For years, Eggman has been beaten again and again by the same trio of Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles - even other hedgehogs like Shadow, Amy, and Silver have joined in the little game of "Beat the Eggman". However, after reviewing his many defeats and watching several other fights between Sonic and other forces, evil scientist has come to a conclusion...
The only thing that can beat a hedgehog is another hedgehog - not a copy like Metal Sonic, but a true flesh-and-blood hedgehog.
As such, what happens when Sonic faces off against Eggman's latest creations, a genetically engineered hedgehog with split-personality disorder named Panic? What happens when both Panic and Sonic are injured and sent flying, Panic being forced to regroup in a meadow where a certain pink hedgehog finds him?

(Note: plot can be edited if my RP partner wants one or more OCs too and/or wants to play as a female other than Amy and/or wants to play as an additional series female. May or may not encompass some of the games, haven't decided yet. Fair warning: expect major timeline mixups, since I'm only interested in the games for the actual gameplay... and because Sonic is a badass. xd )

Name: Panic
Species: Genetically Engineered Hedgehog?
Abilities: Varies with split personalities (see Personality), ability to harness the Spectrum Force (see Weapon of Choice). Two to three personalities whose "colors" are adjacent to each other on the Color Wheel (or White and one or two of the others) can "co-pilot" the body, so to speak, though the more personalities are thrown into the mix and the longer they're "co-piloting", the more risk there is of Black Panic coming out.
Weapon of choice: Spectrum Force, an energy created by tapping into the power of emotions.
Personality: Varies
White Panic - Main personality. A blank slate of sorts, waiting to be molded by the world around him. Has a kind heart and is good at listening, though he also has what he calls "a saving-people thing". Can use the Spectrum Force to create solid constructs, though he has to constantly feed energy said constructs, and the number of objects he can create is limited by the amount of focus he puts into them.
Black Panic - A cold, soulless monster that hates everything around him. Can use the Spectrum Force to create soulless puppets he calls Shades.
Red Panic - A violent, foul-mouthed brute with a temper that is easily ignited and, if approached properly, just as easily snuffed out, though he is also surprisingly passionate in everything he does. Can use the Spectrum Force to create and control flames fueled by his rage or passion - rage-fueled flames are more powerful, but passion-fueled flames are more easily controlled.
Orange Panic - A stubborn, perverted flirt who is wary of almost anyone. Can use the Spectrum Force to enhance his strength to superhuman levels fueled by his willpower.
Yellow Panic - A disturbingly cheerful and childlike being who is easily distracted by anything shiny, though surprisingly, he is actually the best on-the-fly thinker, often working with Blue to devise battle strategies. Can harness the Spectrum Force with his happiness to turn into a beam of light.
Green Panic - A kind, gentle pacifist. Is capable of using the Spectrum force to heal and create barriers, though if forced into a fight, he can also use it to control the flora around him.
Blue Panic - A calm intellectual who is the brainiac of the group, in charge of long-term strategies and plans. Can use the Spectrum Force for telekinesis and flight.
Purple Panic - A quiet, observant personality that rarely speaks, but when he does, he speaks in riddles and proverbs. The other personalities listen to him when he speaks, however, mostly because he is usually right. Occasionally receives visions via the Spectrum Force, and has precognitive abilities (albeit only a few seconds into the future).
Panic Spectrum - Not so much a personality as it is White Panic temporarily sharing control with the other personalities bar Black - in other words, Panic's Super Sonic equivalent. He can use the Spectrum force to create constructs, but unlike White Panic, the constructs have less limits and are self-sustaining to an extent. WARNING - Can only sustain it for 1-2 minutes before Black Panic worms his way into the whole setup.
Demon Panic - What happens when Black Panic is mixed with Spectrum Panic. Can saturate his body with the Spectrum Force in order to turn into a demon of mass destruction.
Gray Panic - There is an extra Panic personality, but it stays deeply hidden in Panic's subconscious - not even the other Panics what he's like or even what his abilities are other than the fact that he is almost completely apathetic. They don't even know his name - they just call him "Gray Panic" for the sake of calling him something.
History: Panic was created by Eggman using a portion of Sonic's DNA and the power of a Chaos Emerald. Eggman then brainwashed him into thinking he was the hero and Sonic was the villain and put him through rigorous tests and training, during which Panic learned to harness the Spectrum Force. Now, several months later, Eggman is going to allow Panic out into the world at last in order for him to face off against Sonic...

