On the SWP crisis

What are your thoughts on the ongoing crisis of the SWP (the largest communist party in the UK). If you haven't heard about it yet, here are two articles from a while ago that detail what happened (this one, and a response from an ex-member of the organisation).

"Disputes Committee is composed largely of individuals who know the accused."
Could the DC's actions be related to their knowing the accused? Either way, the SWP needs to get its priorities straight.
Sexism and racism doesn't just happen, the party must expel these individuals from the committee.

As for the coverup and lies, I don't know what to say, how did it ever get this bad?

I agree with that. This is just so shameful and disgusting to see in a party. Worse even is that the problems are still going on and that no change has been made (along with membres of the party being expelled for bringing up the issue at branches). Indeed, these individuals should be expelled from the CC and the party.
