Ela'wadiyi Tattoos - Update
Starting in February 2014, Ela'wadiyi tattoos have changed.
In character, they remain an integral part of the culture and tell the story of each member of the pride starting from the time they became part of the pride, whether they were born here or joined as a rogue. As far as official images are concerned, however, adult stage images from Ela'wadiyi breedings will no longer receive full-body tattoos. Amounts of tattoos on cub and adolescent stages have also been changed accordingly.
This change is to hopefully make Ela'wadiyi breedings easier to color and, therefore, easier to obtain. We all love full body tattoos but we'd rather see more Ela'wadiyi than more tattoos.
ICly, nothing has changed. This incomplete tattooing is a reflection of how there is still a lot of life to be lived even after you reach adulthood. With or without the OOC image to support it, Ela'wadiyi continue to gain tattoos throughout their lives after reaching adulthood.
