takeshi for their evil purposes. When Takeshi asked how the cult leader had come to the alternate world he said that he too was a warlock and that he was able to open a portal here using a long forgotten spell. The cult would have their last meeting to discuss Takeshi's mission as the reincarnation of Asura after he had finished his training, the mission was to fulfill his purpose and become a kishin once again then cause both dimensions to fall into madness. Deep down Takeshi wasn't going to complete any mission for the cult since he was going to live as his own person despite being bred for terrible deeds. Just before the meeting, Takeshi blacked out. When he woke up he didn't know what had happened. In the end he killed almost every last one of the cult members before reducing the hospital to rubble with his new found powers. Confused, he didn't know what to do now. The cult's plan was up in smoke, Takeshi couldn't go back to Lord Death for fear that he would be charged with desertion, and he was just tired. Just as he would leave the rubble that was left behind he would find a strange hole that appeared out of nowhere. From the look of it he could assume that it was a portal made of magic, how it got there he didn't know, but he also didn't care. Unaware of what else was left for him he just let himself in and was instantly warped to the normal dimension. Still having trouble getting into the hangs of things he knew that this was the dimension that Asura had belong to, though he knew that this wasn't his home. Now he just roams around thinking of what to do next.
Most Recently: After the events unfolded at the Machinist headquarters, Takeshi was once again left with nothing to do but roam. Intending to find a purpose he ventured out on his own little journey, exploring the world on his own for awhile. The journey didn't seem to last long though, because once he reached the valley of hidden truths, Takeshi was greeted by a familiar figure. Having trouble recognizing him, he let the man speak. He talked a little but Takeshi could barely understand what he was saying, finally he revealed himself to be the one that brought Takeshi to this dimension. Out of fear, Takeshi attempted to use his shadows to restrain the man. A little relieved, Takeshi let his guard down believing it to work. Wanting answers, Takeshi urged this man to tell him why he had brought him here and how he survived. Laughing hysterically, the man didn't say a thing. A little more harsh, Takeshi tightened the leash on him made of his shadow. As he squeezed harder, the man wouldn't stop laughing. Takeshi continued, but with a puff of black smoke, the man's physical body was gone. Entering Takeshi's shadows, he didn't know what to do. Before long Takeshi's own power turned on him, much to his shock. Two eyes and a mouth showing off two rows of pearly whites would be the last thing Takeshi remembered before things just went black. Now Takeshi is much more different then before, ranging from his intentions to his personality.
Traits:
+ Longevity - Being of witch descent Takeshi has longer lifespans than that of the average human. This is already starting to affect Takeshi though as his body is already beginning to physically age slower as he grows older.
+ Immeasurable Madness/Magical Energy - Since Takeshi is one of the first of his kind as a child of kishin blood he has vast amounts of madness within him. Comparable to a true kishin Takeshi manages to control the madness within so he won't affect anyone nearby. This works well most of the time but he is susceptible to others that exert madness which can cause catastrophic results. Able to restrain and control the madness within Takeshi can successfully use it as a weapon by adding it to his magic. For example his shadow magic couldn't be used physically until it fell under the influence of madness. Because most people focus on the demonic side of Takeshi's powers they forget that he is also capable of using magic. Being a graduate from the DMA he is capable of performing complicated spells and able to use powerful magic without losing his stamina at rapid rates.
+ Meister Capabilities - Very unlikely due to trust issues and complex soul wavelength matching problems its rare, but possible that Takeshi can wield a demon weapon. Finding someone that is capable of becoming his partner is truly a hard task. Even if he were to find a partner he wouldn't be able to wield them during madness overload unless they were able to handle the intense wavelengths he gives off.
Equipment:
+ Mask of Death - The mask of death can only be equipped when Takeshi is under the effects of madness release. It is made from an incredibly hard substance.
+ Scythe of Reaping - This is Takeshi's weapon he uses in his madness overload mode that can be summoned through the means of summoning from his pocket dimension.
+ Memory Fiber Clothes - Special clothing that reverts back to it's original form so long as there is a piece of clothing left. Simply put, regenerating clothes.
