Storm Wind stoked the edge of the glowing fire with this hoof, pushing stray pieces deeper into the circle of stones. The night was clear, and the stars provided a beautiful backdrop. Things like this were much needed breaks for him; every now and then, he just had to relax.
While he waited for his guest to arrive, Storm Wind cleared his mind and took in the calm scene. The plan was for him to tell Cadence a story to add to her collection, but he wasn't sure what he wanted to say yet. He wanted to talk about his favorite subject, saving maidens in distress, but the problem was he really hadn't saved anyone yet. Sure, he had helped out here and there, but never in a life or death situation. He really wanted to get out there and have the type of adventures that were worthy of the campfire story telling session he had arranged.
For tonight though, he would have to add a bit color to his story and exaggerate a little.
