now what is the pro of having a mac? :'D

you rarely ever have to turn off your mac? ;D

I rarely turn it off. i think in the past...couple of months...ii've only turned it off a handful of times...like 3-5. lol. most of those were just to reboot for system updates. wooo!!!

for me, 'shutting off' my mac is basically just closing the top to put it to sleep. dramallama
LOL how is that a bonus? xD

also my friend's mac doesn't have an hdmi port TROLOLOLOLOL

yeah well if you ever get a laptop get a mac cool

sometimes when i'm sitting with people who've had their PC laptops open for a long time I can hear their fans start to whiirr from overheating and it's like....heh

You don't even know

For graduating from highschool (07) my parents bought me a laptop

It's still around today, after I've reformatted it like 8 times..... and the only way to keep it from overheating is to literally sit it on top of a WINDOW fan that's blowing into it at max speed

PC Laptops are terribad

That's why I love my delicious custom desktop; IT WILL LAST ME FOREVAR

i have a Toshiba laptop too that i rarely use, but when i use it, i also have to turn on an external fan so it doesn't overheat xd
it's pretty old though...like...2007-2008 old.

2 years ago I got a samsung notebook and it died due to a virus mad
i couldn't system restore anything since it had no CD slot and wouldn't turn on (so couldn't download any restore software).......stupid notebooks.

HDMI ports are ports you have to plug an HDMI cable into an HD monitor/television in order to get 1080p Hi-def resolution

lmao guys

guys

I go to an art school where 80% of the computer labs are Macs, except for the DMC (digital media center), because they can't handle the rendering software I use in my major, let alone open photoshop fast enough.

and gaming on a mac

I never turn off my computers, I only put it into sleep mode which will turn on, on it's own if there is an update active.

the only time i shut off anything is if there is a thunderstorm, in which i also unplug everything, or if I'm leaving for a while.

macs were never virus free, thats just a common misconception

there's tons of viruses that target Mac OS
they're just not publicized as much because macs are a minority.

Macs aren't virus-free, there is just no anti-virus software for mac that reports running viruses. That Macs are safe from malware is a myth; there is already a crapton of malware targeting Macs that exist with more being created all the time. Owning a mac to avoid getting viruses is like cutting your d**k off to avoid getting AIDS

neutral

It's still way easier to get a virus on a PC than a Mac. it's like, using birth control vs using a broken condom to avoid getting BABIES.

With the broken condom being the Mac, right
