Vandelism and You

Another beautiful sunshine woke Larry up this morning with a loud yawn. The day was ripe for exploration, Larry could just feel it. Sitting up, Larry noticed his Munchlax, Pit, grobbling up the food he had saved for his ventures. "This one's gonna eat me outta house and home," Larry thought irratiably. "Give him a year's supply of food and he'll most likely finish it in a day. I'm certainly not looking foward to the day he becomes a Snorlax." The thought of a full grown Snorlax in his hime gave Larry the shivers. "What am I going to do with you?" Larry said, shaking his head. Getting out of bed, Larry began to get dressed, dawning his golden brown jacket and putting on his signature headphones. "Wake up King Lancer," Larry called to his Piplup. He awoke with an exhausted yawn, wiping his eye sleeply. "We've got our second mission. There's a man in Viridian city who's fed up with the actions of a vandelising Smeargle, which the people have come to love. Tired of always cleaning up after him, he sent a request out to either chase away or catch the Smeargle. That's were we come in. It should be a good chance to gain more fighting experience, and maybe even add a new member to the team." Taking out his Hoverboard, Larry led his team outside so they could climb on and fly off. "We'll have to speak with Daniel to find out more," Larry said as they were taking off. "We'll ask around to find his house."

Larry and the gang eventually arived in Viridian City to find an amusing sight. Covering the walls of each building were cartoon paintings, such as a man getting sucked into a Poké Ball. "So this is the Vandelism," Larry said as they began to walk around. "Oh well, a mission's a mission I suppose." Continuing to walk around, Larry began to ask for directions to Daniels. "Daniel," one child said, "Isn't that the man always sipping coffee for a living. He lives just up the street from here, right next to the coffee shop." As she said that, she pointed to a nearby blue house that had a painting of a man getting stuck by lightning. "Thanks," Larry said, racing down to Daniels.

"Excuse Me!" Larr called as he knocked on the door. "Is Daniel there?" At first there was no answer, so Larry kept knocking. Eventually, an old man would come out with a cup of coffee in his hand. "What now!" the old man said irritably, "Don't bother me until I get my coffee. If you're here to talk about that Smeargle, I don't care. That Pokémon is a menace." Larry could tell this man had thought Larry was another civilian, so he took out his Snag as identification. "My name is Larry and this is my team," Larry said as he still held up the Snag. "We're from Team Snagem and we're here to respond to your mission post. May we come in?" The old man looked over Larry quizically, as if he didn't believe a child could help with this. However, he would eventually cave in and open the door to Larry. "Sit this one out for now Pit," Larry said as he returned the Munchlax to its ball. "C'mon Lancer."

"It all started a few weeks ago," Daniel began, pouring Larry and Lancer a cup of tea each. "I feel erbal tea goes great with a story. I'm guessing you prefer it sweet, but I myself am more of a coffee guy." Handing Larry and Lancer each a cup, Daniel began his tail of vandelism. "It was like any normal day," Daniel continued, "Kids were playing outside, parents were busy with work, and I was drinking a cup of coffee. Everyone was minding to themselves when one of the kids noticed a small Pokémon wandering into the city. It was the Smeargle. The injured Pokémon didn't get far, for it dropped to the ground moments later. What attacked it, we don't know. However, what we do know is that after someone took the Smeargle to the Pokémon center, it decided to go on a vandelising spree as a "thank you". Everyone just watched as it excaped from medical care and just ruined a perfectly good moral on the wall. Everyone thought it was "so adorable", but I know a bad sign when I see it. Everyone's cheers just inspired it to do more and more vandelsim. It was really starting to rub me the wrong way. That's why I want you to get that holigan out of town and stop his rein of evil vandelism."Larry sipped his tea quietly as he listened to Daniel's story. "Intresting," Larry said after Daniel finished. "If that Smeargle just wandered into town out of nowhere with injuries, who's to say the one who attacked Smeargle won't come after it?" Daniel froze for a moment, not thinking that far. He'd never imagined that senario. "Don't worry," Larry said, putting down his tea, "We'll be happy to take that Smeargle out of your hands. We may not look it, but we've fought some tough oponents so far. A Smeargle will be just the challenge we need. So is there anything you can tell us about this Smeargle that might help in battle? Weaknesses, Strengths, Likes, Dislikes, anything would be helpful. We might even be able to pin point his location." Daniel thought for a moment, sipping his coffee. "First off," Daniel began, "You should watch yourself out there. That Smeargle's a fast one I tell ya'. I should know, I've fought its kind back in my earlier years. You should be careful when fighting them. Any move you do, he can copy it with his Sketch move. Hyper Beam, Shadow Ball, Confusion, nothings out of this guy's reach. When you see him point his tail, he's gonna copy you and make your attacks his own. Be careful." Larry nodded, getting up and putting the tea cup on the table. "C'mon King Lancer," Larry said, gesturing for the Piplup to follow. Finishing off the cup, Lancer got off the couch and followed Larry. "Before you go," Daniel said as Larry was at the door, "you should know something. The people around here have taken a shine to the Smeargle. They might be willing to protect it from you. Some might even hide it in there homes. I suggest you tread lightely." Larry nodded to Daniel before closing the door and heading through the streets.
"I don't think word's got out that we're from Snagem yet," Larry thought, "so it's best that we don't draw attention to ourselves. Asking around probably told every one that we weren't from around here. Last thing we need is a cause for suspecion."
Taking out his Poké Catcher, Larry began to make an article for the Smeargle.

Smeargle: A strange Pokémon with the inate abiltiy to copy the opponents moves, learning them instantly and making them their own with a move known as Sketch. They apparently have a knack for painting.

Larry left some information for when he actually met the Smeargle face to face. "King Lancer," Larry began, "I'll trust you with the battle ahead. Pit will stay behind because I feel that you would need the experience more. That and if he gets Metronome against us we could be in a tight spot. I'd hate to have you take a hyper beam to the face." As Larry spoke, he didn't at all mention the Smeargle and he was careful with the words he did say. He didn't know where, though he guessed who, but there was someone watching them from nearby. Lancer must of sensed Larry's caution, so just readied himself for anything. "Lancer," Larry began as he listened out for the spy, "How are your reflexes?" Lancer guessed Larry's plan at that moment and readied to strike. The snapping of a twig alerted Larry to the spy's whereabouts. "Are you ready," Larry said to Lancer in a tone only he could hear, "Pound!" As Larry called that attack, he turned around and pointed to a nearby rooftop. Standing on it, watching The group's every move, was the Smeargle. It must of noticed that its cover was blown, because the Smeargle suddenly turned and ran for the hills. "C'mon," Larry commanded as he pulled out his hoverboard. After Lancer had gotten on, they both sped after the Smeargle. As Daniel had said, the Smeargle was amazingly fast. If they had been going on foot, they it would have left them in the dust. "Now," Larry commanded. Jumping off the Hoverboard, Lancer attempted to hit the Smeargle with a pound. However, the Smeargle responded by turning around and countering with a powerful Focus Punch that sent Lancer backwards. Larry wasn't able to catch Lancer so he had to go back for him, stopping the chase to get his Pokémon. He found Lancer slammed against a pile of garbage cans. "He got away," Larry said, helping the Piplup up. "I just hope we'll be able to catch him soon before word gets..." Larry cut off when he saw a small child watching the scene from nearby. For a moment he was frozen in place, but soon after he would turn and dart through the city. "So much for stealth," Larry thought with a sigh. "What could be the consequences of what just happened."

