Have you ever heard of the amazing race?
Well this is technically an online amazing race!
With a few exceptions and rules of course!
Here's what it's all about!
You will be partnered up in groups of two. You will be partners throughout the whole race. I will select your partner, but you will have the option to get a new partner of your choice if they drop out of the race or are extremely inactive, If this happens, you are to PM me about it. You know how the show is who gets to the checkpoint first? Well, that's a little shifted in this race. We are going to focus on quality and quantity, rather than who gets theirs done first. You will have a time limit though, of course. The only reason I am not doing who gets theirs done first is the time zone and homework issues. People DO have lives outside of Gaia too. All in all, most of the check points won’t be who posts first.
Any who, there will be 8 check points, so there will be 8 teams of 2. 16 people have a shot to join. I may do first come, first serve and decide based on your forms. Be ready for anything! Additionally, I won't make you make a video and upload it to YouTube or something like that. Not everyone wants to do that sort of stuff. Plus there will be a 20k prize for each partnership. Total of 40k in prizes. Plus! I will have a vote at the top of an additional item to be included (mood bubble but which one?) SO if you win, you and your partner will be given numbers (odds and even) and ill roll a dice and whatever number wins will get the prize. If you would like to donate for more prizes(like 2nd and 3rd place), send a trade to me, and title the trade or send a trade to me and send me a PM telling me. Here we go. 2) Don't argue if your out. I decide and don't feel like being yelled at. In other words, don't be a sore loser.
3) Please try to check the checkpoints every so often. Don't say you didn't know the race started because you were too lazy to check into this thread.
4) When your out, your out, unless someone from another team isn't doing anything or is inactive, then, and only then, i may ask you if you would like to partner up with them. So if your inactive and i replace you, don't yell at me.
5) Have fun!
6) PM your entry (for each checkpoint) to me ( ameerahmx ) with all the information you need to include. Make sure to title the PM whatever checkpoint it is for.