Spells/Powers:
+ Angelic Symbiosis - After recent events, Takeshi now harbors a fallen angel within his body. Using Takeshi's shadow, it fused with the halfbreed's representation of madness. And so now, Takeshi's shadow is more self-aware than ever before. Before these events, Takeshi's shadow shared a lot more with him than the boy may have realized. The dark entity that is the main source of his attacks was itself, and still is, a living thing, sort of. It is a physical manifestation of Takeshi's madness, yet it is capable of thinking and acting on it's own accord. It has a mind of it's own, and since it is the source of Takeshi's madness, it most likely isn't thinking anything good. While Takeshi's shadows have a mind of their own, Takeshi does seem to have some control over them, but whether or not it is because the shadows will it or not is unclear. It seems as though it wants to protect Takeshi as it will act on it's own to defend him at times, but this could just be because it needs Takeshi in order to survive. It is a parasitic creature that gets stronger with the more madness it feeds off from, generated by Takeshi. After recent events, whenever Takeshi uses his shadows they seem as vicious as they have ever been. Due to their unique connection, Takeshi shares some powers with this entity, as well as some other traits. Both Takeshi and his now self-aware shadow are capable of interacting through telepathy on a level that no other is able to understand. In other words, there telepathic link can't be intercepted or disrupted. Takeshi is also able to use the eyes of his shadow to see through, or simply put, shared vision. He can also talk with the mouths on his shadow. Takeshi can also manifest deep black wings that can be used for flight, although they aren't his own he seems to be able to use them pretty well after some practice. The feathers can be infused with his soul's energy and then projected as if they were throwing knives. The biggest flaw to this ability is that the host could be in constant danger of being overtaken by the parasite that lives within the host. Allows him to materialize feathery black wings on any part of his body, allowing him flight, as well as telepathic communications with his shadow.
+ Soul Manipulation - A new ability discovered by Takeshi that allows him to control his soul in a number of ways. Unlike the Takeshi of the future, this alternate seems to be able to use his soul a lot more flexibly. Seemingly with newfound knowledge on how his soul works, he is able to do things such as turning his wavelength "on" and "off". This allows him to fight opponents without allowing his madness to mess with his opponent's minds. Another thing he can do is directly use the energy his soul generates for combat purposes. An example of his ability to use the energy in combat would be his attacks using madness based energy. It was somewhat pure in the beginning, but the output is a combination of life-force and madness. Takeshi is also able to infuse his soul with things, mainly objects. By doing so he can strengthen whatever he infuses with his soul in order to energize and strengthen it. That isn't the only thing though, Takeshi can also control the sharpness and hardness of objects, as well as the density. An example of this would be the wings he materializes. Using his soul infusion he can increase the sharpness of the feathers he produces, allowing them to cut through his enemies with ease. There are numerous other ways that Takeshi can manipulate his soul, but so far they have yet to be seen. This ability allows him to turn his wavelength on and off, as well as infuse his soul and soul's energy into objects. Other than that he can't do anything else, the other ways he can manipulate his soul is for plot purposes only, not to be used in combat.
+ Madness Overload - A technique that allows Takeshi to take on even the mightiest of foes. By amplifying the madness already within himself, Takeshi can fight on the level of a human that is undergoing madness release. When under the powerful influence of madness Takeshi's traits and abilities and greatly enhanced enabling him fight on an entirely new level. Upon using this technique Takeshi will also change his appearance greatly such as wearing a black cloak made of madness, his feet will also sink into the ground leaving only his legs. The way Takeshi travels now is by sinking into the ground as a shadow, his body now bends and twists in strange ways. Only when Takeshi uses madness overload is he capable of summoning his unique mask and weapon made of madness which you could learn more about in the description above. Among the new abilities Takeshi obtains he can transform his body into a shadow and phase through an enemys attack. This lasts one post and needs a five post cool down. Towards the end of training to learn how to control his madness he developed this form. Amplifying his own madness was a huge risk therefore Takeshi's master didn't like the idea of using it in battle but the young man will still use it if needed. Because of Takeshi's training with the cultist he is able to control the madness even more now and can freely enter this stage whenever he wants and maintain it for extended periods of time. Despite being able to fully control the madness release his personality will change to closely resemble that of a madman. His fighting style will be unpredictable and hard to follow. Just because he loses some sanity Takeshi will still be able to know the difference between friend and foe alike so his allies won't be in any real danger.