As their mission continued, Larry and Lancer continued to find the Smeargle, but it found away to elude them every time. By now the city dwellers had taken notice of Larry's action and began to dislike him. "So much for Plan A," Larry thought as he walked around. "Time for Plan..." Larry cut off when he heard an explosion coming from nearby. "What now!" Larry thought, racing towards the smoke. When they arrived, they found a dismal scene. People were fleeing left and right, buildings were set ablaze, and in the middle of it all stood a muscular Pokémon Hunter with a large Aggron next to him. "I'll ask again," the man said in a deep intimadating voice, "Where is the Smeargle that I chased into this city?" The people still in the area continued to lie and say they had no idea. "Have it your way," the man said, snapping his fingers. "You know what to do Aggron." Opening its mouth, the beast let out a powerful hyper beam that hit all the way to the coffee shop. "My coffee!" Daniel shouted in dispair. "You can take away my couch, you can take away my entire home, but when you take away my coffee, that's when I get mad!" The Pokémon hunter turned towards Daniel with a nasty smirk. "You'll be first," he said, snapping his fingers. At that moment, Larry decided to step in. If Daniel went, so did the pay for the mission. "Pound! Larry commanded. "Tackle!" The Aggron turned to get hit by the combined strength of Lancer and Pit, who he'd taken out a while ago. "What the," the hunter said, turning towards Lary. "Looks like some civilians have gotten a bit carried away. You better run home little man before you get hurt. This ain't no place for a kid." Larry's lips parted in a smirk at that warning. Launching forward, Larry dashed towards the hunter to show him just how storng he really was. The hunter was caught off guard by the Larry's incoming kick, but he managed to block it, sending Larry backwards after he flung his arm. "Fiesty aren't we," the hunter said, getting into a fighting position, "this should be fun. A two on three. Don't disappoint us." Snapping his fingers again, the Aggron prepred for another hyper beam. "Get back!" Larry shouted to his team as he dodged an incoming punch. Grabbing the man's arm, Larry dropped turned and dropped to the ground so that he could send the hunter to th floor with a judo throw. However, the man quickly got back on his feet, and caught Larry in the ribs with a spinning kick. "Metal Claw!" the Hunter commanded Aggron. After Pit and Lancer had narrowly dodged the hyper beam, they weren't prepared for the incoming Metal Claw, which sent them backwards as well. "Not bad kid," the man said, seeing Larry getting up. "That last attack actually stung a bit, though I can't say the same about your Pokémons' attacks. Aggron is still at full stregth and your two Pokémon are already done. It's pathetic." Larry dusted himself off as he prepared for another attack. Even if his partners were injured, they could always be healed or even revived. "Pound!" Larry commanded again. "Pit, give Aggron amnesia." Lancer and Pit nodded before charging towards Aggron. "Metal Claw!" the Hunter commanded while simmltatneously dodging a kick from Larry. Raising its claws, Aggron began to attack, but suddenly stopped. The amnesia had taken effect. Raising it's arm and jumping, Lancer hit Aggron with a powerful chop-like pound to the head. The attack must have done a little damage, because Aggron stumbled a little. However, it was a very slim amount. Meanwhile, Larry and th hunter were exchanging blows as each one tried to beat the other. The hunter was strong, but Larry was quick. He was able to dodge most of the attacks, and the ones he didn't dodge really did a number on him. The man on the other hand was taking multiple hits and still standing tall. "L-looks like we're g-gonna have to try a d-different ap-proach," Larry said panting. "Pit, K-king Lancer, Let's Fly!" Jumping into the air, Larry threw down his hoverboard, landed, and took flight. Going towards his two Pokémon, they both jumped on and flew off. "Let's see how you fair against an aerial attack," Larry said as they began circling around the hunter. "Bubble!" Opening its mouth, Lancer let out a stream of bubbles towards the Aggron. "It must have dealt somedamage on account of Aggron being part rock type," Larry thought. Aggron responded by releasing multiple Hyper Beams into the air. "Follow my lead King Lancer," Larry said, standing up. Without warning, Larry and Lancer both jumped off the hoverboard, leaving Pit to control it. With the force of gravity on him, Larry dealt a flipping downward kick to the hunter. Lancer on the other hand dealt a pound to the Aggron. The attacks had more power since Larry and Lancer had came from above, but it was still not enough to defeat them. Jumping backwards, Larry and Lancer landed back on the hoverboards and continued to circle. They continued this Bubble Pound combo for a while unil it became apparent that the Aggron wasn't going down that easy. "Let's hope this works," Larry said, grabbing Pit. "Metronome." As Pit began the attack Larry, jumped down so that he landed right on top of he hunter. However, he would then turn and toss Pit right towards Aggron. The hunter was to distracted by Larry to see the Munchlax opening its mouth and firing a Solar Beam at point blank range right at Aggron's face. It didin't have enough time to react before the mega blast was apon it. The force of the blast was enough to knock Aggron to the ground and unconcious. "Aggron!" the hunter said, seeing the down Pokémon. "We'll retreat for now, but we'll back for the Smeargle." With those words, the hunter returned Aggron to its Poké Ball and took off into the woods. When he was sure he was gone, Larry dropped on all fours in exhaustion. "You see," Larry said, addressing the people who were coming out of hiding. "As long as Smeargle remains here, your city will be in danger. Next time I won't be around to save everyone. Likewise, I suggest that the Smeargle be relocated. I assure you that I will deal no harm to the Smeargle. I only want what's best for the Smeargle and the city. The choice is yours. Have him stay to cover the building that will be continuously destroyed by hunters in paint, or let him come with me, live at Snagem, and gain its full potential." The people thought over what Larry said and were skeptical. However, everything was put to rest when a small figure walked up the streets towards Larry. It was the Smeargle, which looked unsually serious. "Fight Me!" Smeargle said in Pokémon speech, pointing to Lancer so Larry would understand. "Then I'll gladly go with you. If you beat me of course." Larry looked at Lancer, who seemed serious now. "You're here for a battle aren't you?" Larry said, half-understanding Smeargle. "Fine with us. When this is over, we'll have a new addition to the team."

Larry decided to have Lancer and Smeargle's battle in the woods so as not to cause more damage to the city. "Let's begin with peak!" Lary shouted. Lancer charged towards Smeargle with the sharp beak, but Smeargle responded with a mach punc that sent Lancer backwards. "Bubble!" Larry commanded. Turning in the air, Lancer released a stream of bubbles straight towards the Smeargle. They stung a bit, but they didn't really do much damage. Raising it's hand, the Smeargle fired a powerful Shadow Ball right for Lancer. "Dodge and use Bubble!" Larry commanded. Pit obeyed and leaped to the right, letting out another stream of bubbles. "You'll have to do better than that," Smeargle said in Pokémon speech as it withstood the attack. "Like so." Opening its mouth, Smeargle fired a large fire spin at Lancer. "Dodge again," Larry called. "Then you have to get close and use pound, followed by a bubble." Lancer nodded and dashed for Smeargle. The normal type tried to counter with a mach punch, but Lancer wouldn't fall for that attack again. Jumping into the air, Lancer gave the Smeargle a hard pound to the head. Afterwards, Lancer would jump back and fire off a round of bubbles. However, these were more powerful than before. Lancer was using Bubble Beam. "You're mine!" Larry said as he threw out his Poké Ball. After it sucked the Pokémon in, it would shake a few times before stopping. "Mission Complete," Larry said, grabbing the Poké Ball. "Now to check with Daniel for the reward." Turning around, Larry headed back to the city.

