Painting – While Arias maintains a fairly busy lifestyle, he loves to take some time to himself and just vent through painting. He usually refrains from making this a social hobby, as he likes to spend the time just clearing his thoughts. As such, he rarely has human subjects. He enjoys still paintings, landscapes and painting from his imagination and often experiments with different styles. When not painting, himself, he enjoys attending galleries and exhibits, and though he has a desire to, has yet to publicly display anything.
Volunteering – Arias donates a fair share of his time to helping the causes of others; he enjoys being a part of something bigger. Most of his volunteering comes in the form of local cleanups or mentoring. He enjoys helping people and enjoys the friendly, social nature of such events. He designates a few hours each week and rotates where he spends his time based on mood or needs. Contributing gives him a sense of fulfillment and he is eager to share such with anyone he can rope into the practice with him.
Exploring – While a city isn't ideal to make new discoveries, Arias enjoys getting out and interacting with people while getting to know the area around him. When in the city, he enjoys exploring back routes, old buildings, tiny stores—anything he can get into. He isn't shy; he'll do so with or without company and enjoys meeting people along the way. When he can get away from Destiny City (which he tries to do at least once a month) he enjoys exploring nature. While solitary trips are good for him, he enjoys bringing along a friend or two. He's willing to scope out anywhere; he just wants to appreciate and enjoy the world around him.
Baking – Baking is more than a hobby to Arias; he's made it into a career. He's studied for years and is currently working at an independently owned bakery. Arias is passionate about baking and enjoys learning all sorts of recipes as well as creating his own. He is very social about his baking and loves talking about it and sharing what of it he can. Thursday nights after work, he teaches a baking class.
Virtues:
Honest –Words define a person as much as actions do, and Arias takes both very seriously, so he strives to keep a clean slate and go about life in an honest fashion. Trustworthy almost to a fault, Arias would rather keep his mouth shut than try to lie—never mind that he isn’t any good at straying far from the truth. While white lies are of a slightly different nature, Arias strives to keep his slate clean. He sees no merit in deception and is a fairly open book. Arias is a good choice when you are looking for a straight answer or a trustworthy companion.
Diligent – Once Arias invests himself in something, he's in it for the long run. He puts his whole into everything he does, and can be expected to always give his best effort. He takes great care in completing all of his tasks and will always see them through to the end. He isn't one to pick something up and drop it, so in both projects and relationships, Arias is a reliable companion. He pays attention to his work and to those around him and frequently goes the extra mile to see that everything comes together as best as possible.
Compassionate – Arias is an empathetic soul, even to those he doesn’t really know that well. Arias wants to help, and really tries his hardest. He sympathizes easily and his reaches out to those in need whenever he can. He is gentle towards others and genuinely cares about those around him, frequently extending himself to be available to them. He has no problem lending an ear or providing additional support; he finds it easy to relate to people and offer them what kindness he has to provide.
Flaws:
Overprotective – Arias has a bit of a hero complex; it is a side effect of his constant desire to help others. He enjoys being in the role of a protector so much that he sometimes slips into it when he isn't needed. His willingness to stand up and defend others puts him in a position where he sometimes offends those close to him. He can sometimes feel like he is a bit smothering given his inclination to want to keep everyone safe and his frequent concern can sometimes make him a wet blanket.
Naïve He is as trusting as he is trustworthy—which he can’t seem to learn is a mistake. Not everyone values their words as much as Arias does and this makes him an easy target for manipulation. While wary when a deal seems too good to be true, Arias gives the benefit of the doubt in every situation he can afford to, and when things go awry, he forgives and, while not necessarily forgets, sticks to the logic that ‘it won’t happen again’. Seemingly sincere promises and approaches appeal to him far too easily, and while he’s certainly not gullible enough to believe everything anyone says, his willingness and want to believe someone means he sets himself up as an easy target.
Indecisive – Arias might strive to give good advice and fix other’s problems, but when it comes down to his own, he’s at a loss. He hasn’t really planned for his future and doesn’t really know what he wants out of life, so he spends a lot of time tending to the wants and needs of others. He might have a few things planned for the day—go to school, maybe paint something, maybe go for a jog…Arias has no goals, and no real motivation to set any. He lives in the present and doesn't plan too far ahead in the future; too much can happen between now and next week, so he enjoys life for what it is. Arias doesn’t know what he want and is indecisive and passive regarding the everyday things in life; he’s worried about making the wrong choice or letting down the people he cares for that he’s too nervous to make even semi-important decisions on his own or without some sort of guidance. He greatly values outside opinions and can sometimes come across as annoying when he needs constant reassurance that he's doing the right thing.

Hair: Shoulder length chestnut hair; his bangs are the nearly the same length as his hair and are parted slightly off center to show his face. His hair is layered so that it flips, giving it a light, feathery look towards the bottom.
