Angels are holy creatures humans look up to for guidance in their lifes. They are the messagers of God and can save our souls from hell if we listen and do all that is holy and right. Johnathon is no diffrent from any other angel. He's is right, holy and good in everyway. Born back in the times of the roman empire Johnathon doesn't remember how he died or even much about his old life, not that it matters to him much.
Johnathon is now God's right hand, the highest postion an angel can have. He is allowed to come and go from heaven as he pleases and can even make himself human for a short period time. Johnathon's job is to save trouble souls dying or otherwise. Once these souls are save they are allowed onto heaven. Sometimes he takes his job to serious but Johnathon wants to do all the good he can in this world even if it costs his life and heavenly wings.
Demon Ari was 22 he died, when he woke up he found a stab wound which healed in a matter of seconds. He knew something was wrong, every day he grew weaker, he wasn't hungry, had insomnia. He was in a very bad mood, and his body was weak, the only time he felt better was when he saw people in pain, mental, but more desirable physical pain. When there was an accident and 12 people died, which Ari saw, made him feel alive again, and well. Months later he found out about the world of the demons, lost souls, still in flesh that roam around earth, possess devious powers and feed on human misery. He had to do what needs to survive, even if it meant making people suffer.