Tier Advancement Mission #1

Larry woke up this morning with a plan in mind ever since meeting that Beartic and all the trouble with Io, Larry had decided that is team needed work. All his Pokémon were strong and he knew it. However, he knew they would have to be stronger for Larry's next assignment. Apparently their was a group of troublemaking adolescents roaming the woods around the Moutain and pissing off the local Pokémon of the area. This wouldn't have been so bad if the team hadn't had a goal in mind. Apparently their was some shiny Scizor that they were trying to catch. If they succeeded, the results could be catastrophic for the Snagmes. It was up to Larry to stop the occurance, though he didn't really like playing the hero.

"Bubble Claw," Larry called out. Opening it's ,outh, Lancer would release a stream of bubbles straight for Larry. This was a new combination that Larry was working on, incorporating the Bubbles as a distraction. All of a sudden, Snips would pop out from behind the bubbles with a scratch attack. Thus was the sneak attack known as Bubble Claw. Blocking the attack with his x-crossed arms, Larry was sent backwards by Snip's sharp claws. "Well done," Larry said, putting his arms down. "That actually stung a bit." Looking at his tattered clothes, Larry decided now was the best time for a shower. Earlier he'd been working with his other Pokémon and had created three more combination attacks: Mystic Ball (a combination of Shadow Ball and Metronome), Mystic Claw (a combination of scratch and Metronome), and Focus Claw (a combination of scratch and focus/mach punch). Now Larry was ready to take a shower and then sleep forever. However, that would have to wait. Moments later, an explosion would ring out in the woods that sent multiple Spearow fleeing into the air fearfully. "It's them," Larry said, turning and dashing towards the forest. "Let's get going before they escape." Lancer and Snips would both nod before launching after Larry. When the trio finally arrived at the forest, the place was empty. However, there were plenty of clues to show that someone had been here, the most obvious a trail of footprints. Appling his tracking skills, Larry followed the tracks as he examined the area to grasp what had happened. From what he could tell, these guys had broken into a fight with a group of Pokemon and chased through the woods. Apparently their were five of them and 10 of the Pokemon. Larry came to a stop when he saw the trail heading left. Instead of following it, Larry kept going straight until he came to a cliff. Just as he had expected, he had found the cause of the raucuous below. The five trainers were dashing through the woods below and chasing after a group of Scyther, 10 of them to be exact. "Follow my lead," Larry whispered to his Pokemon before jumping down below. Feet first, Larry would suddenly land on one of the group of five, knocking him out. This distracted the others to turn their attention towards Larry so the Scyther could escape. "Who the..." one of the group said. He cut off when Snips suddenly dropped from nowhere and landed on his head. Jumping off, Lancer would later land on the boy's head, knocking him out. "They took out Brago," one of the team said. "They took out Nine too. Who the h*ll are you?" Standing up, Larry would raise his hand in a fighting stance as if to say, come at me. "What," another member said, "you tryin' to steal our moves. Team Ninja's the only shinobi out here and we don't take kindly to no snot nosed punks tryin' to steal our image." Larry didn't say anything, which only fuled the member's anger. Launching at Larry, he would attempt to give him a hard punch in the face. Big Mistake. Grabbing the boy's arm with his left hand, Larry would thrust his right hand onto it and lift the boy's arm over his shoulder. Moments later, the boy would be in the air as Larry slammed him to the ground with a hard judo throw. The force of the attack was enough to knock this boy unconcious. "Who's next?" Larry asked, turning his attention to the other trainers. "Be forewarned, I'm an actual ninja." The other two flinched at that, but then remembered they had Pokemon on their side: a Ninjask and an Infernape. "Now you've asked for it," one of them said, pointing at Larry. "Alright Ninjask, use your double team." All of a sudden, Ninjask would become two more Ninjask. Those two would become four and those four would become six. "Ember Infernape," the other called. Opening its mouth, the ape-like Pokémon would release a stream of fireballs at the group. They all quickly moved out the way, Larry taking out another Poké Ball. "We'll probably need some help with these fake ninjas," Larry said, throwing the ball into the air. "Ink, come out and use Focus Punch." Popping out of its Poké Ball, Ink would launch at Infernape with a glowing fist. The attack landed and was able to send Infernape back only a bit. "Again," Larry ordered. Launching at Infernape, Ink was about to attack when the swarm on Ninjask suddenly appeared around the Smeargle. "Scratch," the trainer had called out. All of a sudden, one of the Ninjask from behind would come at Ink with a hard scratch. Staggering a bit, Ninjask turned to see multiple Ninjask standing around him. He couldn't tell which was real and which was fake. Unfortunately, Ink was so focused on Ninjask that it didn't notice Infernape coming from behind with a Mach Punch. The attack sent Ink flying through one of the clones and into Larry, who as able to catch the Pokémon. "Alright," Larry said, looking at his opponents, "we'll have to work together on this. Just like we practiced Lancer, Snips. I'll have Ink use multiple shadow balls to weaken them and then you two can finish them with Bubble Claw. This is the signal for the attack." Putting his two fingers together, Larry would swing his arm in a chopping motion. It was a simple gesture that would get the point across. "Go," Larry said. Raising his hand, Ink would fire a dark ball of energy at Infernape. The Pokémon quickly dodged an Ink fired another blast. He kept firing these blasts at rapid succession aimed at both Ninjask and Infernape. However, Infernape was to quick and Ninjask was hard to find. "You'll have to get close," Larry told Smeargle. Nodding, the Smeargle would dash after the fleeing Infernape. Ninjask tried to stop him with fury swipes, but Ink just dodged and kept going on. "Close Combat," the Infernape trainer ordered. Turning around, the Infernape would launch as Smeargle with its martial arts skills. This was where Larry had to intervene. Jumping in front of Smeargle, Larry caught the Infernape's leg just as it was about to strike the Smeargle. "Attack now," Larry ordered. Nodding, Ink jumped into he air so he wouldn't hit Larry and fired a shadow ball at close range into the Infernape as it was punching at Larry to try to get free. The attack sent Infernape flying backwards and into a rock. Meanwhile, Ninjask tried to come from behind the two with a bug bite. However, as Larry swung his two fingers downwards, a stream of bubbles would attack the Ninjask and make it focus on Lancer. It was caught completely off guard by the sudden scratch attack. Flying backwards, Ninjask slmmed right into Infernape. Those they were both still able to fight, their trainers decided to call it quits for now. "Sand-Attack," the Ninjask trainer ordered. The Infernape trainer ordered an ember. As Larry and he gang tried to dodge the attacks, their opponents took advantage of the situation to flee. Larry had won this battle, but there ws still the problem of finding the team again before they found Scizor. That was when Larry remember the three he'd knocked out. "Let's gather these unconcious ones," Larry said, looking at his Pokémon. "We'll need to do some interrogation. Would you like that Snips?" Sneasel smiled deviously at the idea, which told Larry that she would have loved to do it. Taking out his hoverboard, Larry loaded all the bodies and climbed on. There was no room for the others, so his Pokémon went in their balls for now. "I hope you know something," Larry said before taking off for nearby cave. They wouldn't be bothered there.

