Kedalbe - Tapcaff (Cantina)

Elyria could feel Vic nearby, so she calmly made her way to the nearest Cantina. Making her way thru the crowded smoke-filled room, she placed the appropriate credits on the counter and ordered a mug of shig, she passed on the tihaar knowing she must keep her wits about her. Deftly carrying it to a small table in a dark corner of the room making sure her back was to the wall and that she faced the door...allowing herself a view of all around her. Brushing back her copper locks, she gently blew on the steaming drink before taking a sip. The hot fruity taste was refreshing and soothing at the same time. Casting her emerald eyes casually around, she surveyed the room..looking for Vic's arrival..or any enemies that might be lurking, but all seemed normal. Loud, raucous laughter, tinny music playing in the background...The obvious regulars slouched at the bar....no matter what the place, what the planet..somehow these places were always the same...and so...she waited, watching the crowd, trying to read who they were...and waiting...waiting for Vic to make himself known....

Both Henry's hands gripped the cushion seat hard in order to avoid falling off the vehicle. The boy turned to Kad, unconvinced.
"Yeah right, I wonder if the brake is even functioning or not."

"Henry, don't worry so much. You are a je'daii."

they were almost to their destination and so Kad with a devilish smile on his face killed the thrust, spun the speeder to the left so henry wouldn't be thrown out, and hit the brakes hard (which were functional)

"we're here" kad said with a smile and lept out.

Locolvictum followed Elyria to the Cantina, but stopped when she entered inside. This wasn't a opportunity to come in just yet. He needed to wait for a group to enter. A group of four poeple were walking down the raod and heading towards the Cantina, this was his chance. He inserted himself into the back of the group and kept his head down. When they came inside, Locolvictum moved like a shadow from the group towards the larger one inside the cantina.

He could see Elyria's emerald eyes in the dark corner. He moved along silently, moving himself amoung the different groups that were moving about. After much time making his way through the crowd he found himself at Elyria's table and slide himself in the seat across from her.

Elyria watched Vic as he wove among the crowds "Just what was he doing?....and why?" She felt a slight unease about this adventure, but Vic had insisted that only she accompany him. The thought of a trap kept creeping into her thoughts, but she was a Temple Master, she had to trust the Force would not let her down.

After much maneuvering, Vic finally slid into the seat across from her. She looked up and met his one good eye..."Shall I get you a drink? I noticed you didn't stop at the bar.... we have a lot to discuss" She studied his face, trying to gauge his thoughts...but except for a little anxiety, she could read nothing from him. he was obviously continuing to play his cards close to the vest. "Perhaps some Tihaar? It might take the edge off...name your poison - I'll be happy to get it for you.."."Perhaps a drink would loosen his tongue"

Sahomet's eyes narrowed as he picked up a very familiar voice, and face. 'They have no business here.' he thought his mind going over a thousand different possible outcomes if a fight broke out in the cantina. "Perhaps she will not recognize me and I can try and get some information out of them." he spoke into the silence of his buy'ce. He waited for another patron to pass by before repositioning himself to watch the jetti, such was one of the many benefits of beskar'gam.

As she stood and waited for Vic to answer she felt the small hairs on the back of her neck rise. Her hand went quickly there and she looked around the room for anything that may have triggered it...shaking it off - it must be her unease about this quest with Vic - turning to face him again "Well, what'll it be?"

"Henry, don't worry so much. You are a je'daii."

Henry leaned closer to Kad, as if wanted to whispher.
"I am not worrying so much about me. I'm just worrying you sir, might be paying a lot for this such a bad vehicle. Perhaps we are being trick by the likes of him."

The speeder make left and jerked into brake.
"we're here" kad said with a smile and lept out.
"Good thing the brake system is working." murmured the boy as got out of the vehicle.

Locolvictum could tell that his silence was makeing her uneasy. It wasn't his intention, but it would have to do.

"I don't need any drinks." He said taking off his mask, "After this is over I would more than welcome drinking you under the table." He said, makeing light of the situtation. Placing the mask from his face onto the table and was careful to keep his left eye closed. A small trickle of blood had hardened itself underneath it.

Elyria reclaimed her seat with slight impatience "Fine then...let's get down to business" she notice the blood crusting under his eye "You're hurt...." she reached her hand and gently touched the spot sending the Force thru her finger. "So...tell me...what is your plan?" She was still distracted by the sense of being watched, but in the crowded tapcaff she couldn't distinguish just what was nagging at her sensibilities...bring her focus back to Vic "And what is my role in all of this?"

Locolvictum pushed Elyria's hand away from his face and opened the closed eye. The eye mechanical that was there before was gone.

"I bring you to the place, then you decide what you want." Then he paused, for a moment as if he was going to say something else. Then decided not to.

Gasping slightly "Your eye! Vic...where..." Looking down, "I'm sorry - I won't pry"

"I bring you to the place, then you decide what you want."

Taking a sip of her shig, she looked up, her green eyes questioning "There has to be more to it than that. None of this makes any sense to me, why did you hail my ship back on Nar Shaddaa, wait for weeks on Tython, just to turn over the treasures of your Father's Temple? And I am to go alone...why not a crew of Je'daii to carry the treasures back to Tython? Just what is going on here?. She put down her mug, placed her elbows on the table and resting her chin in her hands..."Well, what's your story? I want the truth now...

Locolvictum lte out a chuckle, "You want a story? Then expect it to be a short one." Locolvictum suddenly became more serious, "I only mean to tell this story once, so listen well." Locolvictum settled back in his seat, he began to tell his tale.

"Many years ago, I was born on this planet, Mandolore. My father, as you already know was a former Jedi by the name of Lockheart. My mother was a mondolorian of the Tr'zch Clan." Locolvictum stopped for a moment to think. "The three of us lived together for a short ten years, before the maddness consumed her and my father was forced to kill her in forent of my eyes. Well eye at that point, I lost it to her. It was then at that time that my father started teaching me the ways of the force; however, he died two years later." Locolvictum stopped again, recounting this story wasn't too easy for him to begin with.

"His last will and testament left everything to the Jedi Order, and nothing for myself. I wasn't actually supposed to know that, part of his last dieing wishes was to find a member of the Order and bring you to it. But I didn't leave until he passed on and I had a chance to set up his grave along with my mother inside the temple." Locolvictum couldn't help but feel some resentment and anger towards his father for what he had done to him, but Locolvictum coutinued with his story. "I spent what little credits that I had and what little that I could find inside his home for his funeral. With no credits, and with no other family, I was forced to carry out my fathers last wishes. Thats when I hijected a transport offworld, and I've been planet hopping useing that method for elieven years now. That was until I found you on Nar Shaddah" Locolvictum let out a sigh, "There, are you satisfied?"

The Feeorin found it amazing how much the two were willing to talk about in public, the bit about the temple had certainly piqued his interests. 'Just a little more data, then offer a friendly escort and what happens will happen.' his imagination was running amuck with possible outcomes but he still kept his ears eyes and scanners focused on the aruetti.

Mandalore - Kad's grandfather's homestead

Kad walked up toward the door to the main building on compound.
"now Henry... don't touch anything you dont recogonize...good chance its also a weapon"
Kad walked up and knocked on the door and waited a bit, then after a moment an older man opened the door. the older man despite being quite elderly still had a very powerful air of strength and vitality to him.
"Su'cuy gar Ba'buir."
