"I will find out the truth...even if it drives me crazy"
Kiri shot three shots of lightening at the dummy that stood before her, doing a back flip she shot three more shots of blue fire towards another dummy, falling to the ground she swoops her leg around fire coming from her foot. jumping up fire followed her path upwards, coming back down to the floor with a big swoosh of fire that would have knocked her threats back.
Kiri breathed slowly, sweat running down her face, she had been at her practice for hours now, losing track of time was easy for her, sometimes she forgets to eat. "Still...i'm not strong enough..." She speaks to herself as usual. "More training is needed...as usual" She growls as she grabs a towel from the stand that lays to the right corner of the giant training room.
Silent peaceful music is filling the room as Kiri swings at the dummies, her hands that are wrapped in white cloth, blood seeping through them, fire shoots from her fists blowing around the doll as she punches the doll as if it has murdered her family. "I will...never...forgive you..." Kiri's swings become more violent "How...dare you leave me here...all alone!" a tear flows down Kiri's face before jumping, she makes one final swoop knocking the dummy from the chain, flying into the right wall.
Kiri stands there looking at the dummies condition, her hands soaping with blood, her heart racing, her eyes dark and Gloomy. "Stupid weak dolls" Kiri grits her teeth.
Looking down Kiri notices her hands and sighs "Great..." Kiri unwraps her hands, placing her hands gently in water she looks at her reflection, her shabby hair falling down around her face, her weak eyes, her small nose, her rose red cheeks, her small mouth.
Kiri's expression grew dark, and sad, the water began to boil as more tears flew from her eyes, Kiri wasn't in her training room for practice, she was in her training room to blow steam off, and it was working well. "AHHH!" Kiri screamed as she threw the bowl of water into the air, shooting fire at the water, as the water hit the floor, so did Kiri, her eyes stared upon the water. "Still...no burning rain..." She sighed, laying in her comfort zone, she rolled over and looked up at her ceiling, listening to the soothing melodies.
"I'v got 99 problems, but honey...my bending skills ain't one"

█ █ █ ¦ » » An achromatic arrhenotokous languidly sauntered into the perimeter of the area, the once nonchalant physique of the male becoming rigid upon hearing a variety of noises emitting from a room he had growl all too familiar with. He recognized this room as the room where noise always came from-the training room where he always found Kiri. As old as it got, seeing her take out all her frustrations on a helpless dummy, her anger was vivid, tangible, and downright terrifying. Albeit, through years of practice, Noctis, being as stoic as he is, always managed to keep his cool on the outside. Whether he could maintain his cool or not was of no matter to him right now as the paroxysm progressed, and he found himself waiting outside. For a minute or two, all was quiet, and Noctis cautiously sauntered closer, prepared to knock harshly on the door when the arousing sound of flames invaded his receptors, making him withdraw.
The male waited again, cobalt eyes squinting as he listened intently. No sound other than a solace induced tone of music was heard, and so he proceeded to knock on the door. As he waited for Kiri to answer, he took a step back and smiled to himself. "What would the girl do without me?" He asked mentally, believing he was one of the few things, other than practicing, that relatively kept her sane. Perhaps he was the only option other than practice. He knew how torn up she was, and yet… he was never, never able to fluidly soothe her with words. He, himself, became flustered when trying to make her feel better. As emotionally detached as he was, it was difficult for him to talk of such sentimental things.

"Our love is more wild than the wind" Kiri rolled over, taking deep breaths as she listened to the music "I'll never leave you Kiri...you are my one and only!" Kiri gritted her teeth, taking deep breaths, letting them out slowly. "Kiri! You are amazing..."...
Kiri jumped up sending a blue fire blast right at the door when there was a knock, the door dissipated quickly. Kiri's face became light and playful when she saw her best friend Lucis, he was the one that had disturbed her...as usual...probably wanted to go get something to eat or something.
"Oh Lucis! You picked a bad time to show up here!" she giggled gently, "Look at me! I am a total mess!" Kiri pushed her hair back behind her ear blushing gently. "if you don't mind...give me a second...i never got to finish my practice moves for Bending Chaos"
Kiri turned away from Lucis, focusing her eyes on one of the dummies, she took off into a run, quickly shifting from the dummy she propelled herself from the wall, shooting three blue flames at 3 dummies along the left wall, doing a back flip in mid air she took out four dummies on the right wall, falling to her feet she sweeps around the dummy that's in front of her, knocking it completely over, jumping up with a final blow to the last dummy in the room, coming down with a loud thud and flames shooting up from around her.
Kiri flipped her hair before turning back to him "Now! Come in!" she smiled lightly, walking over to her towel rack she wiped her face and arms off. "So, are you here to cheer me up!? wanna take me out for some dinner? maybe at the tea shop?" Kiri turned quickly "It shouldn't take me long to get ready" Kiri had a small crush on Lucis, but she hid that from him, he was her best friend, the only one she could let herself open with, that's what made her feel like that it wasn't a crush at all...it was friendship.
"Actually, i have a fresh Kimono laid out as we speak!" She smiled "It should only take about...thirty minutes" she gave him a small peace sign and stuck her tongue out. Lucis was seriously the only person...Kiri could let herself go around.

