Zera is a trouble maker. She hates thunderstorms though and loud noises. She loves to walk around and play with other's by tricking them into thinking she isn't what she is. She can talk using telepathy.

Cody is a normal everyday guy, he was able to go on his journey with his Eevee, heading to the Unova region to explore and find new pokemon, excited to meet new pokemon and to become a great trainer, wanting to make many pokemon friends.

Zera, a Zorua, was in the form of a purrloin. She had taken an apple and changed forms to throw them off the trail. She giggled and walked over to another stand after she had eaten the apple and looked up seeing her favorite food, Oran berries. Her eyes glittered and she smirks and jumped up then stole one big Oran berry. Then she took off and hid under an old house. She then turned into a growlithe and came out once the Oran berry was gone but then she ran as an Arcanine came over and started to chase her with Officer Jenny. "Stop theif." She yelled and the Arcanine used Flamethrower and hit Zera in the Leg. SHe winced as a burn appeared on her left rear leg. She then jumped into the bushes and turned into her true form wincing as she walked. Soon though she came across a campsite and hid in the bushes seeing an eevee and it's human there.

Cody looked at Eevee as he played with him, Evan played happily with his trainer but soon he stopped and looked at the nearby bush, he thought about it as he moved closer, sniffing the bush before moving into the bush and finding Zera inside.

Zera backed up and growled at Evan. She wasn't used to human trained pokemon or any other pokemon for that matter. She had a trainer once but he abandoned her after he got a new pokemon. So now she didn't trust anyone who was human trained or was a human.

Evan looked at her and growled back at her but Cody got up and walked over, "Hey... whats wrong Evan?" He asked but then noticed Zera and moved closer, "Hey there... your a Zorua... wow." He said using his pokedex to get her entry but he looked at her and noticed that she was injured.

Zera then growled louder at Cody and limped off huffing at them. In truth she was more scared of being abandoned again than anything. After she limped into the bushes she had tears in her eyes. She was remembering all the good times she had with her trainer up until he got that stupid Dratini. She then came across an old stump and went inside to lay down and cry. It was about to rain and she was cold once it started to pour. Plus her leg was hurting badly.

Cody looked at the Zorua and heard her growl but when she limped off, he could tell that she needed help. He soon found that it was starting to rain, he gently put on his poncho and had Evan return but then using a Lillipup, he soon began to have it search for the Zorua. Soon he came to the stump but he moved closer, "Hello?" He asked moving close, he walked over to the stump, wondering if she was okay.

Zera then looked at Cody and backed up further under the stump. But then a loud boom scared her and she turned into an Eevee. She then shook as she looked at Cody and said one word which was the only word she knew how to say and that was "Alone."

Cody looked at her, seeing that she was scared and cold as she had turned into an Eevee, but he gently got out his pack and even in the rain, he set up a tent under a tree for shelter, but then he walked over and even if she didn't want to, he gently picked her up and carried her into the tent to get her out of the cold rain as he set up a small special lantern her bought that looked like a pansear that allowed for the tent to feel warmer and be light up a bit. He gently took a look at her leg but thought about how he heard the word alone in his head, "So your alone huh?" He gently asked her, seeing that she didn't have anyone.

Zera then looked up at Cody then looked away wanting to cry. She didn't have anyone to be with. She hated humans because she thought they were all the same along with their pokemon. SHe had been abandoned as a little baby. Then she had a tear go down her cheek wanting to go back to her trainer. She wish he had never found that dumb Dratini. Then her memory of the day she was abandoned starte to play in an illusion. Sometimes she couldn't control them when she was upset. Thet where he called her "weak and stupid." came up and that was what broke her heart.

Cody gently used a potion and wrapped her injured leg but when he saw a flash of light and watched as the memory was played to him as an illusion but then he began to think about how he saw her old trainer but then he thought about how he had seen him before going to a gym. He growled a bit but he looked at her and gently hugged her, "Im sorry that anyone would hurt you like that... I can't say that I can do much to help you... but I would like to ask if you want to come with me and Evan... I promise never to hurt you like he did." He said, his words sincere, "You don't have to be alone." He said as Eevee came out of the pokeball and looked at her, gently nuzzling her as he sat near her.

Zera looked at Evan and then at Cody. When he said she could come with them she nodded and jumped into his arms then said "L-Love." She then smiled and nuzzled Cody before she smiled at Evan. THen she got down and turned into a female Eevee then giggled.

Cody looked at her when she jumped into his arms and nuzzled him, hearing her say love but he smiled as he watched her change into a female Eevee but Evan smiled and tackled her playfully, careful of her leg as they began to play a bit, he smiled happy to have a new friend. When they played, they knocked over Cody's bag, a unused pokeball rolled out of it, Cody looked at it but he didn't want to use it on Zera worried she would hate him for it.

Zera then saw the pokeball and tilted her head as she sniffed at it. She was curious but then she pressed the button and the ball wiggled and set as she was now Cody's pokemon.