"Where's your hideout?" Larry asked again. The frightened adolescents said nothing and simply trembled in fear. "Have it your way," Larry said, turning to Snips. The Sneasel would unsheath her sharp claws and scratch at the three fake ninja's faces again. After arriving in the cave, Larry had tied up the three enemies and douced them with water so they could begin the interrogation. However, they had gotten no useful information so far. All the kids would say is that its in some distant cave. "I'll ask again," Larry said. "Where's the hideout. If you don't tell me where it is, I'll have to cut off your..." Larry cut off when one of the adolescents started crying and finally said something useful. "Alright already," he said fearfully. "The hideout's in a cave just north of here. You can't miss it. It's the one surrounded by groups of weavile, the guards. That's all I know, I swear. But you won't get past the swarms of weavile. Especially not with that little Sneasel as your backup." Sneasel growled and unsheathed her claws, scratching the adolescent's face. Larry took note of this information before turning towards the mouth of the cave. Someone was coming. Larry readied himself for battle, thinking it was a ninja. However, the one that had wandered into the cave was a Ralts. What was it doing in a place like this? It looked up at the scene before it in curiousity. "I think I'll catch it," Larry said, taking out his Great Ball. He could use the psychic on the team. Throwing the ball into the air, out popped Pit the hungry Munchlax. Ralts sensed that it was in danger and used its psychic powers to lift Pit into the air. "Metronome!" Larry called out. Moving its fingers back and forth, Pit would call on a random attack.

Part 2: The hammer arm wasn't even close to hitting Ralts. With glowing blue eyes, Ralts used confusion to send Pit backwards and into the captured Team Ninja members. Ralts must have been afraid now, because it darted for a nearby boulder to hide. That was when Larry took out his notebook and remember that Ralts was a timid Pokémon. Hostility would only scare. Likewise, Larry needed to take the gentle approach. "Pit," Larry commanded. "Give this Ralts a kind Lick." Standing up, Pit would run over to the psychic with a long tounge to lick it with. This stunning move made Ralts dissy for a moment, allowing Larry to throw out Ink. "Shadow Ball," Larry commanded. Raising his hand, Ink would fire a ball of energy right at Ralts, making it crash into a wall. Now that it was really scared, Ralts tried to get out by charging up a teleport. However, Larry threw his Poké Ball before it had a chance to leave. One...two...three...Ralts was captured. However, the ball would suddenly disappear since Larry's party was full. "No matter," Larry said, turning to his team. "Seems we've got a problem on our hands. If what they say is true, we've got to look forward to a hoard of Weavile and many more "ninja" Pokémon when we get to their hq. We'll need to train hard if we want to make it past all of them." The Pokémon in the room nodded, and Larry finally turned his attention to the prisoners. With a boot to the face, he'd knock the three out so he'd be able to free them. Right now, they had training to do.

"Louder Pit," Larry commanded. "Go faster Snips and Lancer, you need more furocity." As the training session had begun, Larry had began by combing through moves to try to strengthin the group. Pit and Lancer got their moves down easy. The real problem was with Snips, who only knew three moves. Larry had to go through a hole book before she would be ready. Even so, it was worth it. "That's better pit," Larry said, covering his ears. "Looks like you've got screech. You too Lancer, Fury Attack is good to go. Snips, you might want to work on your speed more." Snips groaned before trying the attack again. This intense training between the three of them, since Ink could instantly learn anything, lasted three whole days before they were almost ready. Lancer had learned every move up to Whirlpool and Pit had learn everything up to Chip Away. Snips on the other hand had yet to fully grasp the concept of Icy Wind. After spending a day with agility, Snips was still having trouble grasping the ice-type attack. "Not cold enough," Larry said, feeling the slight chill of the attack. Snips growled and kept trying over and over. Larry was beginning to believe that she'd never master it. However, she eventually did and was able to let out the blue gust with ease. "Now we're ready," Larry said, looking to the horizon. "It's time we face off against Team Ninja."
Everything was quite at Ninja's hq at first. Weavile could be seen moving back and forth keeping watch. This would change, however, when all of a sudden a white shadow would run past and knock out two Weavile. Three other Weavile turned to this only to be suddenly hit by a dark ball of energy. That was when the other Weavile keeping watch sounded the alarm with a loud screech. Moments later, a swarm of Weavile would come running from the inside of the cave to investigate. That was when he showed up. Flying down to the ground would be Larry with Lancer and Pit right next to him. All of a sudden, Snips would appear appear next to Larry along with Ink, who had sketched the quick attack technique. "Get them," the Weavile shouted in Pokémon speech. All at once the gang of Weavile would charge towards the group with glowing white claws. "You know what to do," Larry said, flying foward. "Attack!" With those words, Larry's small army of Pokémon would launch towards the Weavile group. Raising his arms in the air, Lancer would wipe out a few Weavile with a Whirlpool to clear a path for the others. "Good job Lancer," Larry said as he flew past the Piplup. However, there were still Weavile coming in fast with quick attacks. This was when Ink and Snips would come in. Raising his hand, Ink would wipe out some with shadow ball after Snips slowed them down with icy wind. This allowed for a good distraction so Larry and the others could fly on. Their next obstacle came in the form of a trio of Lucario. As soon as they saw the group, the Lucario would release powerful force palms and dark pulses. "Bide," Larry commanded. Jumping in from of Larry, Piplup would suck in all the damage from the attacks before releasing it all in a powerful explosion. Flying on, Larry and the group would soon find them selves in a large room full of different Ninja trainers. This was the main area of the Hq. "Intruder," one of them said in surprise. Another one said, "He got through the Weavile!" The trainers mind-set at this moment was that they could take Larry down if they all jumped him. Big mistake, as they threw out their ninja Pokémon, Larry only needed two to take them on. A Piplup using whirlpool and a Smeargle using Shadow Ball. As the army of Pokémon came at Larry, he the two Pokémon would release their attacks and take out a majority of them. Apparently these ninjas weren't so strong after all. However, this theory changed when Larry heard one of the Ninjas speak. "Somebody call the boss!" one would say, backing up. Another would respond by saying, "He's out on a mission with the rest of the higher ups. Somethin' about a shiny Scizor." Larry flinched in surprise. They were going through with the plan now. Knowing this, Larry turned to leave, but stopped. He knew he had to finish things here first. The Pokémon that had survived the Whirlpool and Shadow Balls had countered with Water Guns, Flame Throwers, and other powerful attacks. This was his chance to finish them. "From this moment forward," Larry said, turning to the attacks, "Team Ninja is disbanded. If anyone come back, they'll have to go through undeniable pain like this again. Bide!" Jumping into the air, Lancer would absorb all the attacks before releasing them in a powerful explosion that busted a hole in the roof of the cave. However, Larry had no time to celebrate the victory. After all his Pokémon got on, Larry flew off in search of the leader of Team Ninja.