█ █ █ ¦ » » As soon as the door was practically obliterated, Noctis cringed, utter terror on his countenance as he was in this odd position of foolish defense. Albeit, when he found that Kiri had merely mistaken him for a threat, he calmed down with a relief induced sigh, a trickle of sweat cascading down his pale forehead."You picked a bad time to show up here!" he heard, and immediately went into his playfully, angry state."I'll say! You almost killed me!" He proclaimed, obviously over-exaferrating. At the most, he would've been thrown back plus burned a little."Look at me! I am a total mess!" Noctis merely rolled his eyes, making a gesture as if for her to forget it."Meh…" he uttered, signaling his carelessness for her issue."If you don't mind… give me a second…" it only took those words for Noctis to groan, knowing she was going to show off again. Maybe she was not showing off on purpose, but it sure made him feel jealous.
As much as he did not want to watch for the sake of his feelings, he found himself drawn to her ethereal moves. It was graceful, and yet… so dangerous! It definitely was not as graceful as those of the wind nature, albeit the way she moved was just… it was amazing, and he always wondered just how someone so seemingly innocent could deal such devastating destruction."I love the way she does that…" he found himself thinking, absolutely fawning over her moves."Actually, I am here so you can cheer me up…" he proclaimed, smiling."After those stunts you pulled, I am a little low on self esteem." Kiri was the only one whom he could really get loose with, in a way more appropriate than it sounds… stepping inside, his pale cheeks went slightly red and he rubbed the back of his neck."Dinner, I-uh…" however, Kiri saved him the embarrassment by suggesting something else. Pointing at her, eyes gleaming in recognition, he smiled suggestively."Now that would be a good idea," he answered in regards to the Kimono she spoke of.

Kiri's eyes perked up when he agreed with her. Taking his hand quickly she lead him from the training room, down the hall. "Lucis...you really should make a consideration on letting me teach you" She smiled at him "I mean, i can teach you so much...I can even teach you how to make shapes out of the fire..Also! Watch" Kiri stopped abruptly and pushed Lucis's hand up, placing her hand on his heart she closed her eyes, her hand hovering inch's away from his, Kiri breathed deep and slow, concentrating. "I have been practicing this..." blue flames circle around her and his hand, not touching his hand at all. "now, all i need you to do..." Kiri says with her eyes closed "Is use your flames to circle mine..." She quickly dropped the beautiful swirling colors and smiled "See...that would be amazing if i could train with another fire bender...imagine those red and flue flames swirling together..." Kiri jumped with excitement.
Kiri slid the door to her home open, it was a huge home...but pretty empty, the only place full of anything was Kiri's training room, her parents had left her this entire establishment, she worked and paid for it completely herself. "Come in...Once i get changed, We can go for a stroll on the streets...maybe get something to eat...I'm really hungry...would like to get some noodles actually" She grinned, from behind a door, closing it slowly.
Kiri slid the door open quickly just as she had shut it "OH! And maybe we can see some more fire benders...OH! and maybe we can befriend some water benders and earth benders!" Kiri's eyes light up with gleaming joy "I cannot wait!" she slammed the door closed once more.
Kiri emerged from the room that she had just changed in, "What do you think?" Kiri twirled in the Kimono. "Is it not stunning?" she grinned. "Are you ready to go? I feel like the streets are calling my name" She pranced over to him, wrapping her arm around his gently.

