1. Where to post your tank?
You can make a topic in the subforums Beginner Tanks or Advanced Tanks, though this is optional. Your tank will be added by me in The B.G.A Text Thread, so long as you have fish that can glow and a bump thread that's been posted in at least once the past month.
Empty tanks gets removed from the text thread when noticed. If you refill your tank and want it back in the text thread, you have to notify me so I know the fish are back. If you're planning on being away for a while you can notify me before and have your tank placed in the "tank resting area" of the text thread.
2. Where can you post?
You can post everywere you have something to contribute to the topic, we lock the topics we don't want anyone posting in. You can also make your own threads, preferably in one of the subforums. If you feel uneasy about it you can always contact a crew member and ask for advise.
3. Help or advice with tanks and BG.
The beauty of being in a BG guild is that there is always someone that is willing to help you out. You can post here, make a topic, or ask Torment_Desires, NocturnalVeil, or DarkRybrin directly if you have trouble with codes, need advice on your bump thread or tank, or if there is something unclear to you. A bug or glitch is better to take to Gaia's Bug Report & Technical Support forum.
You can also post in this topic with your questions. If you need some lowtrigger fish to fill out your tank with we have the Low-trigger fish giveaway topic where you can ask for one fish per day.
4. Being part of the B.G.A.
We don't demand anything from our members except that you support our fairplay motto and don't harass or try to sabotage for other tank owners in any way. If you want to use a guild banner or bumper you can have a look in BGA banners and bumpers to use, or make one of your own.
If you feel like donating, please send a trade or gift to the guild mule BGA Kitty. If you donate gold on the guild home page, Gaia will hold the funds and we will only be able to use it on announcements and subforums, not for contests.

Fair Play is the B.G.A's motto, that we want all our members to follow. It's more than just a rule, it's an ideal for how tank owners interact. It benefits all parties involved.
Torment_Desires wrote: "We at the BGA support the fair play of all tanks, from all tank owners. Before my hiatus, I had noticed that there were some issues with tank owners only grabbing from certain tanks and no others. Plus, we have noticed that people would grab from tanks but not bump the tank owners bump page so that people would know they were glowing.
It has really upset me as a tank owner myself and theses "Clicks" that are doing this are making people stop enjoying the game. And I'm sure we all still want to play but we want it to be fair.
So in regards to this matter, we have come up with a motto that we will be constantly supporting until this issue is resolved and people return to the game that we all love. So if you agree with our motto and you want to show your support and get the word out, post the support banner at the top of the page in you signature or even your profile. And feel free to give the link to your friends if they are having the same issues that we are."
To support Fair Play follow these guidelines: * If you have issues with another tank owner that you can't resolve, ignore list them instead of involving other people in your fight. * Helping out your friends is nice, but only playing and bumping friend's tanks is a way to kill beginner tanks, and in the end, the game itself. * Every glowing tank deserves a bump (and tank owners help themselves too when their bumps are seen in every corner of the aquarium forum.) * If you want to show your support in Fair Play, you can use this banner in your signature:

If you wish to support the guild, we certainly wont object. There is more than one way to show support for your guild.
* Donations. ~ Helping the guild with gold, fish, or items is always appreciated, see the third post for details on donations.
* Guild banners. ~ Advertising the guild in your signature is easy, all you need to do is pick up your favorite banner in the topic BGA banners and bumpers to use!
* Bumping with a guild bumper. ~ Just like with the banners, you can find the image codes for the bumpers in BGA Banners and Bumpers thread to use! If you bump with guild bumps you can also start a bump log and quest for fish.
* Posting. ~ Keeping the guild active will help both you and the guild. How? When people post, others check the posts out. If you posted on the same page, people might catch your glow that way. Since the guild is a way to advertise our tanks, it's only logical that you're getting less attention if the guild is getting less attention.
* Follow the Fair Play motto. ~ This won't just help the only the guild or it's users, but Booty Grab in general, and this guild is all about BG.
Remember that we will not demand that you donate, stay active, or post within a certain time. We want you to be a happy Gaian, not a stressed-out Gaian. It will help us, and in a way, support us if you remember to let us know when you take breaks from Gaia, empty your tank, or change between high-trigger and low-trigger fish.