Larry could hear a loud howling in the distance, which wasn't a good sign. Was he too late? No...there was time. Making the hoverboard fly at Max speed, Larry followed the trail of screams and foot prints as he searched for the leaders. A sigh of relief would come out of Larry when he saw the group of three hadn't succeded in their mission yet. However, they were engaging a group of Scyther. Behind them was...a shiny Scizor! "Team Ninja!" Larry called, getting the group's attention. As the three turned around, Larry quickly took notice of the boy with the red scarf. He looked different than the others. "Are you the leader?" Larry said, pointing at the boy. "If you are, you should know that I just destroyed your entire Headquarters and sent the team members running for the hills. Team Ninja is hearby disbanded. Any objections?" One of the group was about to speak up, but Larry silenced him with a kick to the face. "Are we going to have a problem?" Larry said, gesturing to his Sneasel who was just itching to attack. The red scarfed boy looked intimadated for a moment but then started snickering. "You're bluffing," he said. "Ain't nobody could have took out an army of Weavile and a group of Ninjas that fast. Takashi donesn't believe a word your saying." Larry smirked at this, jumping back to stand with his team. "Then why don't you test me and find out," Larry said. "Lancer, Snips, Growl." Opening their mouth, the two Pokémon let out a frightening roaring sound. However, Larry wasn't trying to scare the Ninjas. He was just trying to make the Scyther run so they wouldn't get in the way. The manuever worked and the Scyther did flee fearfully. Now the real battle could begin. "Have it your way," Takashis said, taking out two Poke Balls. "Shun and I should have no problem against you. Koffing, Nincada, Ninjask, come on out." Throwing the balls into the air, out would pop the three Pokémon ready to fight. Shun on the other hand had already had his Pokémon out to take on the Scyther: a Gallade, a Weavile, and a Nincada. "Scratch Nincada," Takashi ordered. "Ninjask, use Fury Swipes. Koffing, use Tackle." With that the three Pokémon would launch at Larry's team. "Whirlpool!" Larry ordered. "Screech Snips and Pit." Opening their mouths, the two Pokémon would relase defening screeches that made the Nincada, Koffing, and Ninjask stop in their tracks. This distraction allowed for Lancer to let loose the Whirlpool with be accuracy, making it engulf the three Pokémon. The attack sent them into three different directions, but they were still fight ready. However, as an unexpected result of the attack, Larry was able to knock out the Infernape who was coming in with a Mach Punch. "Infernape!" Shun called to the unconsious Pokémon. "You'll pay for that. Gallade, Confusion!" With glowing eyes, Gallade would use its psychic powers to lift Lancer into the air. "Sketch and use Confusion," Larry ordered. Pointing its tail towards Gallade, Ink would instantly learn the attack before using it on Gallade. Lifting the beast in the air, he distracted it from Lancer, making him fall down. Using the Confusion, Ink sent Gallade backwards and into a nearby tree. "Shadow Ball," Larry ordered. Raising his hand, Ink would release a dark ball of energy to knock the Gallade through the tree and out cold. Two down, four to go. "Quick Attack," Shun ordered Weavile. Launching foward, Weavile would come at th group with great speed. "Snips," Larry said to Sneasel. "Think you can take care of your evolution? Quick Attack." Launching foward, Snips would clash with the Weavile in a shot for shot battle. Meanwhile, Takashi was launching a Leech Life to try to heal Nincada and Ninjask. Koffing also relased a Smog to cover their tracks. "Defense Curl," Larry ordered. "Lancer, use Bide." Both Pokémon nodded before using their respective moves. The Defense Curl did lessen the damage of the attack from Ninjask, but the Bide actually sent back Nincada's attack at twice the power in the form of a beam from Lancer's body. Nincada was out now, leaving only three Pokémon. Back at Sneasel's batle, Snips and Weavile were matching each other blow for blow in their fierce battle. Both Pokémon were exahusted and panting now. The next attack would finish things. "Metal Claw," Shun ordered. With silver claws, Weavile would come at Snips. However, Larry quickly countered by ordering an agility to get behind Weavile. "Scratch," Larry ordered. With glowing white claws, Snips would attack Weavile and send it flying into its trainer, knocking them both out. Ninjask and Koffing were all that remained. "Don't breath in the Smog," Larry said as the cloud of gas surrounded them. Flying upwards, Larry and Ink would get a better vantage point of the scene. Takashi was below with his Koffing letting out the gas. It was time to end this battle. "Focus Punch," Larry called out as he jumped off his board. Following after him, Ink would come down towards the Koffing with a glowing fist. Takashi looked up to get a foot slammed across his face that sent him sliding across the floor. Koffing on the other hand was knocked out by the attack. It was just Takashi and his Ninjask. Cracking his knuckles, Larry looked intimadatingly down at Takashi. Behind him, Snips and Lancer also joined in the intimadation. This frightened Takashi to the point of turning and running for he hills with a trail of pee running down his leg. Larry's mission was a success. As for the Ninjask, they just used Amnesia to mak it forget everything before leaving for the Hq. That Ninjask was as good as wild now.

Night’s 1st C-Rank Mission

Waking up from a 12 hour long nap, Night found himself blinking into the darkness. He was still in his ninja garbs, as he always was whether awake or asleep, so he climbed out of bed and decided to get some dinner, which was breakfast to him. Unfortunately, as he got out of bed and made his way to the door, he accidentally found himself waking up his Growlithe, Wolf. The little dog barked at his trainer happily, waking up all the other sleeping Pokémon. “Nice going Wolf,” Night said sarcastically. “Now that everyone’s awake…who wants breakfast?” His Gible, Nibbles, was the first to jump at the idea, though the others were cranky about being woken up in the middle of the night.

Heading to the kitchen, Night found himself a nice burger and stuck it in the microwave, sitting on the counter as he waited for it to ding. While he did this, he’d be blissfully unaware of the fact that Nibbles had disappeared. Wolf didn’t notice it either. He was too busy trying to get Night’s attention. “Growlithe!” he barked, wagging his tail as he wanted to play. However, Night wasn’t about to leave his post to play with the dog. What if he left and the burger was finished cooking? What if someone found it and got the idea to steal the burger? What if Night came back and saw that person eating his burger with a happy smile? He wouldn’t risk it.

After a few minutes, the microwave let out a loud dink to show the food was ready. “Alright,” Night said, opening the microwave and reaching for his food. However, as he did, Wolf would suddenly jump up and snatch the burger up in his mouth. “Growlithe,” he said before running off with the burger in his mouth. Night had a look of confusion on his face at first, but that soon turned to anger as a vengeful look came on his face. “Come back here with my burger!” Night shouted running after Wolf. Seeing Night take the bait, Wolf began to lead the trainer around the HQ and even through a few angry sleeping people’s rooms. They were definitely pissed to have a boy and his dog jump onto them & interrupt their sweet dreams.

The chase lasted for a while before Night finally stopped, panting in exhaustion. “G-get back here you…stupid,” he tiredly. “Hold on…I need a minute.” Wobbling over to the kitchen, Night pulled out a water bottle and chugged it down like it was a bear bottle. As he did this, he’d notice Nibbles walking in with something white in his hands. “What’s that Nibbles?” Night asked after going through the water bottle and another one. The Gible handed Night the object before running off to play with Wolf. Looking at it closely, Night saw that it was a letter straight from the Snagem leader. Opening up the envelope that held it, Night began to read quietly.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hm. You’re doing well, I see. Got through your first advancement and reached the end of another tier. An impressive feat in itself, but it must be said now. These will only get rougher from here. Fortunately, things might be a little familiar for you if your previous mission was any indication. But unlike last time, things are a tad more serious in nature. If you think you can prove your worth even more, then read on.

