Maeve still wasn't good with dealing with her emotions or the fact that she had come to realize that she loved the goofy male that had brought her home. As such, though she was hardly shy with her affections she still wasn't sure how to act. For the second time, the lioness felt uncomfortable in her own skin. She strongly disliked not knowing how to act or what to do.

She thought it would be easy, to be around the male that she loved but it was far more difficult than she had imagined. The lioness was no stranger in wooing a male, especially if it was only temporary yet when it came to true matters of the heart...well she was close to a lost cause.

"Remo," she called softly, peering into the den they had come to share. Though they spent most of their time with one another Maeve still wished for him to come out with her. She wanted nothing more than to go on a simple stroll and talk with him.

Though it couldn't be said Mteremo was the most confident lion in the swamp, he was probably dealing with this better than his beloved Maeve. Perhaps because he had grown up in a very loving family with parents who were sometimes too lovey-dovey. So he dealt with romantic relationships well enough, he thought.

At the same time, he wasn't oblivious to the fact that Maeve might not be the same way, and that she was probably still a bit apprehensive. Which made him a bit more awkward than he'd like, but he was making an effort to make sure she was comfortable. He didn't intrude on her space uninvited, or get clingy or pushy.

So it made him very happy when she called on him! "Yes, Maeve?" He replied curiously, and with a hint of cheer. "Do you need anything?"
