 Mae shifted from side to side, both front hooves lifted up and placed down again as she fidgeted on the spot from her vantage point. She was stood on the crest of a hill that looked down onto a small two-legger settlement, watching as the people moved around, going about their day to day live, her eyes raking over the small things she could just see that were around the dwellings, looking for anything that could easily be swiped without drawing attention to herself.
She watched intently, flicking her mane from her face every now and then, her tail gently swishing behind her as she stood in the sunshine. Something seemed to be happening as she stood there, the people began moving and then gathering in a group..some sort of meeting? Whatever it was, now would be an ideal time to quietly saunter over and see if there was anything particularly pretty that caught her eye and cried out to be taken away.
Mae left the hill, and walked slowly down towards the settlement, taking a circular route, keeping tents between herself and the sight line of the two-legged ones. When she was closer still, she stopped again, watching to see if anyone had taken note of her approach, and paused for a few moments to take in her surroundings, making sure she knew where she could dash off to should be caught red-hoofed.

 Calibor hard scouted out the village for a few days now, learning their habits and figuring out when would be the best time to go and and grab anything that caught his attention.So he had gone in earlier that morning, avoiding the every day people as they moved about their day, by now this was too easy. He'd done it so often that it was basically habit. As he say something that caught his attention he would gently slip it around his hooves and move on.
He had found a nice hiding spot as the humans began to move about again, and was admiring his prizes as they moved about. Once they all grouped up in one play again, he was ready to move on, but to his surprised he spotted something pink moving throughout the village. Was that who he thought it was? Why he hadn't seen her in a little while and it seemed like she might be putting some of her new skills to use. He smirked as he made his way over to her, sneaking up quietly behind her, he couldn't resist the urge to spook her just a bit. Surely she was a little tense from all this sneaking around.
He got behind her and spoke her name in chiding way, "Mae~ What are you doing here?" Should she turn around she'd notice the trinkets he'd already gotten his hooves on, but he was ready to go and he should warn Mae that soon the humans would be wandering through their village again. In a few minutes they'd be asking to be caught if they stayed.

Mae was completely engrossed in watching the comings and goings of the villagers, so much so that when Calibor spoke she almost jumped out of her skin, stumbling a little as she did so. She regained her balance as quickly as she lost it, and rounded on him with a cross expression.
'For spirits sake! You could have made a bit more noise as you approached..' she said, shaking her head, but then she smiled, as it was good to see the stallion again.
'I was just about to go down there..' she said, turning to look back at the Village, but it would seem her window of opportunity had closed as two-leggers were milling around the tents once again.
'But I see you already paid a visit?' she said, asking, but seeing that he had some new shinies, and she cast a slightly covetous glance over them.

Calibor couldn't help the wicked smile that spread across his face when he startled Mae, making noise just wasn't something he did. He was all about stealth and he was sure she knew that. He turned his head back to the village as the two-leggers started to wander around again. Looked like he had stopped her just in time, the Knight in him did kick in from time to time.
"I was just about to let you know if wouldn't be such a good idea. Funny that we were both scouting out the same village. I've been here for a few days now." As she spoke, he caught the glance she gave his new trinkets and his smile softened. "I could be convinced to share, after all if more goes missing they might get suspicious. It would probably be a good idea to find something else to steal." He had some nice drapes of cloth he could share, and other bracelets around his hooves, for Mae he could certainly be convinced to share. Seeing as he had ruined her opportunity to venture out for her own things.

Mae was mostly annoyed with herself for being so caught in what the villagers were doing that she didn't catch sound, nor scent of Calibor's approach. It vanished almost as soon as it appeared though.
'There's a small chance I was looking for you.' she said, giving him a sidelong glance. She'd enjoyed his company, and whilst she was still in two minds about the whole thievery thing, he was certainly skilled, and better than she was. She still had much to learn, if she could become comfortable with the doing so.
'Oh, convinced eh? How would I be going about that?' she asked, a half-smile on her face. She was all for getting the spoils of one of his little raids if she didn't have to deal with the guilt of being the one who had actually stolen the item. Plus one of those bracelets he was wearing around his fetlocks would look just great on her.
