So I woke up this morning and I see... snow! I live in Oklahoma, so we get all kinds of weather a lot.
In fact, it's usually a conversation starter at work (I'm a grocery cashier).
The first thing I did when I got up: got some warm clothes on, got my jacket, got a broom and a bag
of rock salt and went outside and started clearing out the snow off the walkway and my mom's car.
Personally I feel that snow is a bit of a drag, but ice is a bigger a-hole.
While I don't see any ice, chances are that it'll freeze overnight. =__=
Bonus? I have to work until next Saturday. YAY.
Another bonus? We're suppose to get way more of this the coming week. DOUBLE YAY.
So for the sake of discussion (IN THE CHATTERBOX? LULZ, nah I'm kidding), do you like winter weather?
Do you prefer to melt in the summer instead? How's the weather in your neck of the woods?

I'd feel bad but I live in phoenix, so...
I used to be alright with winter weather, I lived in Connecticut for a while and I remember how miserably tenacious cold was. Dig your way to the car, try to get in, can't & defrost car, ect... Winter itself actually becomes a chore. But the sweaters & cocoa is good. Sweatpants & coffee, very good.
At least it's cool for a snow day smile

In my country the weather is always a hot topic, it's so unpredictable.
I prefer dry, clear weather without wind. The best feeling is to walk barefoot on the grass when it's late spring or summer. <33

I just hope that ice isn't too involved too. If it gets bad enough that I can't go to work, that's fine.
But if it knocks out my power... orz

True that, Although I love snowy landscapes, I hate the cold. I'm already wearing 4 layers of clothing at the moment and 2 socks and it isn't even freezing... >w<

➵ ♥Yeeeesh, at my work, our heater sucks, so when it's a cold day, the store will probably be cold too.
I usually wear a fleece jacket + 2 layers on, especially if I'm near the door and it's almost always open. neutral
When I was younger I use to like playing in the snow. Now I'm old and fat and wishing it was warmer already.

I enjoy the winter because, well, I usually don't have to work when its nasty and cold out (I'm a farmer, so we take our rest during the colder season). The snow is nice--it can makes scenery that doesn't normally look so great, well, beautiful and peaceful. It also makes people stay in doors, more often, which is great for cuddling. heart
Honestly, though, if you ask me what I prefer, I'm a Spring and Fall lover, all the way!
