Once the woman was following behind him, Kai exited the building and put the plate of remaining lasagne on the ground for his wolf companion. Though when he felt her hand rest on his arm, he almost jerked back out of reflex. It was awkward for him having her touch him like this as, not only did he not know what to do, but most girls never did this to him. He didn't particularly care for feminine attention, so receiving it was weird for him. 〝...〞 Uncertain how to respond to her gratitude, he just remained quiet. He wanted to just tell her to next time bug someone else, but she might take it the wrong way. For the time being, he was going to stick with his original plan.
Looking at the map, he spoke up as he looked for places she could stay that wouldn't be close to where he was planning to stay. His reasons for this being so he could slip out of town early before she woke and train himself in comfort by himself. 〝Would you prefer a cheap inn, or some where more comfortable?〞 He asked, before starting to walk towards the other side of town, not telling her where he was going to be staying. His wolf companion, having finished its meal kept pace with him. The plate that had been licked clean by the canine had shattered and disappeared as its durability hit zero.

Hearing the girl's reply, Kai tapped the map and made a waypoint on it before starting to walk. He had already gotten a couple paces ahead when she muttered, so he had failed to hear her comment about staying in one room. Though, even it he had heard it, it would have just been dejavu to him considering he had already mentioned the awkwardness of sleeping with someone you just met. Glancing back at her, he waited for her to catch up before continuing to walk to the inn. After a short walk and very light conversation, since Kai wasn't exactly one to talk a lot, they arrived at the inn and Kai slipped away after leaving her at her room, how he did this, we may never know, but some might question his reasons for leaving a beautiful woman who wouldn't mind sleeping with him.

Waking early to the smell of the Italian food down stairs, the male had woken a bit before the sun rose using an alarm in the menu so that he could prepare for the day. After putting his armor back on in the menu, he pulled up the map and started to draw a path on it from the inn he had left Akari at to the Town of Beginnings. The path avoided any monsters so it could be considered the safest way to move between the two towns. He had found about it, as well as others like it, from one of the informants that was in the beta. After finishing and saving the information, he sent it to Akari via the friend message as well as with a short message on it.
Message to Akari from Kai The map attached is the safest route to the ToB. Use that to go back and get help from a red headed knight by the name of Sir R. Lionheart. He'll help you level up safely. P.S. Do NOT try to follow me.
After sending the message, Kai made his way out of the 'secret' inn he had stayed at. Entering the market, he bought a few things: two loaves of bread, one for breakfast and the other for lunch; a teleportation scroll; three more medium hp vials; and two large hp vials.There was a reason for the rather heavy supplies. The answer was simple though. He planned to head all the way out to the labyrinth and start exploring and killing the stronger mobs there. Some might call him stupid, but he knew that if he got there before Akari woke up, even the friend finding feature wouldn't show his location as that was how the game programmed dungeons to be. There were a few other places aside from the labyrinth that were classified as dungeons, but none of those where on the first floor that he knew of.

As he made his way out of the market towards the fields, he glanced over his inventory. He would need to make use or sell some of the things he had, such as the sword he had enhanced, so he would have more inventory. He also wanted to finish up the leather armor set which was 3 pieces short of completion. Thinking about it, since the mobs he was going to fight didn't have leather, but instead metal drops, he could probably trade those with someone who had some wolf hide. Though thinking about it, he felt stupid for not getting the name of the girl who had made his current armor. Well, since Chibi-knight was still in ToB, he might be of use.
Message to 'Chibi-knight' from Kai Hey, if you see a brunet tailor that's really good at making armor, let me know cause i need to get the rest of my set of armor. Also, I'll be in the labyrinth so I'll have some metal junk that you could get refined into ingots for a smith to make some armor with if you get any wolf hide to trade me.
After sending off that message, he glanced to the wolf that walked at his side before looking towards the exit to the fields. Glancing at the clock in the top right corner of his vision, he started to eat his bread. If he hurried, he would still make it out to the labyrinth before Akari woke up. With that in mind, he walked as a slightly more brisk pace.
