The Secret Santa Charity Event

Hello everyone, and welcome to The Cute and Cuddly Charity's Secret Santa Event! This will be my third time hosting a Secret Santa event for The Cute and Cuddly Charity.

If you have any questions feel free to ask, and I will do my best to answer them. ^.^

FAQ

* What is a Secret Santa?
- A Secret Santa is a user who is assigned another user to give a gift to! The Secret Santa is supposed to remain secret and anonymous. Of course, this works the other way as well. Each Secret Santa has their own Secret Santa and will be given a gift of their own.

* How are you assigning the Secret Santas?
- Finc and I will keep track of who is participating and their spending budget. We will use this list to match people in the same spending tier.

* Would it be helpful if I had a wishlist?
- Yes it would.

* My Santa didn't gift me anything!
- If you have not received a gift by the 28th of December PM me. This issue will always be resolved, and everyone will receive a gift.

How to Participate

If you would like to participate in this years Secret Santa event all you have to do is PM Cute and Cuddly Charity and let her know that you want to be a Secret Santa and let her know your spending budget. The cutoff date for accepting Secret Santas is December 18th.

After we have a list of participating Santas Finc and I will match everyone up with a Gaian in their price range. Your Gaian will be sent to you via PM, so please make sure you can receive them! You will then have until December 27th to send them their gift. (You can check their wishlists/quest thread to get a idea for a gift that your Gaian might want or like.)

If you don't receive a gift by the 28th of December please don't hesitate to let us know.

Cute and Cuddly Christmas Raffle

We are hosting a Christmas raffle here at The CCC. For every ticket you buy you will be given a slot on our ticket board. Once the board is filled up I will use the random number generator to select a winner, and that user will be given the prize. The rest of the ticket money will go towards our charity funds so that we can further help our friends on their quests.
The more tickets you have, the greater your chance of winning.

Christmas Haiku Writing Contest

The Rules and Guidelines:
* Your Haiku must include a title.
* One entry per giain.
* All writing entered must be your own. We will check. Plagiarism will result in a qualification, and a report will be sent to Gaia mods.
* Keep it PG-13
* Spell check is a must! We will not accept work that we can't read or understand.
* Entries will be judged according to clarity, use of imagery and metaphor, depth offeeling, and overall impact.
* Your Haiku should be Christmas/Holiday related.

What is a Haiku?
- A Haiku is a type of poetry from the Japanese culture which doesn’t necessarily rhyme. It is composed of three lines. The first line is made up of five syllables, the second line seven syllables, and the third line have five syllables.

Example of a Haiku:
Green and speckled legs,
Hop on logs and lily pads
Splash in cool water
