I was looking at the Gary Oak 10 badges pic, and I realized

only 2 of those badges come from the game. There are more than 8 gyms in the anime Kanto, why are we only stuck with those. I think we should get to choose which gyms we fight.

Gary probably hacked those badges to impress his fan girls and make Ash angry that he didn't have 10 of them- in all reality Gary only had two wins- that's my theory.

Boulderbadge, Cascade Badge, Rainbow Badge. Just saying.

Also, the initial idea was that there were many different gyms and only had to beat 8 of them to qualify for the league. But there was no real that said you couldn't earn more than 8. Nintendo seems to have scrapped that idea somewhere down the road.