As with the previous mission, you must be at the top of a tier. In this case, you’ll need to be at the top of Tier 5. Until then, you won’t be allowed to do this mission. I am not one for many words, though, so forgive any vagueness. I’m sure you’ll figure it out. Now then, allow me to brief you. Despite your efforts, it seems like the pranksters that call themselves Team Ninja haven’t learned their lesson in the least. Their mischief has begun to cause issues again, this time out in the Ilex Forest.

Normally, this might not a big deal, but there is the matter of the forest’s inhabitants. Bug Pokemon are very common, and it’s quite normal to find a tree with several Metapod or Kakuna attached, waiting for their evolution. On a rare day, you might even find a Silcoon or Cascoon. On their own, they aren’t much. But this isn’t what they’re after here. What they are after deals with what Pokemon like those evolve into. A Butterfree and its various powder attacks, Beedrill and its powerful venom, I could go on. Suffice to say that Pokemon like this could be dangerous if something causes them to start up. Not only for the forest’s Pokemon, but anyone around as well. Even these obsessive ninja fanatics wouldn’t be safe.

In this case, your mission has a few purposes. First of all, it’s one of protection, to avoid Team Ninja trying to do something stupid like trying to open up a cocoon Pokemon to speed up its evolution, or agitating any Butterfree, Beedrill, Beautifly or Dustox that might actually be around. Secondly, it’s one of rescue. I can’t say I’m too fond of this, but given how likely it is that something could really go bad out there, it’s imperative to get Team Ninja. I don’t care if the endeavor involves tying them up and dragging them out, while making them listen to a horribly dubbed show and stealing any money they have. Just make sure they aren’t in the forest by the time you’re done.

As before, Pokémon that can handle the likes of bugs and poison would be beneficial for you. That said, try not to burn down too much of the forest. It probably wouldn’t be too becoming, and counter-productive to your objectives.

Objectives
- Prevent Team Ninja from causing too much trouble.
- Also suppress any trouble that might occur from an agitated Pokémon, especially ones like Butterfree and Beedrill.
- Get Team Ninja out of there, by any means necessary.
- Kinda important: Keep the forest intact. If there isn’t one left, you’re probably gonna fail.

Opposition
- Just as your last advancement, Team Ninja itself. They’ve picked up a few more since last time, so you’ll likely face a minimum of four members. Three of those four seem to be just under their leader. Maybe they look up to them or something, who knows. Their Pokémon have improved as well; they still only use two to three, but some of them will be evolved to their second stage. Apart from this, you’ll have to take on Takashi. Whisperings mention a Dustox, Weezing and Shedinja with him. Did something happen to his Ninjask last time?

Rewards
- Advancement into Tier 4, as an Ace Snagem
- Anything else varies
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When he finished, a wide grin came onto Night’s face. He was finally being recognized as a candidate for the next promotion. This was what he’d been waiting for. However, if his opponent was Ninja again, he’d probably have some trouble. Night remembered well how Takashi had almost captured a shiny Scizor and started a whole war with a group Scyther. He’d barely been able to stop him with only Peep, who was a Torchic at the time, in his party. It was lucky he had the Scyther on his side, or that could have been messy.

“Might as well start it now,” Night thought. “I’m sure the fellas up above won’t mind me waking them up. Well…Titan might mind.” Putting the letter away in his pocket, Night would make his way back to his room to get the rest of his team.
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………....
Teleporting into Ilex Forest, Night and his group would scan the area curiously & cautiously. “Can you see anything, Blank?” Night asked the Ralts next to him. She wasn’t really Night’s Pokémon; she belonged to Night’s cousin Larry. Night had just been borrowing her from time to time for transportation. However, lately Blank has started to come on actual missions with Night because Larry was busy with the other Pokémon in his team.

Raising its hands, Ralts tried to sense out for anyone nearby. Since she could sense negative feeling, Night thought she’d be able to find Takashi & the Pokémon he terrorized. However, when she shook her head, Night let out an exhausted sigh. “It was worth a shot,” Night said, beginning to walk through the forest. “Alright guys, let’s split up here. If anyone finds anything, just shoot a signal into the sky…or shout.” The Pokémon nodded, before going off. However, Night would stop his Lairon, Titan, as he was about to leave. “Not you Titan,” he said. “We’ll be searching together. I need a body guard just in case.” The Lairon simply nodded before turning around to follow Larry.

As the search went on, Nibbles, Wolf, Peep, and the team of Night & Titan all ended up with cold trails. However, the same couldn’t be said for Blank. As she moved slowly through the area, her attention would be drawn when she heard conversation nearby. “Why don’t we try a chainsaw,” a male said. When Blank peaked from behind a tree to see what was going on, her well hidden eyes grew wide in shock. It was a trio of boys about to cut open a Metapod with a large hunting knife. “Better get Night,” she thought teleporting away. She didn’t want to draw the boy’s attention yet she still needed to make haste.

When Blank reappeared with Night and everyone else, she found the group of boys about to cut at the Metapod with the knife. “Confusion please,” Night said to Blank. She nodded before using her psychic powers to lift the boys up & make them drop the Metapod. “Hey what the ****!” the shouted in surprise. Stepping from behind the tree, Night gave a little smile & wave to greet the four. “Yo,” he said. “I’m from Snagem & I’m here to kidnap you.” The trio quickly recognized Night as the one who stopped them last.

“Not you again!” one of them shouted. “Don’t think you can get off easy this time! We’ve gotten stronger since last time!” Night smiled, before gesturing for the rest of his team to come out. “You’re not the only one,” he said as he team assembled. “Now, as I was saying…we’re here to capture you. Blank, you can keep up this confusion for a while, right? Good! I need you on guard duty.” By the look of worry Blank gave him, Night decided that the Ralts might need a little help. “Don’t worry,” he said reassuringly, “Wolf is staying with you.” The little dog barked happily before running over to Blank, standing straight up at attention.

As they stood watch, Night and the others continued the long search for the Ninja & their HQ. Walking around, Night did find a couple stragglers, which he chased back to Blank & Wolf, but he didn’t find anyone important. However, as he continued, he did find something rather interesting. Attached to a nearby tree were a group of empty yellow shells, which were all ripped open. They were Kakuna, but the bug inside was gone. Looking down, Night saw a very bruised and bent knife lying on the ground beside the shells. “That’s a bad sign,” he thought, picking up the knife. As he did this, he’d hear buzzing nearby.

“What’s that noise?” he said, looking around. That was when he’d see them…a large group of Beedrill coming right for them. Apparently, they got they got the wrong idea when they saw Night with the knife so they decided to attack him rather than Ninja. “Peep!” Night shouted to the Combusken. “Persuasive Talk!” Nodding, the Combusken would step in front of the group and began speaking inspirationally to the Beedrill. Night didn’t understand a word he said, but he always somehow managed to make peace with wild Pokémon. However, it didn’t work this time. Rather than listening to reason, the Beedrill came at Peep with Fury Attack, stabbing at him with their stingers. Seeing that diplomacy wasn’t working, Night ordered a metal sound from Titan. Opening his mouth, the Lairon let out a loud screech that made the Beedrill stop in their tracks. They couldn’t cover their ears, so they just froze as they were paralyzed.

