Right, so me in my infinite wisdom decided that doing a Platinum Nuzlocke would be a good idea! And so here we are.

Since I have no reliable way to record 3DS footage, I'm gonna be doing a purely text based thing, so do forgive me.

Anyways, out we go, into DESPAIR..dear gods why.

NOTE: Both Dupe and Shiny Clause are in effect. No other clauses are active

So first off I flipped a coin to decide if I was a girl or a boy. Came up tails, so boy. Used my real name for this as I usually do, but the trainer will be referred to as Nick for my purposes. Rolled a d6 for starter type, 1-2 being chimchar, 3-4 being Turtwig, and 5-6 being Piplup. Five came up, and thus we have ourselves a penguin.

First battle with Barry was the same song and dance I always did. Growl six times as he used Withdraw 6 times. Proceed to grind him into submission. Suck it Barry!

Off to Sandgem we go, and we acquire a Pokedex, and nickname Piplup Fimbulvetr. Thus our journey begins. Ignoring Dawn's pathetic tutorial rant, I pick up some Potions and Pokeballs, and head out to Rt 201 West of Sandgem to find my first capture.

The RNG was merciful and gave me a Starly, who as captured and nicknamed Naotsugu. Not much else to report, my neck is killing me so I'm taking a break here.