+ Kishin Form - This form is a last resort. When Takeshi enters this form his body is drastically altered, similar to his madness overload mode. It is still a dangerous process and whenever he enters this form, the madness always takes over. It starts when Takeshi's own shadow consumes his entire body, and before long it is turned and twisted in violent ways before he is completely unrecognizable. In this form he gains a mask that looks similar to his other one, only this one has three holes. His new body is very similar in regards to black blood, ranging from the strength to deployment. His body seems to be liquified entirely, yet he is still able to harden his body to attack, or rather his body is able to be liquified and then hardened to be used for attacks. This makes physical attacks harder to land on Takeshi, but they are still somewhat possible. In this state the boy can also grow his body to the size of a decently large house, but that's the extent in which he can grow. When it comes to length, he can throw a punch that can stretch quite far. Getting creative, he can also manipulate his body to create anything out of the blackish-red liquid before solidifying himself so that he can use that part of himself to become a weapon. In this state his strength increases while at the same time, his speed decreases. Because of the way he is, his movement is once again altered, like his madness overload mode. From his body he can also grow eyes and more mouths with teeth, as well as mimic the voices of those his shadow devoured, just like his shadow alone. After eating many pure human souls fed to him by the cult that raised him he began to grow more aggressive. More powers were revealed and he was coming closer to becoming a true kishin however he started losing himself. He would see illusions and go into these panic attacks. It was awful for the boy. Losing his sanity he said he wouldn't eat another pure human soul, going as far as to state some lie. Later he would get better and regain his sanity but he would still swear off of eating pure human souls. He uncovered this form after eating the last pure human soul he would eat at the abandoned hospital. Everyone immediately thought that Takeshi was in the process of becoming a kishin because his wavelength was reaching levels that closely resembled that of a regular kishin, however this wasn't the case. Quickly his body changed and his eyes didn't even look normal anymore. Just as everyone was about to celebrate his awakening as a kishin he reverted back to his average form. Later he would learn that he could enter this form freely, though every time he did his body would be under heavy stress afterwards. Despite obtaining this form he can't maintain it for long periods of time unless he becomes a full fledged kishin. By eating more pure human souls Takeshi will become a true kishin and be able to switch into this form with ease. He also gains the ability to manipulate and produce strong bones from his body. These can be used for a number of purposes such as using it in physical combat. By using the bones as legs he can crawl around like he is some sort of spider, fire them off as if they were projectiles, and use them as if they were blades. These bones are much more durable and stronger than the ordinary bones of humans. Apparently, Takeshi can generate every human bone usually present in bodies. He is even able to make a combination of the bones from within his body. So long as the black sludge-like liquid is connected to Takeshi's body, he is able to manipulate them. Ultimately this form is stronger than his madness overlord form. This ability gives the user enhanced strength while decreasing speed, as well as the ability to manipulate the bones generated from the body, and the body itself by switching from a liquid-like state to a solid one. Despite being able to liquify his whole body, Takeshi can't constantly stay in a liquid state. His weakest point is his mask.
+ Madness Manipulation - The ultimate form of madness is being able to harness that power and control it. This ability of Takeshi allows him to use his madness to enhance his physical prowess and speed. Thanks to this ability Takeshi is able to use his shadow magic offensively as well as concentrate the madness through his sword to enhance his cutting ability. Madness manipulation is the ability to use the massive amounts of madness within someone to empower the user or compress it into the form of blasts and beams. Madness is available to everyone since most people have at least a small amount of madness within them. Only those with immeasurable amounts of madness could unleash the full potential of its empowering properties. Depending on the person the effects of madness will effect everyone differently. Being the new embodiment of fear Takeshi's madness is terror. His magic is the control of shadows. By empowering himself with madness he is covered in a black shadow like aura that makes itself very apparent. Though empowering his body with madness gives him a darker look this isn't a form that can be compared to his other two but he does consider it due to the appearance change. This empowerment transformation is known as Shadow Drive hence the aura that would be emanating from him. When compressing the madness into a destructive force Takeshi can create black balls of madness that cause dome like explosions that range quite far. Compressing it into a form of blast is also possible. Finally Takeshi can alter the form of the madness and change the shape of it, enabling him to convert the madness into weapons. In weapon form the madness is highly weak to an Anti-Demon wavelength and will immediately disperse should a user come into contact with it. Can be used in both madness overload and Kishin forms.
+ The Unholy Abomination - Originally led on to believe that this was a type of magic, this is actually a living creature, originally believed to be manipulated through the use of magic and madness in unison. Takeshi's madness was brought to life in the form of the boy's shadow, and now he can manipulate his own shadow to take a physical form. Much like vector magic, Takeshi's shadow is very similar in the way it attacks, although it differs and has some unique limits. Takeshi can only manipulate and use his shadow when there are actually shadows, he can't function well in areas devoid of light entirely. After Takeshi's shadows have been amplified by his own madness they've evolved and managed to grow eyes and mouthes with teeth. These mouthes are capable of eating and the eyes link back to Takeshi, basically it enables father eye sight. Takeshi's shadow can take on a variety of shapes, from sharp spikes to tendril-like hands. He can also manipulate, slice through or devour anything that comes in contact with his shadow and it appears invulnerable to conventional physical harm, although it can be deflected by sufficiently hard objects. He can also see and talk through his shadowy eyes and mouths wherever his shadow can extend. The madness induced shadows are much more resilient than regular shadows, but it still has trouble with anti-demon wavelengths. There is an even darker side to this being. If the shadows were to devour souls then they would being to grow stronger as well. They are also capable of mimicking the voices of the people they ate. After using madness overload Takeshi's whole body will be able to transform into a physical form of the shadows themselves enabling him to use his shadow anywhere. In his madness induced form Takeshi must travel by sinking into the ground and moving in a way as if he was swimming on the ground as a shadow. When under the effects of madness Takeshi is still able to move as a shadow in areas devoid of light, able to use his body as a weapon. Just in case this gets confusing I've left some links to the origin of this ability in which I got the idea from. This is one of the links, you can see Pride (The character that looks like a child fight using shadows) fighting against Elric Alphonse. This anime is known as Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. Also this is my other example. Once again you can see Pride fighting using the same shadows I expect to use with this character, hopefully.

