Ok. So I have a problem. I have to have a preliminary thesis statement and an outline done tomorrow and I have no idea where to start. So what I am wondering is how you guys decide what your thesis is going to be, because I am completely stumped on where to start on mine.

Guess you figured it out by now. Anyway for next time I work out my thesis by collecting heaps of information, tossing it into a mind map and seeing what common threads emerge. Or if you're given a focus/question I analyse that in light of the research.
