Why is it that everytime your life is going along perfectly, someone has to make it worse?!!! Today one of my friends called me with some disturbing news. Apparently, i have aids (which i don't!!) and that i was going to get this friend drunk, slip something in his drink, and then give him the virus. Someone told his girlfriend this and now she's histerical! Why do people do this?

Wow... some people have no lives... to start s**t like that.
I agree with her, new friends sounds like a good idea.
I'm sorry I don't have any more intellectual input but I misplaced my brain a week or so ago, maybe that's why I have been so happy, I haven't been thinking about life.

I will say that it kinda goes the same for me, well the first little bit. Every time that I vocally say that My life is going so good, something bad happens and crushes me. I have been happy and comfortable with life for the past two weeks, Smiling so often and what not, making people happy, I've just been in a continual good mood... I fear it is comming to an end though, I'm just waiting for my world to crash... But I hope, for the first time that It won't...

That sounds like what happened to me right before my last midterm and reading week. Then again, I had no sleep and had things to look forward to, plus it lasted a grand total of 1.5 days. That's the worst part about good moods, where else can it go but down?

As for Damach, I don't think you should go out and get new friends. For one thing, you never mentioned anything about friends being responsible for all of this. I think the worst thing that your friends have done is buy into it and pass it along. Real friends wouldn't start s**t like this, unless they were compulsive liars or had some reason to get back at you (which isn't even remotely close to being a good excuse for such heinous lies). They really should have come to you first sort things out. My best advice is to get this cleared up, and fast, and if they don't believe you, then it's time to find new friends.

The basic gist of it is there are people out there just waiting for half a reason to mess with things, and make others' lives hell. I can't help but be disappointed that something so juvenile could be believed. The whole "gay=AIDS" mentality is beyond tired, not to mention older than most of us. Now it's just rearing it's ugly head to cause irritation more than anything.

It's amusing how irritating AIDS is, even when we don't have it...

Well, my friend called me and asked me a bunch of questions. He wasn't accusing me of anything, and i told him the truth. We're still good friends but now he wants to find the one responsible and literally kill them. (Keep in mind that my friend is a recent non-homophobe and never went through this before) We think it's my Ex....Justin.

eek That happened to a friend of mine once. He's been out for about four years now. When he first came out, someone told the biggest homophobe in the school that my friend had AIDS and was trying to pass it on to him. My friend got beat in the cafeteria to the point where he blacked out. You're lucky that it was a friend who got told and not someone who hates you.

Its amazing how many idiots there are out there that would go to such heights to tear someones life apart. On your part I only hope things turn for the better... I too have been stuck to some nasty rumors since I came out but nothing like this (yet). What still puzzles me though is that friends took part in this? Im recommending what was said earlier and start looking to befriend others soon. You sound like you need a shoulder to rest on and the ones you have have arent gonna cut it :3

Sorry it's been a while. The rumors died out and he still stayed my friend. But as for justin? Well, i questioned him and he said that he didn't even hear anything about this. And that he wouldn't spread that because it would ruin his social status. But c'mon!!, it was spread at his school, he dated me, and he didn't hear anything about this??, unlikely. Anyways, my life is great again and i'm on the market to look for someone who can make me smile! blaugh