Once anything is engulfed in his shadow they are in the heart of Takeshi's madness and extremely susceptible to it. The only way to escape is through the way they entered from which is the mouth of the shadow.
Personality: After recent events, Takeshi appears to be a lot less sympathetic and caring as he use to be. He enjoys torturing people for the hell of it and has a hunger for pure human souls.

+ Black Step - Very similar to the original Takeshi's blue step the black step is a variation of it. By resonating with himself Takeshi is capable of moving at super high speeds leaving behind a blur like after image of him. The reason why the technique gets the name Black Step is because of the clothing Takeshi wears, when the after image of Takeshi is left it looks all black and fuzzy due to his clothing. Unlike the original the alternate can use this technique in quick succession due to his stamina so he could out speed anyone he comes into contact with. Anyone that is unfortunate enough to battle Takeshi will have a hard time catching up with him. This technique can't be used in his madness release form because Takeshi doesn't travel the way he does when he is using madness to enhance most of his capabilities. Most people confuse this technique as teleportation but truly its Takeshi's speed. In his kishin form this move is referred to him as the black dance due to the dramatically enhanced speed boost.
+ Soul Protect - A technique that is in constant use by Takeshi. In order to escape Shibusen's meisters and weapons Takeshi will use soul protect. This allows Takeshi to bypass soul perception which would be able to distinguish his soul from an average humans soul. Most with soul perception will see his soul as a human soul and have no clue of his warlock soul. He is also capable of disguising his wavelength to that of a regular cat. Since there are certain people that would be able to detect lies due to the fluctuations of wavelengths Takeshi has learned to keep his wavelength calm so no one would be able to detect his lies.
+ Familiars - Around the time Takeshi was still going to the DMA in the alternate universe he managed to animate his toy teddy bear. He named it Cookie and cares a great deal for it, calling it a him instead of a her since it didn't seem as feminine. Normally the stuffed bear is used for stuff such as household chores or guarding Takeshi while he sleeps. Cookie means the world to Takeshi and so far he thinks of them as the only beings he could truly trust. Always around Takeshi, he wears them on an article of his clothing all of the time which is usually his sweater. All he has to do is say his name and the familiar will awaken and grow a bit bigger in size. Cookie can't speak but Takeshi can understand every movement he makes since they have a unique link. Usually when he awakens the stick on the bear in toy mode will also grow. So far Cookie has been known to be used as a spy, guard, and even test dummy for training. Cookie is surprisingly fast and is able to move without detection, especially since he has no soul. After sustaining some damage they will revert back to their toy form. Cookie can scale tall buildings with a super jump but other than that and the previously mentioned features, that's all he could do. His other familiars are a bit different and are summoned for combat reasons. When using his shadow magic Takeshi can create familiars that are produced from his own shadows. These familiars aren't as strong individually but more of as a group. Usually producing five to ten shadows in order to attack his enemies Takeshi will order them to attack his enemies. The way Takeshi travels now is by sinking into the ground as a shadow, his body now bends and twists in strange ways. Only when Takeshi uses madness overload is he capable of summoning his unique mask and weapon made of madness which you could learn more about in the description above. After eating many pure human souls fed to him by the cult that raised him he began to grow more aggressive. More powers were revealed and he was coming closer to becoming a true kishin however he started losing himself. He would see illusions and go into these panic attacks. It was awful for the boy. Losing his sanity he said he wouldn't eat another pure human soul until his training to carry out the cults mission would be carried out. Later he would get better and regain his sanity but he would still swear off of eating pure human souls. He uncovered this form after eating the last pure human soul he would eat at the abandoned hospital. Everyone immediately thought that Takeshi was in the process of becoming a kishin because his wavelength was reaching levels that closely resembled that of a regular kishin, however this wasn't the case. Quickly his body changed and his eyes didn't even look normal anymore. Just as everyone was about to celebrate his awakening as a kishin he reverted back to his average form. Wow! Your profile is one the most detailed and well written ones that I have judged. Though, I do foresee some issues arising with Madness Overload and the dice roll effect. Everything else, seems fine and balanced, at least to me. I would advise you to keep in mind that despite your character's strength and standing, even he, could not defeat many of the other characters. Whose speed, strength, madness, etc. are superior to his.

Thank you very much! I worked really hard on him. I was inspired by multiple characters in his abilities and such. ^w^ Spent a nearly a week on him. And I promise he won't be strong enough to take on people like...Noira black wing or the Princess of madness. *Shudders* And I'll just take the illusion thing out then.
