Thoughts running through my head
Keeping me awake
Going as fast as a speeding train
It's more than I can take
I stare outside my window
And watch the rising sun
Another dreamless sleepless night
Unable to forget someone
Your face I can see clearly
The absolute love in your eyes
Almost a mirage in the distance
Faded now into the skies
Pressed against the glass
A tear runs down my face
Wrapping my arms around myself
Pretending it's your embrace