█ █ █ ¦ » » Upon his hand being encased by hers, he found heat building up to his cheeks, undoubtedly an oncoming blush. It was not like Kiri did not do this often, but it still gave him this feeling every single time she did. Every now and then, he would attempt to comprehend the feelings. Was he just bad with females in general, or did he just genuinely have an attraction towards Kiri? Either way, out of fear or respect, Noctis never bothered to even contemplate on it much. One, his emotions were all out of whack so he did not really know how to respond to emotions, nor did he know how to indicate whether it is love or something else. Second and most importantly, Kiri was currently in the midst of avenging her late boyfriend. Who would he be if he tried to replace the guy she was obviously still in love with? That is how he saw it. So intrigued by his thoughts, he had not really been listening to Kiri before she placed a hand on his chest, making his eyes widen slightly in surprise."What are you doi-" albeit he never finished as the flames engaged. Blue… his favorite color. When she finished, he blinked, wiping away his awe."I will consider it, but promise me, if I do end up taking lessons from you, you will go easy on my at first…" he suggested with an innocent smile. He had a 50/50 chance here. Despite being as sweet as Kiri was, Noctis doubted Kiri really liked the idea of playing soft.
Gazing upon the area of her home, he attempted to conceal the frown that was tugging at his lips. With the lack in furnishing the indications of over-exertion were evident."You really ought to just… chill for a moment," he proclaimed, referring to how much she trained. And do not think he did not know about how she practically forgets to take care of herself. Stepping inside, he glanced around once more before Kiri's voice broke his concentration, and turning toward the sound, he saw that she was about to get dressed. Of course, when she opened the door to express her excitement, he smiled but shook his head. The girl had too much energy and excitement for her own good. Waiting for her to finish, he wandered aimlessly before the sound of the door opening brought his attention and he turned to gaze at her."No, not stunning…" he murmured contemplatively, placing a finger on his chin."Not stunning, but absolutely exquisite," he finished, grinning from ear to ear. Being put into a friendly gesture of arm around arm, he nodded and escorted her out.

Kiri walked down her porch, her hair flowing in the wind as she walked, her hand holding onto Nocts tightly. She felt as if she was about to pass out, Kiri stopped just before her door, rubbing her fingers over her eyes gently. Kiri looked back at Noc and smiled "Noctis would you like to come in?" Kiri opened her door, walking in she stripped the top layer of the Kimono off, letting it fall to the floor.
Kiri walked into her living room, sitting down on her sofa, snuggling up with a pillow, her feet propped up against her chest gently.

█ █ █ ¦ » » Noctis followed into the area of the home interior, silently picking up the top she so haphazardly left on the floor and settling it gently on the armrest of the couch opposite of Kiri's cranium. Walking back to the door, he slid it closed and stared at the virgin surface for what seemed like a millennia, his eyes closed as he conjured up the words he could say to win her over, or maybe he just needed to be himself, awkward and scared."Before you go to sleep…" he began, turning back around to settle his cobalt occuli on Kiri, sauntering closer cautiously, fidgeting nervously with his fingers."I just wanted to tell you, that…" he closed his wary eyes, looking agitated with himself."Damn, just get it out already you sorry man!" He chided himself mentally, opening his eyes reluctantly."I believe that I have… been attracted to you for awhile now, and I guess I did not realize it until Roke came along and tried to cope a feel on you," he murmured quickly, his eyes having closed again as he spoke those words he had been actually regretting to say."I guess I am just asking if you could just, y'know… give me a little chance to show you just how important you are to me…" he murmured, rubbing the back of his neck in nervous anxiety.

Kiri heard Noctis talking, but it all came in silent whispers and drowned out words. "Noctis..." She spoke softly, picking her pillow up, she sat it on him slowly, laying her head against him, she laid on his lap where her head was facing upwards. Kiri...sadly, heard nothing that Noctis spoke of, "Hold me" she whispered as she rolled into his chest sleeping silently.
"You can't win this battle Kiri" Kiri clutched her fist holding it up "Of course i can!" She growled, shaking her fist at faded figure "All you ever do is say i can't win!...well i'll prove you wrong! I don't need you to win!" Kiri's dreams grew more harsh as she slept, Kiri's fingers became tight around her pillow "Sky..." she cried out softly, a tear rolling down her cheek. Kiri never spoke of her ex's name, this dream was really bugging her.

