And I even borrowed gold to do it.

Long ago, I sort of promised myself never to buy directly from the gold shops, but for the sake of fun, try to scour the Exchange, then later, the MP, to find deals so I'll feel even better about my purchases.

However, after 10 years of waiting, Gaia released the item I've always dreamed of getting: Dark Red NM minis. Not the red minis because they were a bit pale. I do love them and did buy them for real money when they were first released in the CS. Not the original minis...well maybe, but they were so expensive then and now. I could have gotten them from the CS several times, but somehow, I couldn't bring myself to do so.

I guess, in a way, my patience paid off and I decided I couldn't wait a second longer. I borrowed 5M from a friend and broke my own rule. Apparently, I don't carry a lot of gold with me, but that's another story. They were on a sale and if I waited too long, the prices might reach 20M. I've never spent more than 1 M or even 100k on the gold shops before...even cumulatively as far as I can remember. And now, I just blew 15M and I don't feel that odd pain. Maybe, because I've been buying straight from the CS and CV that I actually got desensitized? idk Maybe, 15M is definitely not as big as it used to be thanks to those gold gens.

I'm sure many of you have been in similar situations, even borrowed or pawned a few of your items, just to get that one thing.
How did it feel? Any regrets? Buyer's? Seller's?

The most expensive thing I've bought was Lucky the Cat, and it took pretty much all my gold, but I'm happy with it ^^ <333