“Now run!” Night shouted over the screams. Turning around, they all took off into the forest, Titan still screaming to stop the Beedrill. Eventually, they were out of range so the Beedrill could move again, speeding after the group. “Combusken!” Peep shouted as he continued to try diplomacy. The mission would be a failure if they destroyed the Beedrill. However, they would all stop, including the Beedrill, when they found themselves looking into a dark cave. Inside…were multiple Kakunas & Metapods. Next to them, scattered across the floor, were damaged knives & projectiles. Whoever was here had tried to open the bug types & ended up using them for target practice in the meantime. However, none of the Pokémon were actually opened or even harmed. Still, finding this angered the Beedrill greatly.

Peep had to quietly explain that Night wasn’t responsible as the Beedrill were about to attack. When they still didn’t believe him, Peep went in the cave to get proof. There was a loud crash & the sound of shouting could be heard before the Combusken came back holding a beaten up preteen up to the Beedrill. “See,” Peep said, shaking the boy. The Beedrill believed then now, but there was a bad side to that. Now that they knew someone else was responsible, they wanted revenge on them. Turning around, Night could hear shouting from inside. Squinting, he would see a large group of kids coming right for them. Apparently the kid Peep beat up wasn’t the only one in there.

“Attack!” the Beedrill said, racing into the cave. Night called for them to stop, but they didn’t listen. This was bad. His mission would end in failure if he let the Beedrill kill all the Ninjas. He had no choice but to stop them. However, before he could do anything, Night heard a loud scream from afar.

It was coming from the same direction he’d left Blank & Wolf. What’s more, he recognized the screams as Blank’s. Now he had a real problem. Go help Blank…or stop the Beedrill. This would have been a better obstacle for Larry, but Night couldn’t rely on his cousin forever. Scratching his chin, he tried his best to use his brain to solve the problem. However, he couldn’t think too long, since the Beedrill had already gone on the attack. “Split up!” Night shouted finally. “Peep! Nibbles! Titan! You three stay here & handle the Beedrill! Protect Team Ninja even if you have to attack them yourselves! Just as long as they’re alive, go crazy!” Before anyone had a chance to argue, Night would turn and take off into the forest.

Letting out a sigh, Peep would turn back to the cave & make a dash for it with the others. Being Night’s partner, he was the official leader of the group. Opening his mouth, Peep let out a Fire Blast that caught the Beedrill’s attention, taking out many of them. However, there were a few who escaped by going through the gaps in the attack. They were definitely angry now, turning towards Peep & charging at him with Twinneedles. However, Titan would suddenly jump in front of Peep and use harden to make the Beedrill’s drill-like arms bounce off. They were about do more, when a bright white light suddenly shot past them and slammed into Gible, knocking out the oblivious dragon immediately. The attack had come from a Lucario owned by one of the Team Ninja members, a blue scarfed boy with black hair. What a time to run into the second in command of Ninja when Night was away. This had just turned into a three way battle.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Back with Night, the trainer would eventually arrive to find Blank & Wolf panting in exhaustion as they stood in front of the trio of ninjas, who were unconscious. Following their gaze, Night found himself looking at a tall familiar red scarfed boy & a short unfamiliar yellow scarfed boy. “Finally found you Takashi,” Night said, drawing the red scarfed boy’s attention. “Who’s your friend?” Takashi growled when he saw Night, forgetting about Wolf & Blank. “You b*****d,” he said angrily. “It was your fault that we had to move to this crazy place & lost that crazy strong Scizor. Lucky for us, we found these cocoons so…wait are you here to stop us again?!” Night nodded with a smile, walking over to stand with Blank and Wolf.

“This time we’re also going to beat the crap out of you & drag you back to HQ,” Night said, gesturing to the trio of ninjas. “These three are coming with us and so are you. Even if you have gotten stronger, you’ll still fall to a few jabs to the face.” Takashi shook his head, smiling now. “Not this time,” he said, gesturing to his team of a Dustox, Weezing and Shedinja. “Not only have I evolved…but I also have an actual ninja on my side.” The boy beside Takashi would smile now, punching the air at the ready. “Straight from Mahogany town, meet Terashi Blade!” Takashi introduced like an announcer. Night flinched when he heard the words “Mahogany Town.” That was where he & Larry were born. What would a true Shinobi be doing following a punk like Takashi?

“Looks like I’ve got some competition,” Night said, stepping forward a bit. “So you’re another ninjaaaaa!” As he shouted this, he’d make a run for Takashi, catching the leader off guard. Jumping into the air, he aimed a spinning kick at Takashi’s face. However, his foot would suddenly stop midway as it was actually caught. With a look of pure surprise, Night saw that the one who’d defended Takashi was Terashi. “You shall not hurt Master Takashi!” he said, pushing Night away. Sliding across the floor, Night realized that he might have his hands full with these opponents.

“Powder Snow!” Terashi commanded his Frosslass. The ice Pokemon nodded and raised her hands to fire a blast of freezing snow. “Ember!” Night shouted. Opening his mouth, Wolf countered by letting loose a fury of fire balls. The two attacks collided forcefully, creating a cloud of smoke. Taking advantage of this, Night made another dive for Takashi only to be stopped by Terashi. “I see you’ve got everything down here,” Takashi said, returning his Pokemon to their balls. “Think I might go break get more cocoons. You clean up here.” Terashi nodded, pushing Night backwards as the smoke cloud went away. If he wanted the leader, he’d have to get past the ninja.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Back with Peep, he was still standing, for the most part, but panting heavily. Scattered across the floor were the unconscious bodies of his comrades, most of Team Ninja, and many of the Beedrill. A few had gotten away, but they’d cleaned up for the most part. However, there was still the problem of the blue scarfed ninja, who was still standing with his one remaining Ninjask. After all this fighting, Peep was exhausted and bruised while Ninjask was still in tip top shape. Lucky for Peep, it was when things looked bleakest that his true power showed. “Combusken!” Peep showed as his Blaze ability was activated.

Charging up fire in its mouth, Peep would let it all out in a powerful Flamethrower. “Agility!” the blue scarfed boy commanded. At that moment, Ninjask would dart from side to side as he dodged the attack. However, Peep countered with a quick attack to catch up & attack the bug type. “Hyperbeam!” the boy commanded when Ninjask got up from the attack. Raising its arms, an orange ball would begin to form in front of the bug type, firing off in a power beam of energy. However, Peep countered with a Blaze charged Fire Blast, which slammed forcefully into the Hyperbeam. The two attacks seemed even at first, but it would soon be seen that Peep’s Fire Blast was being pushed back.

