So my faithful old Asus Laptop is having issues with charging. As such it is almost unusable since no power gets to the battery or to the rest of the computer. The plug for the power cord seems to not be making contact properly with the socket inside the computer. Due to this, most of my time online will be limited to when i can get on the families laptop which, for obvious reasons, I can't take with me when I go to anywhere. Hopefully my computer is either a) easily fixed(AKA nearly free) b) miraculously fixes itself or I will have to buy a new one once i save enough money up to do so(which probably won't be for a while with my current financial state)

So if just a warning that you might not see too many posts from me for the next while

Yeah i tried that and it didn't work still. i even ook it apart to look at the part from the inside of the computer and nothing seemed to be obviously out of order. its just looking into the socket from the outside that you can see some if it is out of place and the metal looks heat distorted on that piece. the battery lasts about as long as it did when i bought the computer 3 years ago
