Neji Fighting Style not really that good agenst someone that attack you from long range with great power. there is only a few people I see that can bring Neji down! start with the people that beat him easy and work my way down Shikamaru (in a fight he is able to reach out at you with his shadow and able to bind you body. But not just that, he can also choke you to death with his shadow, or turn his shadow into spear like darts and send them at you. In the end Shikamaru might just be able to kill Gaara pritty easy aswell.) Next is Rock Lee, Yes Mellee fighting Neji is a bad idea but Lee is just fast anof not to be hit by Neji attacks and yet in the same time has the power to Shatter Neji bones, Last And least Gaara just boy out lasting Neji. There are others but I did not feel like listing them. talk2hand

Gaara takes it EASY. Neji can only block chakra points if he can hit his opponent, and he just isn't fast enough.

Gaara's sand guarantees him safety, especially with Neji's kind of speed. As of what I've seen, the only person to fight Gaara who has ever exceeded the speed of his sand is Rock Lee, and his speed exceeds Neji's by far anyway.

I'd have to say gaara, although neji has the byakugan and speed even rock lee barely escaped gaara's desert coffin so the chances of neji avoiding desert coffin are 1300 to one.

Gaara's sand gives him defense against Neji's style of attack and longer range for his own attacks.
Granted, Neji has that technique, forgive me for forgetting the name, where he spins like a top and generates all that chakra. . .that would probably deflect most of Gaara's attacks. But he can't keep doing that indefinitely, and Gaara's sand manipulation doesn't even always require conscious thought on his part.
Gaara takes this one, easily.

Gaara takes it home easily. Neji isn't fast enough to get in range to use his techniques, and even if he did, we don't know if by this exam he could already do the chakra knife like he did with spider guy (don't remember the name) to stop the flow of chakra through gaara's sand so..

gaara is crazy with fighting i cant explain it
but iu think neji would win cause he could block of the flow of chakra and he could see 360 around him so gaara couldnt sneak up on him