Appearance: Would be a dead ringer for Sonic if not for the pitch-black skin. His fur and eyes change color depending on which personality is on control at the time. (For example, White Panic has white fur and white eyes with black schlerae, Red Panic has red fur and red eyes, White/Red cooperating results in pink fur and red eyes with black schlerae, White/Red/Green results in white fur with red and green streaks and one red and one green eye with black schlerae, Green/Yellow cooperating results in half green and half yellow fur with one yellow eye and one green eye (think Two-Face from the Batman series), Blue/Purple/Red cooperating results in purple fur with red and blue streaks and multicolored red/blue/purple eyes, Panic Spectrum has constantly shifting rainbow-colored fur and eyes, etc.)

Fair enough. Do you want to start or should I?

Panic (currently Red version) scowled as he and Sonic warily circled each other, each ready to attack at the slightest sign of weakness in their other opponent; however, while Sonic had taken a few hits, Panic was clearly the one worse off. "Firstly, I've told you not to call me that. Secondly, your chances of winning look low - I'm trying to think of anything that could turn this around, but I'm coming up with nothing..."
"Ooh, ooh! What about that shiny trick we were working on with Orange?"
'Eh, looks like it's our only shot...' Panic smirked at Sonic, his fur shifting to orange with streaks of red and yellow and his eyes becoming a constantly shifting mix of the same three colors, almost as if they were twin flames... just before he became covered in red flames and launched himself into the air. "Let's see you get up from this, fucker! HEAT FLASH!" With that, suddenly Panic was a hedgehog-sized ball of flame and light, heading straight for Sonic. Sonic met him head-on with a Homing Attack boosted by an Insta-Shield, the resulting collision of forces causing a massive explosion that sent both hedgehogs flying.
Several minutes later, Panic was laying in a crater unconscious and heavily wounded, his fur back to the usual white that indicated the main personality was back in control.

Panic eventually awoke, white eyes with black schlera opening groggily. Blinking as he regained his bearings, he looked around curiously, puzzled as to where he was. 'Looks like some sort of healer's cottage, maybe...?' He then caught sight of the purple female hedgehog, watching her curiously, completely oblivious to the fact that Orange Panic was drooling over her in the confines of his mind.

"Thank you," Panic murmured shyly, taking the herbal tea and sipping it... and then promptly diving in to the soup, though he did try to show at least some table manners (not much, but some). He listened to her explanation before nodding slowly in understanding. "Oh... did you by any chance find me in a crater of some sort?" It would certainly explained why he ached all over, even with the herbs. "I'm Panic, by the way... well, the main one of me, anyway."

Panic paused in his eating, blinking at Peace's last sentence and becoming a little lost in thought as something occurred to him: "Er, I just realized... exactly where is home from here?" 'Er, any of you guys have any idea to get back to Eggman?'
"No ******** clue," Red replied bluntly.
"No, now hush, I'm busy ogling," Orange answered distractedly.
"Nope!" was Yellow's cheerful reply.
"No... sorry," Green apologized softly.
"If I knew exactly how far we were sent flying and in what direction, I'd be able to calculate the optimal route to get us back, but unfortunately, our eyes were closed," Blue answered ruefully.
"Not everything is as it seems," was Purple's cryptic-as-usual reply, getting the others' attention. "In order for a baby bird to learn of the world around him, he must first leave the comfort of his egg."
'I see you're as cryptic as usual, Purple.' Taking a wild guess as to what his wisest aspect meant, Panic focused back in on Peach. "I honestly have no idea how to get back home... maybe I'll just look around and explore the area for a bit? I never really got out much until recently," Panic admitted sheepishly.

"Yes, please! ...Er, to both the offer of hospitality and the food offer," Panic added sheepishly, feeling his stomach growl hungrily... epic fights between good (him) and evil (Sonic) made him hungry.

Panic ate ravenously - he hadn't really been educated in table manners outside of "don't talk with your mouth full" and "don't chew with your mouth open" - even as he watched Peace make the different medicinal pastes, Green Panic watching closely for any new pastes... and Orange Panic blatantly trying to convince White Panic to ogle Peace as opposed to watching her work.
