After 50 years of battle and mayhem, it was almost a nightmare for the Captain of the Eleventh Squad. He was no where different then he was all those years ago, 50 to be exact, but his time in that Underground hell hole was over. Now that the Ash war is over and people have returned to repairing and rebuilding things, Atsuhiko Ai Haruko had been forced to help as well. A lot of progress had been done and soon, the place is running like it used to. Now, they were simply waiting for the future to unfold for them. Well, not Atsuhiko.

Atsuhiko was perfectly fine with where he was. He didn't want to be the kidnapped or the kidnapper. He wanted to fight with his Squad members and kick their dumb butts and feel better about himself. This was probably something he wasn't able to do in a pretty long time. But, for now, he was fine doing what he was doing now, sleeping.

Light snores could be heard from the gruff Captain. His room was one of the doors next to the koi pond which is placed in the middle of his estate. He dreamt of becoming the new Soul King and ruling with an iron fist, but he knew darn well sitting on an old thrown for centuries without any action in reality would be totally boring, so he would never dear challenge the Soul King face to face, no matter how strong he was deemed to be. The Soul King would probably banish his soul to a different dimension for years and years, so that would also suck. But, his dream made it seem way cooler than in reality. It was worth it than most other things. As he slept on, he heard the sound of someone walking along the walkway around the Koi Pond, heading to his room. He groaned, covering his head with a pillow to cancel the noise out. It soon came apparent that whoever it was wanted to talk as they banged on the door to his room. Groaning tiredly, he got up, his hair in a messy war of stray strands of hair. He groggily got up, not having his shirt on. All he wore was his socks and the usual black uniform pants. He slapped his face to wake himself a bit before getting up and opening the door. Looking at the female, he took a minute to register who she was in his tired state and once he did, he sighed tiredly and slapped his hand on his face, trying to get more sleep out of him. What was she doing here?

"Tanka." He said sternly, narrowing his tired eyes at her. "What are you doing here?" He asked, leaning against the doorway to look at the red-headed one. Despite his messy demeanor, his room was actually very tidy. His clean clothes to wear for the morning were folded on the table sitting at the side of his bed. His bed was placed a few feet from the doorway and the covers were astray from the fact he just woke up from it. The closet was filled with different colored Uniform assembly with multiple white haoris to wear, several in different shades of blue. Kimono's were in another closet with some casual wear you would wear in the Human Realm. The closets were closed, however. the door to his bathroom was closed and the door to the other parts of his estate connected to his room was closed too. The only thing messy at the moment was his bed and his appearance. Strange for such a messy guy.

Glaring at her sheer cheerfulness, it made him sick. Listening to her question about it being forbidden to visit someone, he almost nodded, if it weren't for her jumping up onto him with her arms grabbed on tightly to his shoulders. By instinct, due to his younger sisters doing this, he had no choice but to hold onto her, using his arms to keep her up before they both fell. The tighter grip on him showed that she didn't want to fall. With a sigh, he looked at her, glaring into her blind eyes. Wait, blind eyes? She had a covering over them. Thinking, he shook his head. Maybe she had done something to worsen her eye sight to the point something messed up her eyes. Watching her, he soon sighed, and rolled his eyes. "No, I don't believe so." He said, his face relaxing as he kept his bored state of expression on.

It's been a while since he had seen her. Well, if awhile you mean two days, then yeah. She had been visiting him several times a week after his 'hospital visit'. And, more and more, he has gotten used to it. He wouldn't be so remotely attached to her to the point that if she didn't show up, he would freak out, but if she didn't, then he would find himself watching outside as if waiting for her to come. He never knew what it meant, but from talking Jousake about it, it was something friends do. Friend. He hadn't heard that word in about 2,000 years, probably even more. Either way, it was hard to explain the way he acted. Hopefully it stops. It started to get annoying as he thought back about it. He still, however, acted as tough as bricks though.

Hearing his remark about his sharp gaze, his glare became sharper. He rolled his eyes at her question. "If I did, then you wouldn't be such a pain in my a**." He said sternly, not believing that pout of hers for one second before she released his grip on him. He released his grip, hoping to have dropped her, but she seemed to have gotten down safe enough to land on her feet. Soon, his eye twitched as she felt her hand on his cheek, pinching it. Veins pulsed from his head and cheek as he gritted his teeth. He glared at her darkly, growling. "Grr! TANKA!!" He growled, glaring darkly at the red-headed female scurrying into his room. He soon quickly followed after her, ready to bluntly throw her out so he could get back to sleeping.

Tanka laughed rather loudly, found of her little game she had played, not knowing the outcome yet. She heard the captain shout and felt the vibrations of his feet. Tanka became a little fearful, scared of what the so called "Kenpachi" would do to her. Tanka didn't quite know the surroundings well, so quite a few times Tanka bumped into things. Tanka stilled laughed rather loudly as she hid behind a few things, attempting to at lest.

"You wouldn't hurt a handicap would you?" Tanka pleaded in a joking manner. She peaked out to where she was, clearly so he could see. She grinned wildly. Tanka gained excitement from how he reacted. It was such an innocent manner. Usually people attempt to hide there emotions when things like that happen. Not him, he goes full force. It's extremely entertaining, and enjoyable to Tanka.

Tanka laughed happily at ducking and diving through the room as Atsuhiko attempted to threaten her. He had never been able to actual do harm to her due to people interrupting, which was a perfect time once again. Still hiding behind a chair, Tanka peeked out like a child would and noticed a familiar spiritual pressure and presence in the area. Being a bit distracted, she hadn't noticed until now. Tilting her head, Tanka wondered why the kid always seemed to show up when she was with Atsuhiko.

Tanka grinned knowing Atsuhiko was watching her, but that wouldn't stop her with her silly ways. Hopping up Tanka walked out of her spot and grinned at the new comer "You're my life saver." Which she would then waltz her way over to Atsuhiko and poke him in the side before sticking her tougne out "No matter what you do, even if you beat me, I'll still come back to mess with yah." Tanka said happily and jokingly.

Surely he wouldn't actually hurt her, they were friends at least, and she was honestly causing no harm to Atsuhiko so why cause harm to her? It was logic in her head.

Atsuhiko looked at Tanka and narrowed her eyes. Suke was merely there for the moment. The next time, he would murder her. Watching her walk over to him after pronouncing that Suke was her life saver, he flinched as he was poked in the side and growled, rubbing the side she had poked. He rolled his eyes at her joke, but knew she wouldn't actually physically hurt or, and he didn't think he could be able to verbally hurt her either. He just had no idea what to do with that girl. Looking at Suke as he explained their progress, he smirked. Of course Suke would get bored. He always did. Deciding it over, he nodded, ready for a little spar. "Alright! I'll join ya. Just gotta shower first." He said, soon looking at Tanka. "I'm taking a shower. Catch up with my brother while I'm gone." He said, soon walking to the bathroom door, opening it, and soon walking inside, closing it behind him.
