Basically? Just find avi's within this thread that you like, and then quote and compliment them!
...I don't know why I bothered with the 'above you' part, although technically, they're ALL above your own post due to the fact that your quote will appear later in the thread! Just skim through, and if you find someone's avi, or even just something about that avi, that catches your eye, let them know!
Simple as that!
HOWEVER. If you feel like criticizing somebody's avatar, DON'T DO IT.
I don't know how much I can emphasize that point; if people wanted to be told what someone else thinks is 'wrong' with the avatar that they created, then they would have posted in Avatar Talk or the Arena! (which are excellent places for feedback, I should add).
JUST BE POSITIVE! If you're not sure if what you're saying is okay, open a new tab and quickly look over the "Member Etiquette and Warning System," written by our knowledgeable and well-versed Clasela!

The use of black, the eyepatch, and the petals set such a brilliant, somber mood to your avatar... it's fantastic! I really like the use of the few dabs of colour to add an emphasis and emotion to the avi itself... you did a really amazing job, whether you meant to or not! razz

A ton of people do blue avis but I think yours is the best I've seen so far! It doesn't have the generic 'blue avi' feel. Idk if I even made sense @_@ HUGS heart

The use of colors is so rich and beautiful, it extremely wear well together. It like a royal crown came to life. (I know my analogy doesn't make sense at all but that what I was thinking.)

I love how your avatar fits in perfectly with the background. heart She looks like the protagonist of a fantasy novel starting out her adventure. I also like how you layer the bird with the arm mod so it looks like it's perched on your hand.

One to sweep some loved one off their feet Im sure. emotion_yatta Thank you! The "Halfling" part of my username comes from the fact that my character is a half-elf. However it also refers her lack of confidence in her potential to fulfil her own heroic ideals.. She is only ever "half" a heroine, trying to make up for her past mistakes. You could say my OC's story revolves around my character's struggle to do "the right thing" in a world without a clear cut black and white morality. Yeata Zi- Your avatar is full of personality! I particularly love the expression on her face, it's full of mischief. The bold colours work well together too.
