Gotei Thirteen

The Gotei Thirteen is made up of thirteen squads, or Divisions, which in turn are lead by people known as Captains. Each Division has a specialty of sorts, of which they are the go-to people when looking for skill. These specialties are carried over from the Canon universe, and the unknown specialties are left blank so that the Captain may fill them.
Each Division is made up of many shinigami. The Division is led by a high powered individual given the rank of Captain. Most Captain's are required to have large amounts of skill, as well as having attained bankai. This is not required, however. Underneath the Captain is a Vice-Captain, who acts like a second in command, while also being second in power to their respectful captain. Underneath the Vice-Captain are seated officers.
The Entire Gotei is led by the Captain of the First Division, who takes the rank of Head Captain. He has the utmost of authority, second only to the Central 46, who he in turn reports to.
