Name: Eidolon, meaning a delusion, hallucination, mirage, etc
Personality: Eidolon is very much a daddy's boy. He wants to be just like dad when he grows up and one day rule the pride. Of course, he doesn't know yet that he'd have to defeat the very saber he looks up to so much to secure that spot, but hey. A cub can dream, can't he? Full of vim and vigor, is there nothing Eidolon won't try at least once, whether it's a new food, game, or dare. A leap, then look kind of cub, he'll grow out of his recklessness and become a fierce fighter and protector of the pride. For now, though, he's a rough and tumble ball of fluff that looks for his father's approval in everything he does.
Prompt Answer: Eidolon sighed softly as another day dawned with his father leaving the den. He knew he had an important job to do as the boss, but he wished more than anything that he could go with him. Spending time with Bloodbane was his favorite thing in the whole world and, for him, there was never enough time when the large male returned home. That and he was the only other male in the family and, when he was gone, he was at the mercy of his sisters. Ugh...

But today he had something to look forward to. While he didn't get to go with Bloodbane, he did get to explore his home for the first time without any real chaperon! ...kind of. That's what he told himself, anyway. The wardens would be keeping an eye on the cubs, but for the most part he'd be free to roam as he pleased.

Getting a head start on his siblings, he tore into the valley with gusto, flinging soft dirt with his paws as his little legs carried him forward. Ah, it was great to be free! Running as fast as the birds flew, as strong as a mammoth, deadly as a pack of dire wolves, fearless as his father! It was only when the ground started to grow a bit soggy that he realized he was approaching the hot springs. He knew of rivers, having been to one a few times with the wardens to drink, but he had only heard stories of the hot springs. Putting on the breaks, he slid to a halt at the banks of the springs and stuck his nose over the water. Phew...it smelled kind of bad...but it was warm! Steam tickled his nostrils and he sneezed, which sent him tumbling down the small bank and into the water.

He lept out almost instantly, yelping in surprise. That was hot! He gave himself a shake before turning to bare his little teeth at the water that had startled him so. That would teach it a lesson for sure! His adorable growl, to him, sounded as fierce as the ones he heard from the adults. Ha...that would show that tricky water. It might be nice to go in there after running around in the snow that edged their lands, but now? No thank you.

Personality Blurp: She's curious about everything, always sticking her nose in where it doesn't belong and often getting herself in trouble. She's adventurous, always wanting to find out what's just over that next hill. And maybe that next one. Just a peek.
Will she stay a rogue with Mom or join Dad's pride?She'll stay with her dad in pride life for a while, but as she grows older, her moms wandering way will start to show more and more. She'll start to push the edges of his territory, until one day, she leaves them behind to become a rogue herself, though she might stop back in as her travels bring her back around.

Name: Ezhno ; for this little guy is used to walking alone and walking his own path. It loosely translates to He walks alone.
Personality: Ezhno can be stoic at times, used to a life of longing for affection from his father. He understands; his father must preform his duties and make his own way. Plus the wardens are wonderful; telling him stories, teaching him a number of things. He enjoys their wisdom and experience, and can't wait to get some of his own. Still - some affection would be nice. It is because of this that Ezhno strives to show his care for all. While he can be stoic and responsibility driven, this little Saber has already shown a great care for those in his pride, be they his siblings or the wardens he spends so much time with. He can be quiescent; he believes that just being near-by is enough; actions, and being there, speak louder than anything Ezhno could say. He has nothing to share; but a great ambition. Except maybe today, in the valley?
Prompt Answer:

Yes - yes finally! Ezhno would get to have some adventures of his own! Stories to tell that were his own - it wouldn't do to just boast about his pride, however skilled and interesting all of them were. It was his turn to be interesting!

So, looking around, he was assailed with many new scents - the musty smell of his pride and the crisp smell of the air - the burnt cold from the volcano and the strangely fresh smell of the grass. The first thing he could do to acquaint himself with his environment was to roll around in the grass, the the small, pin-like blades tickling the skin beneath his fur. What other wonders were there?

So he bounded away, to the far reaches of the valley, darting past members of his pride with a vague nod in greeting. However, he looked back: at his siblings, looking over the pride. All those that he cared for unconditionally. Maybe he should invite some of them along...At least, he should probably make sure they didn't get too hurt, or into too much mischief, right? He decided to go for a light-paced stroll, clear his thoughts.

As he weighed up his freedom against his care for his family, a hawk flew overhead with a stark cry, startling him. He stumbled a little, paw touching the coolest of substances. That...was strange: ice fringed the borders of the valley. Just how far had he wandered? When he took his gaze back to the pride, he noticed the smallest of speckles in the distance. Ooops. And now he had begun to feel hungry! Where was that hawk?

Searching for a decent place to crouch, Ezhno sloppily hid himself in an outcropping of rock, his stripes sticking out like a sore thumb. He had hoped the avian creature wouldn't notice. Then, without warning, it swooped at him from nowhere -right for him. Growling, he wriggled his bum, and pounced...not high enough. The hawk cawed again, mocking him. THen it circled away from him and - oh no. At one of his siblings. Look what he had done!

Racing faster than he had thought his little legs could carry him, he stopped the hawk short, probably before his sibling had even noticed. THis time his legs sprang with more force, and Ezhno caught some tail-feathers. Circling upward, the hawk seemed reluctant for another strike, then flew away into the distance....Boy oh boy, would that be a story to tell! He couldn't stifle the wonder if his father would be proud of him if he told him the story, and began heading back into the heart of the valley, for some relaxation.

(I hope the hawk thing wasn't god modding. If it was, let me know and I can change it!)

Name: Amberstare (amber: color of his eyes. stare: action done with eyes)
Personality: Amberstare is a very loyal member of the pride. He stands up for its beliefs and traditions, probably since his father's the current boss. He is ambitious, wanting to one day lead the pride, but would prefer to wait his turn, so that Bloodbane would not have to be challenged by his own son.
Prompt Answer: Jumping into the air, the cub was finally awake. Exploration? As he was about to step out of the den, he got stopped. It was his father, here to greet them a safe journey and then vanished. Amberstare blinked, watching his father leave filled with pride. He knew he would grow up like the great tiger, and that was all he wanted. He suggested going to the lave pool since the kept hearing word about it, so off they went, the whole bunch of wardens and cubs. To make things better, Amberstare was the one who got to lead the party!

So he led, taking in all the smells, he even caught the scent marks of various pride members, but did not know whose they were! That'll take some time though. He knew he was almost there, since he was able to hear voices, but then one of the wardens stopped the cub in his tracks and instructed the cubs to hide. Looking at what the warden was warning him about, Amberstare's eyes blew wide open. It was Bloodbane, and a rogue. They looked like they were about to fight. Struggling to break free of the group, Amberstare boldly dashed towards the two tigers and clung onto the back of the rogue male. "I've got this Dad!" he squeaked, realizing how high he was for once. Maybe this was a bad idea..