“Combusken!” Peep shouted, forcing its flames to shoot forth in a blazing aura. At that moment, the Fire Blast would begin to push forward, overpowering the Hyper Beam. “Ninjask!” the boy shouted as the Pokemon was soon engulfed in the powerful flames. It’s body was reduced to shadow inside the fire. As the attack ended, the smoky unconscious body of Ninjask could be seen lying on the ground. “Ninjask!” the boy shouted in surprise. “Damn Combusken!” Returning the Ninjask to his Pokéball, the boy would take off into the forest. Panting heavily, Peep would fall to his knees in exhaustion. At that moment, he’d notice someone approaching in the distance. Peep quickly recognized him by his red scarf, which was bad.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“N-not bad,” Night said, panting. “But you still have a ways to go to catch up to me.” Terashi & his Frosslass looked up at Night, shaking as he tried to stand. “Damn…you,” he said quietly before falling unconscious. Turning back to Wolf & Blank, who were barely standing, Night would squat to eye level as a thankful smile came on his face. “Thanks guys,” he said, giving them congratulatory pats on the head. Wolf barked happily, giving Night a friendly lick, while Blank simply smiled in response. She was happy that even she could be of some help in this situation. “Now we just have to find Takashi,” Night said, standing up. “Oh! I almost forgot…we have to go check on Peep and the others first! C’mon!” Turning around, Night would make a run for the Ninja’s cave home.

Arriving at the HQ, Night found another surprising sight. Standing in front of him, surrounded by all his unconscious allies, was Takashi. In front of him, was a large swarm a Beedrill. They had gotten bigger since the last attack and now were waging a war on the single Takashi. “Yo!” Night called to him. When Takashi turned, he’d find a boot being slammed into his face as Night hit him with a powerful roundhouse. The attack sent him flying into the cave & falling unconscious. “Sorry but we’ll be taking over from here on,” he said with a smile. However, he was actually bluffing. After the fight, everyone was exhausted…including Night. Looking down, Night saw that Peep & the other were unconscious so they wouldn’t be much help either. They needed a miracle to pull through this.

The Beedrill buzzed loudly as they looked at Night, realizing that he’d actually sided with Ninja. He would have argued if he understood what they were saying, but since he was silent they expected they were right. “Ember!” Night shouted, seeing the Beedrill coming with Twinneedles. Weakly standing up, Wolf could only manage a few fireballs, but that was it. The attacks barely damaged the many Beedrill, so they were in the clear to attack. Night made an x shaped block and covered his eyes as he prepared to take the Twinneedles. However, he didn’t feel the needle arms hit him. Opening his eyes, he saw the Beedrill were frozen in place by some kind of blue light. Turning around, Night saw that Blank was using confusion.

“Blank,” Night said in surprise. She smiled weakly before suddenly glowing a white light. She was evolving. Growing a little taller, the glow would vanish as Blank was revealed to be a Kirlia. “K-kirlia?” Night said in surprise. The Pokemon looked at her new appearance in surprise before turning to glare at the Beedrill. “Kirlia!” she shouted, suddenly pushing them all backwards with a Psychic. The bugs buzzed loudly at this before releasing multiple pin missiles. However they’d all be incinerated by a sudden flamethrower which burned at the paralyzed Beedrill. Wolf had used the last of his strength to help Blank, falling unconscious afterwards.

“Kirlia,” she said gratefully to the Growlithe. Turning back to the group of Beedrill, Blank would raise her hands as she began to use Psyshock. The blue & purple balls of energy shot force and took out a few of the Beedrill, injuring those still standing. Now the bugs were angry, launching at Blank with Poison Jabs. Blank countered with a Magical Leaf, raising her hands and suddenly releasing the light green leaves. The attack took out a few more Beedrill, but they were still coming. Even with her revamped power, she couldn’t beat all of them alone. She had to try a different tactic. “Kirlia,” she said, her eyes suddenly glowing red. At that moment, the Beedrill’s eyes began to glow red. One by one, they began to fall as Blank used Hypnosis.

Eventually, the ground was filled with sleeping Beedrill. “B-blank,” Night said, still shocked about the whole thing. Blank turned back to him with a smile, her eyes suddenly glowing a bluish color. At that moment, the fallen Team Ninja members would rise into the air as Blank used Pychic. “Oh yeah!” Night shouted, remembering the mission. Turning around, he ran into the cave to make sure the coccons were o.k. He saw broken knives lying everywhere, but it was all good for the most part. Or…that was how it was before the cocoons began to hatch.

“Teleport!” Night shouted as he came running out of the cave. “Get us the h outta here!” Nodding, the Kirlia would suddenly use teleport to get them all to a safe place. She reappeared in a nearby city, dropping them in the street. Just for kicks, Night also had her rip their clothes off with her confusion. What a surprise it would be to wake up naked with everyone staring at you? If that didn’t scare them straight, he didn’t know what would.

“Now we have to get back to the forest,” Night said, turning to Blank. “Those newly evolved Pokemon are probably causing a raucous looking for Ninja.” Blank, who was tired from using so much of her psychic powers, nodded before teleporting them both to Illex. Unfortunately when they arrived, they found that their hunch was correct. The bug types were running rampage, and they turned to the forest Pokemon since there were no Ninja. This was bad. If the forest Pokemon got hurt…

Night was about to turn to Blank to do something when he realized that she was on one knee, panting from all the psychic techniques. She was too exhausted to fight, so Night would have to take care of this himself. He was about to begin his search when he suddenly heard a loud voice echoing through the forest. “Bi!” it shouted as a greenish light began to envelope the forest. Night didn’t know what was going on, but he suddenly felt a calmness flowing into him.

Blank felt it too, standing up to look into the trees. Deciding to check it out, Night took out his hoverboard & flew into the air to get a vantage point. When he looked down, he saw something amazing. The bug Pokemon had actually stopped causing chaos. Even stranger, they just began to move around as if nothing had ever happened. Whoever’s voice that was had probably been responsible for this. Looking around, he tried to spot…something. His eyes stopped on a green fairy-like figure who suddenly disappeared before Night had a chance to realize what he saw. “Was that…” Night thought, flying back down to Kirlia.

Blank seemed to be looking in the direction the green figure had gone in. Could she had seen him? It was likely. “Looks like our job is done here,” Night said, scratching his head. “C’mon, we better get back to Peep & the others. You are good with directions, right?” Blank nodded, jumping onto Night’s hoverboard. With her safely on, Night took one last look at Ilex before flying away.

After a while of hospital time, Peep & the gang were up and ready again, so Night was able to return to Snagem. Of course Larry was surprised when he saw Blank had evolved into a Kirlia. However, he would then surprise Night by saying, “you’ve grown close, so why don’t you keep her?” Night was silent for a moment, gaping at his cousin, while Blank looked up at Night happily. “I already have too many Pokemon to keep track of,” Larry continued. “Blank would be better in your care.” A wide grin came onto Night’s face as he nodded to his cousin, turning to his new Kirlia. “Guess we’ll be teammates from now on,” Night said with a smile. “That means I can give you different name…Blank just makes you sound invisible. How about Pink…Brain…no it has to be something amazing.”

Scratching his chin, he’d snap his fingers as an idea came in his brain. “How about Aphrodite,” Night said. “She’s the greek god of love & beauty. Sounds appropriate don’t you think...Aphrodite.” The Kirlia shook her head. The name sounded smart, but it would be too long to remember. “Then I’ll just call you April,” Night said scratching his head. This time, the Kirlia nodded as she was happy with the name. Now that they’d got that figured out, all that was left was to report to Sub.