█ █ █ ¦ » » Sheer disappointment flashed across his countenance as the reality hit him; Kiri had not heard a single word he said. Thus, he was stuck here, catering to Kiri like a pillow as she dreamed about a boy that was already dead and gone. He closed his eyes, listening to her frantic breathing and the whispering of the name whom he lived in the shadow of. What was he thinking? To believe Kiri would ever like him when she was still in love with a dead man was a crazy. Whether she really still loved Sky or not, it did not matter. Sky still had the biggest influence of Kiri out of both himself and Roke. Both of them would only bathe in his shadow, and Kiri would continue her obsession with avenging him. It all made sense now. He had been chasing something that was not there. He fell for someone who did not recognize him in any loving way other than a friend. He was socially awkward, dressed in black, washed with depression, and just... socially unappealing. His breath caught in his throat as he glanced down at the angel in his lap, his eyes narrowing as he attempted to contain the tears swelling."I am sorry you are stuck in all this; fought over by two idiots and torn by one that came before the others... one of those others is me, the lowest of them all..." his voice shook sadly, his throat constricting whilst he attempted to swallow back the lump in his throat.

Kiri sat up, taring the pillow from her face, Noctis was still there, it had been what seemed like hours. "Noctis..." She looked back at him, her eyes restless and hurting, "I think i am rested" Kiri scooted close to him, leaning over she kissed him gently on the cheek, something she had never done before.
Kiri leaned back against the sofa, rubbing her eyes gently, "Thank you" she spoke silently "For putting up with me...for making everyday lively and for being there for me like no one else has been..." Kiri took his hand gently "For being there when no one else wanted to put up with me...For filling my heart full of happiness and love..." Kiri put his hand against her heart gently "For just being there...I owe you my life, my love,...everything...without you...i would have went completely nuts...probably killed people..."
Kiri closed her eyes, trying to hide the thoughts of how she acted after she had been told Sky was killed, the enrage, the was she confined herself, the way she went off on people when they got to close...she couldn't trust anyone, she still has a hard time trust just anyone...if she knows there human...but Noctis came along...filled her life with happiness and it felt like that whole had been covered up by friendship.
"I mean it...I owe you...everything" Kiri was talking as if she was never going to talk to him again. Of course she was going too, she just wanted to get this off her chest.

█ █ █ ¦ » » Noctis glanced at Kiri as she awoke, averting his occili again upon seeing her approach, albeit his indifferent emotion turned into that of astonishment and a hand went to his cheek, which were now red with embarrassment. His other hand, lying at his side, was guided to Kiri's bosoms, suspended right above the heart. He glanced at her chest in uncertainty, his hands feeling the heartbeat that she encased beneath. He parted his lips to tell her it was no problem, but she went on, and he grew uneasy. What was she saying? Was she merely appreciating his friendship or did she actually just imply that she liked him just as he did."Kiri-" he was cut off as she continued, making him nervous. He should be happy, but he was confused. Why was she so dramatic about it, why this so suddenly? Sure, he tried to plant it on her earlier and she did not year, but this was somewhat overwhelming for him."Kiri, what are you talking about?" He asked with a nervous laugh, trying to avoid looking at her in fear of meeting her eyes.

Kiri let his hand drop, she looked from left to right, rubbing fingers over her cheeks gently. "W-what i am trying to say is" Kiri stood quickly, a blush on her face, "I think your pretty amazing and that i don't know what i would do without you!" she stomped her foot, getting this off her chest made her feel better, she had never felt this way about anyone other than sky...Kiri knew for a fact that she liked Noctis now...that dream she had...it was so long...so vivid...she knew how she felt about sky...but the way she felt about Noctis was real...it was truly real.
Kiri had taken off into a run as she spoke those words, running out of her house and down the steps, running behind her training room and into a small shed with hardly any illuminating light. She dropped to her butt, scrapping her knees against her chest, closing her eyes and covering her ears. This was where she often came to think, she often came to just let things go peacefully other than letting it all go in her training room, the truth was Kiri had a peaceful side....it was just hard to connect with most of the time.

█ █ █ ¦ » » Guilt stabbed at his chest, scolding him for making things so awkward. He had wanted to make her close, and yet he still pushed her away. He sat there for what seemed like forever, memories of a kiss on his cheeks fading. The sensation of his hand touched by her disappearing. He licked his lips, standing up upon deciding to follow Kiri, wherever she had went. Clearing his throat casually, trying to put his wits together, he walked out of the house, the training room being the first he checked, albeit she was not there."Maybe she just downright left," he murmured, turning around in circles before leaving the training room. He prepared to go back to the house or around it when he hesrd shuffling coming from behind the training room. Walking cautiously around, he sauntered up to the shed and knocked gently."Kiri, I want to talk, about us," he proclaimed, listening quietly for her reply."I'm sorry I acted distant just now. Truthfully, I really like you, a lot." He chuckled gently, resting his fist against the shed door."Hell, I think I might even, sorta, kind of love you," he proclaimed with a small laugh, trying go lighten the mood.
